Mumbai, August 2016: India’s very own Indie Music band, Maati Baani,popular for its beautiful blend of cultural compositions, now endeavors to spread peace across the globe. Teaming up with young artists from around the world, Maati Baani is all set to release a refreshed version of hit number ‘Heal the World’ by Michael Jackson on the legend’s 58th birthday on August 29. To erase boundaries and artistic inhibitions, to spread the message of love and peace, to create awareness on the sufferings of the war victims, Maati Baani has recomposedthis song by collaborating with children in the age group of 5-12 years traversing the globe, to feature 20 acts and more than 40 child artistes in the song.
Maati Baani has creatively used technology to recompose this song withoutactually meeting these children in person. By means of technology and the love for music, the band has taken the wonderful initiative of bringing music buffers on asingle, virtual platform and creates awareness for the war sufferers. The new adaptation of ‘Heal the World’ is a dedication to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson and inventiveness by Maati Baani to pause the acts of terror campaigns.
‘Heal the world’ is a song dedicated to children living in countries facing wars from terrorism. The lyrics in every possible way reflect the grievances that children suffer due to such conflicts and the way it hampers their growth and well being. The upcoming song is unique fuse of musical tunes and features the passion of young buds for the common aim of bringing harmony to the world. Composed in a span of over six months with child prodigies all over the world completely through the internet, Maati Baani has inventively portrayed the simplicity and innocence of children which will no doubt be soul stirring.

Yes. I have appeared in the play ADRAK KE PANJE which had a world record of running for more than 20 years.I have also acted in many more films earlier viz.GUARDIANS which had released two years ago.Then I played the male lead in Bhojpuri super hit film KAHE GAYE PARDES PIYA. In this film I played a cop whose name was Ansh. In the true sense of Indian culture and family traditions, this film was well reeived in Bihar and UP where crores of people have watched this film. I have also taken part in music videos such as AMMANEH and SHARMILI NAZAR.Then I have acted in one more film BELAGAAM in a negative role and got lots of critical acclaim . Even the audiences loved me in tbis role which was very intense and satisfied me very much as there were lots of shades in the character.

This was another gripping film with a social message. I won the Best Actor Award from the RK International Awards in Mumbai and I played the hero in this film. All my costars Divyaa,Anjali Rana,Nabonita,Ehsan Khan,Ali Asgar and Pappu Polister.The film was based on fashion industry and HIV patient.Alongside, I was also honoured by Reliance Awards for a Reality Show ‘Mele Ka Big Star. I have also taken part in many shows for Reliance Big Magic. Then I acted in the comedy series JAI MEIN HAIN ZINDAGI with my friend actors Pappu Polister and Deepraj Rana. Ali Asgar who comes in Comedy Shows with Kapil Sharma acted in this comedy show. The shooting was really fun and a new experience for me and the show was a huge success on National TV.
What is your role in ISHQ SAMUNDAR ?
I am playing the role of a very talented music coach who adores his wife and is very passionate towards his career. He is a man of upright character but then encounters an attractive young woman who falls for him. What happens later makes an interesting twist in the film which is full of suspense and director Anwar Ali has done a fantastic job as the director.Producer Ashok Shrivastava has also given full cooperation to the whole film and it was fun to shoot the scenes in Allahabad and Mumbai locales. We are having the premiere show of the film on 9th September in Allahabad.The film also costars Tanishq Tiwari,Divyaa in female leads alongwith Pramod Moutho,Ehsan Khan,Raju Shreshta,Tinaa Ghaai,Lilliput Fauuqui,K.K.Goswami and veteran dance master Saroj Khan. The fim is a musical, triangular love story spiced with an abundance of suspense and it is a different family social.

Having worked as an Associate Director with filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani on successful films including Munnabhai series and 3 Idiots, Rajesh made his directorial debut with Ferrari Ki Sawaari (2012), and now the writer-director is set to make his debut in Marathi film industry with Purple Pebble Pictures’ Marathi film, Ventilator.
Written and directed by Rajesh, Ventilator is a family entertainer featuring a sterling ensemble cast that includes veteran Marathi film and theater actors. The movie is currently into its post-production stage.

TV actress Shilpa Shinde, who shot to fame with Telly soap ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Pe Hain’, has a special naughty dance number in Sanjay Chhel’s upcoming cross-cultural family comedy PATEL KI PUNJABI SHAADI with feel good moments starring Rishi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vir Das, Payal Ghosh, etc. It’s a huge leap after her controversial TV career and instant popularity as hot ‘Bhabhiji’.
Says Shilpa a.k.a ‘Bhabhiji’, “After enough controversy that affected my repute, it was surprising to get a call from the makers of PATEL KI PUNJABI SHAADI. When I was offered the song I was like ‘I will have to shed some kilos’ as I haven’t done dance numbers before, but the PKPS team didn’t have enough time and wanted to shoot immediately. They briefed me about the concept and I was okay with it. I thought if I let go off this opportunity, it might not get it again, especially to dance along with such a stalwart Rishi Kapoor ji. I think I was destined to do it. Moreover, PKPS was such a good team to work with right from the producer to the stars to director, the film title also sounds good. The name PATEL KI PUNJABI SHAADI is so vibrant.”
Ask Shilpa if the controversy worked in her favour and she laughs off, “Yes it’s good for me. I was really upset when I had to quit <i>Bhabhiji</i>. People used to tag me as ‘News Queen’…But I am an actress and my desire is always to do something where I can creatively contribute. So when I got this song, I was more than happy. Moreover, this song didn’t demand me to be skinny or acquire a particular body. All I had to do is give my best shot. It wasn’t a demeaning song which only demands skin show. Since PKPS is a family comedy drama and it was so comfortable working with such a great team, I was game for it.”
She adds, “It’s is a cute, nice, funny, situational song which comes after interval and goes well in synch with the storyline. It isn’t there out of place. People will surely enjoy it.”
While writer and director Sanjay Chhel says why did he opt for Shilpa, “The song required a hot woman with innocent face and Shilpa is apt for it. She is a male fantasy yet she is popular with her family image! It’s a great combo of sex symbol & Sanskari image.”
PATEL KI PUNJABI SHAADI is produced by Bharat Patel and ready to release this year.
