About House of Gods:
Do we have any meaningful control over our own lives or are we mere puppets dangling from the strings maneuvered by an ever-powerful entity? This is the proverbial and insistent question Deepak Mer has asked through his paintings – House of Gods.
Peer closely and you will discover a host of images hiding within/behind other images. It is a wonderful maze, a labyrinth of consciousness taking you to places the mind finds hard to fathom with its limited span of attention.
Some paintings will reveal the Kundalini Shakti, some the Nag bandha, another will depict something as simple as a compass. However, simple or complex the painting seems to be, it will always lure you to gaze and will divulge you secrets that at first defy the eye.
The main subjects are the figurines which are human bodies seemingly suspended in the air, using telling gestures, making you wonder whether they are asking the proverbial yet timeless question that man has still not been able to answer: “Does destiny exist? Is it all fated in the end? Or can we influence fate’s maneuvers? Should we live by our own rules or would romancing the Gods cut a better deal?” After all, the mystery of what we are meant to do here is yet to be deciphered.
All works are an enthralling concoction of the artist’s keen attention to detail and reveal a curious mind, a vivid imagination and his trademark talent of treading the unbeaten path. The paintings are a proud display of skill with the entire range of media available in terms of shades and hues and are the epitome of the ‘multi-layered’ genre in painting, in the end, creating a beautiful spectrum of textures and surfaces. And, thereby, hangs a tale.
This collection is Deepak’s most celebrated series and has enjoyed patronage over the years, so much so that some of these paintings are now adorning the walls in several countries other than India.

गणतंत्र दिवस पर पूर्व एसीपी मुंबई पुलिस की बेटी, श्री दत्तात्रेय भरगुडे, दादर (पश्चिम) मुंबई में स्थित डॉ. भाग्यश्री के ब्रांड न्यू डेंटल क्लिनिक एंड इंप्लांट सेंटर का उद्घाटन श्री रोनी रोड्रिग्स (पर्ल ग्रुप ऑफ के हेड ऑनको) द्वारा भव्य अंदाज में किया गया। कंपनियों और सिनेबस्टर मैगज़ीन के प्रकाशक प्रधान संपादक) के रूप में उन्होंने पूरे कार्यक्रम की मेजबानी की। उद्घाटन के दौरान उनकी टीम मौजूद थी। उन्होंने डॉ भाग्यश्री को फूलों के विशाल गुलदस्ते के साथ बधाई दी और उन्हें शुभकामनाएं दीं। क्लिनिक का उद्घाटन डॉ. भाग्यश्री के माता-पिता और उनके गुरु डॉ. प्रदीप जोशी और डॉ. उदय शेट्टी के अलावा मीडियाकर्मी भी मौजूद थे।
इस क्लिनिक में कई दंत चिकित्सा सेवाएं उपलब्ध हैं जैसे कि दांतों की सफाई, क्राउन और ब्रिज, दंत प्रत्यारोपण, दांतों की सफेदी, पूर्ण दांत, गम उपचार, मुस्कान डिजाइनिंग और बदलाव, कॉस्मेटिक दंत चिकित्सा, ऑर्थोडोंटिक उपचार, छोटी मौखिक सर्जरी, आरसीटी/री आरसीटी आदि।
डॉ. भाग्यश्री श्री रोड्रिग्स द्वारा की गई व्यवस्थाओं से अभिभूत थीं। उन्होंने कहा, “मैं रॉनी सर की बहुत आभारी हूं, उन्होंने मुझे एक बड़ा सरप्राइज दिया है। उनका आशीर्वाद हमेशा मेरे साथ है। किन्हीं कारणों से वह यहां नहीं आए लेकिन उन्होंने अपनी टीम के सदस्यों के साथ अपना प्यार यहां भेजा है। रॉनी जी यहां पूरा इंटीरियर डिजाइन किया है और कार्यक्रम की मेजबानी की है।” संयोग से इंटीरियर डिजाइन श्री रोनी रोड्रिग्स की कंपनियों में से एक, पीबीसी इंटीरियर एंड डिजाइनर प्राइवेट लिमिटेड द्वारा किया जाता है।
डॉ. भाग्यश्री ने आगे कहा २०१५ में मैंने अपनी स्नातक की डिग्री प्राप्त की, उसके बाद मैंने डॉ. प्रदीप जोशी के साथ कुछ वर्षों तक काम किया,
मैंने उनसे बहुत कुछ सीखा है। फिर पोस्ट ग्रेजुएशन के बाद, मैं डॉ उदय शेट्टी के क्लिनिक में शामिल हो गयी जहाँ मुझे व्यावहारिक प्रशिक्षण मिला। उनके साथ काम करने से मुझे काफी टेक्निकल नॉलेज मिली। और मैं उस सारे ज्ञान का उपयोग अपने क्लिनिक में करना चाहती हूं। अब दांतों के इलाज का सिस्टम बदल गया है, सब कुछ डिजिटल हो गया है। मैं दंत चिकित्सा देखभाल में नवीनता और सुविधा लाने का इरादा रखती हूं। मैं मसूड़ों के उपचार का विशेषज्ञ हूं।”
डॉ. भाग्यश्री ने आगे कहा, ‘मेरी कोशिश रहेगी कि मेरे क्लिनिक में आने वाले सभी मरीजों का इलाज इस तरह से हो कि वो सालों तक स्वस्थ रहें.’
डॉ. भाग्यश्री के मेंटर डॉ. उदय शेट्टी ने कहा, “डॉ. भाग्यश्री ने मेरे साथ कुछ वर्षों तक काम किया है। इलाज के मामले में उनका हाथ अच्छा है। वह जल्दी सीखती हैं और रोगियों के साथ बातचीत करते समय अच्छे व्यवहार करती हैं। उनका आत्मविश्वास उसके अभ्यास में परिलक्षित हुआ है। मैं उसके नए क्लिनिक और उसके भविष्य के प्रयासों के लिए उसे शुभकामनाएं देता हूं।”
मीडिया से बातचीत करते हुए डॉ. भाग्यश्री ने जवाब दिया, ”खान-पान में बदलाव के कारण आज लाइफ स्टाइल बदल गया है। दांतों और मसूड़ों को अच्छी स्थिति में रखने के बारे में जागरूकता। बेहतर दांतों और मसूड़ों के लिए रात को सोने से पहले और सुबह ब्रश करना जरूरी है। मेरे जीवन में मेरे पिता दत्तात्रेय भरगुडे का बहुत बड़ा सहयोग रहा है। उन्होंने मुझे हमेशा प्रेरित किया है और मेरा समर्थन किया है। भावनात्मक और आर्थिक रूप से भी। मैं खुद को बहुत खुशकिस्मत मानती हूं कि मुझे इतने सपोर्टिव और मजबूत माता-पिता मिले।”
डॉ. भाग्यश्री के पिता दत्तात्रेय भरगुडे मुंबई पुलिस के पूर्व एसीपी हैं। उन्होंने गर्व से कहा, “भाग्यश्री हमेशा से एक बहुत ही मेधावी छात्रा थी। उसे पढ़ाई का बहुत शौक था। उसकी प्रतिभा को देखकर मैंने उसे चिकित्सा क्षेत्र में दाखिला दिलाया और आज वह एक अच्छी दंत चिकित्सक बन गई है। उसने अपना क्लिनिक भी खोला है। अद्वितीय भाग्यश्री में जो प्रतिभा है, उसका उपयोग समाज की भलाई और सेवा के लिए किया जाना चाहिए। रॉनी रोड्रिग्स मेरे बहुत अच्छे दोस्त हैं, जो हमेशा समाज की भलाई के लिए खड़े रहते हैं। मैं उनके समर्थन के लिए तहे दिल से धन्यवाद देता हूं।”

A glitzy `Aqua Divine Swimwear Fashion Show’ – organized by Aneebee Entertainments – warmed up a very happening Kolkata evening as foreign and Kolkata models scorched the ramp at a high voltage event hosted by The Westin Rajarhat and outfit partner Skycrew by Malobika.
Showstopper Malobika Banerjee’s presence only confirmed that a swimwear fashion show in winter wasn’t at all out of place. As a run up to the summers, the Show was a sneak peek of interesting ideas to look forward to.
“The cloth and materials used for the artfully-designed swimwear has been made with reusable products and extinguished materials of different states in India. It has a strong connection with elements of pan-India ethnicity as well as local heritage,” says Malobika Banerjee of Sky Crew – actor, pop queen, singer, songwriter. She added that fashion is not only for looking gorgeous, it should be a huge social responsibility which affects society in very positive ways.
“Feminism isn’t about making women stronger. Women are already strong, it is about changing the way the world perceives their strength. Today’s event is an attempt to create a domino effect, to bring a change in the perspective on how women are looked upon at on the basis of their lifestyle and clothing. In this event, that is exactly what we plan to achieve, and hence the theme – `Amar Poshak Amar Decision’ – becomes relevant,” says fashionista and entrepreneur, Anita Dutta, CEO, Aneebee Entertainments.

संवाददाता सम्मेलन के दौरान भोजपुरी फिल्म अवार्ड कमेटी ने बताया कि कोरोना की महामारी के चलते भोजपुरी फिल्म अवार्ड 3 वर्ष से संपन्न नहीं हो पाया था। इसलिए 2019 और 20 में रिलीज फिल्मों को एक साथ क्लब करके और 2021 में रिलीज फिल्म को क्रमशः नियमानुसार एक ही बार में 3 वर्ष के अवार्ड संपन्न कराए गए.. जिसके आधार पर प्रमोद शास्त्री द्वारा निर्देशित दोनो फिल्म ‘छलिया’ और ‘प्यार तो होना ही था’ को संयुक्त रूप से 6 अवार्ड मिले..

Avak Films who are making their debut in Bollywood has announced the film Laal Rang 2. Actor Randeep Hooda returned his character sequel of the 2016 film Laal Rang. The Avak Film production house announced the second part of the movie through social media. Randeep will also be producing Laal Rang 2 along with Yogesh Rahar & Panchali Chakraverty. Randeep Hooda’s character Shankar spread his charm and completely absorbed us into his blood transfusion racket where he plays both the devil and savior and owned the screen with his spontaneity and rustic appearance.
Yogesh Rahar of Avak films, who has himself debuted as a producer, has been a diehard fan of Laal Rang and has spearheaded the effort for the sequel. Laal Rang 2 : Khoon Chusva is produced by Randeep Hooda Films, Avak Films & Jelly Bean Entertainment Co Produced by Anwar Ali and Sonu Kuntal. The film is slated to go on the floor soon. Yogesh Rahar said, “It’s a great pleasure to associate with Randeep Hooda & Panchali Chakravarty. It’s a dream comes true & thank you to Anwar Ali ji and Sonu kuntal for his love and support”.
Akshay Oberoi and Pia Bajpiee will reprise their roles from the first part and search is on for the new additions to the second part.
Laal Rang, set in Haryana is a dark humoured drama which revolved around the blood trade business involving sentiments of friendship, brotherhood, love and greed. The film’s magic lay in its fresh, quirky content, dialogues and memorable characters, particularly that of Shankar, immortalised by Randeep Hooda.
This also sees him joining hands once again with the director, Syed Ahmad Afzal. Randeep is currently on a career high with his recent series CAT that is winning audiences across the world. On asking the actor about the recent endeavour, Randeep said “Shankar Malik is one character that will always stay close to my heart, the film even after 7 years stays relevant & has a dedicated fan-base to it. This is what has compelled me to embark on this new journey as a producer too with a lot of joy and a sense of responsibility towards it.”
The director Syed Ahmed Afzal fresh from the super success of Shiksha Mandal web series had this to say about Laal Rang 2, “We are extremely excited to begin the madness again, the storyline is dark, murky and lays the perfect plinth for an enchanting film and we once again have a chance to deliver something memorable. The essence of the sequel shall remain akin to the original. This sequel will be darker, meaner, violent and yet funny.”

केसरिया को लेकर काफी उत्साहित संगीता तिवारी ने बताया कि यह काफी अलग तरह का गीत है जिसमें अमन कुमार के साथ केमिस्ट्री बड़ी खूबसूरत है। नेपाल की हसीन लोकेशन में इसकी शूटिंग का अनुभव कमाल का रहा है। मुझे उम्मीद है कि दर्शकों को यह वीडियो पसन्द आएगा।
