The 147 th Birthday of the Founder of the Indian Film Industry , Shri Dadasaheb Phalke was celebrated with enthusiasm at the Film City , Goregaon.

The Films Today Team offered their tribute to the ever great personality and remembered his and his familys endless efforts in the foundation of Indian Cinema.

The Films Today Team has requested the President  and the Prime Minister of India to Bestow BHARAT RATNA Award and grace the great efforts of Shri Dadasaheb Phalke for Originating Films in India and taking Indian Cinema across the Borders. The Indian Film Industry is generating so much Revenue to the Indian Economy there are thousands of Families in India who thrive on this Industry.
