I am the India Director for a UN campaign called The Global Goals campaign which aims to raise awareness of the new Global Goals for Sustainable Development being launched on 25th September by 193 world leaders. Our mission is to reach 7bn people in 7 days from the day the Goals are launched (26th Sept – 2nd Oct) using a number of ways to “tell everyone”.
One of the ways is through a crowd-soucred video which will be unveiled on the Google homepage on 25th Sept and launched at the Global Citizen Festival on 26th Sept in NY (this is the same event Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended last year).
Already participating in this video are  A R Rahman, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan who join the likes of Ashton Kutcher, Bill and Melinda Gates, Cate Blanchett, Daniel Craig, Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Lopez, Kate Winslet, Malala Yousafzai, One Direction, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, to name but a few. The promo video is out and Hrithik Roshan is featured alongside Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Malala amongst others http://wethepeople.globalgoals.org
