Pink City, which is known for its rich heritage, would now also be home to a wax museum for the domestic as well as foreign tourists. Anoop Srivastava the creative head of the project and director of Entertainment 7 Creative Ventures shared that the museum would not just have wax statues but also have a Sheesh Mahal where the tourists can themselves wear the attires that Maharajas used to wear and can enjoy the royal feel.
A wax statue of Hollywood superstar Jackie Chan, which will be part of this museum, was unveiled by actor Sonu Sood at Jaipur Marriott Hotel.
Chan’s statue looked very realistic, about which Sood said, “Chan’s face looks very real, kamaal ka banaya hai! It feels like I’m seriously standing with him.” Chan’s statue was wearing a black suit and the look was completed with a Rajasthani safa.
On the occasion, the directors of the museum even shared their plans about the other renowned celebrities of the country whose statues would be put up at the museum.
The museum is the brainchild of Anoop Srivastava and it would have around 28 to 30 wax statues of renowned faces from various fields like Bollywood, Hollywood, sports, history as well as politics, and the royal family would also be a major part of the statues, said Srivastava.
“To name a few, the personalities like Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Dalai Lama, Rabindranath Tagore, Bhagat Singh, MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Kalpana Chawla and much more will have their statues in the museum,” he added.
Satish Reddy from World News Network said, “It’s really a great concept that Anoop Srivastava has come with and we wish him luck for generating more idea’s as India is developing so gradually and will look forward to achieving more in the coming year.”
The museum will be ready and open for visitors in August. Chetan Chavan, Somesh Bharaga, Leena Srivastava and Sculpture Susanta Ray are other Director’s of the project.
