Producer, Director & Writer Shakeel Saifee has been active in the industry since several years as he started his career as an actor in theatre followed by television and ultimately reached 35 mm silver screen. In his long period, Saifee has acted in umpteen TV serials like Dial 100, Imaan and tele-film Sevak as a villain. Furthermore, the list of his work also continued with Mayavi Nagri, Kanyadaan, Mr. Fantoosh which had Rajesh Puri and Gardish having Irfan Khan, directed by Anand Mahendroo. Saifee also wrote and directed a tele-film Nasha Maut Ka for DD Metro. After doing lot of work on small screen, Saifee finally got a break as a 2nd villain in Lawrence D’Souza’s movie Dil Bhi Kya Cheez Hai.

In the year 2002, Shakeel Saifee turned producer and Made 8 Films , the movies were Paanch Paapi, which starred Ravi Kishan, Ishrat Ali, Raza Murad and Alok Nath, directed by Rahul Pandit. The other film produced by Shakeel Saifee was titled Hit List. The film was directed by Sanjay Sharma, brother of Anil Sharma. Then Shakeel Saifee focused on scripting and direction with films like Main Hoon Kharidaar, Ab Kiski Baari and the movies which were also produced and directed by him were Pahli Bhool, Feel The Touch and Nadaaniyan. Shakeel Saifee also directed a Bhojpuri movie Chutki Bhar Sindoor as a ghost director.

His controvercial  film Anjuna Beach Based on mysterious death of Scarlett Keeling took place on a Goa beach. On this gruesome incident, Producer Sikander A Khan and writer-director Shakeel  Saifee have completed a feature film titled, Anjuna Beach.

Presently, Shakeel Saifee is busy with a big budget  project Dil Mein Tum Hi Ho…  which is progressing fast and is on completion stage. The film has a fresh pair Arihant Jain and Sejal Sharma with supporting artist like Rati Agnihotri, Parikshit Sahani, Amita Nangia, Arun Bakshi and Gulshan Pandey. It has music by Shakir Wajid and is made under the banner of Sancheti Cine Vision. Shakeel Saifee’s forthcoming films are Aaryavart-An Indian Soldier and Spot-The Pick-Up Point which is written by K. Pancham.
