TV actors Vaquar Shaikh & Shweta Gulati will be seen in a short film titled MAGIC OF GIVING. Says Shahroze Sadath, the director of the film, “The surest way to happiness is giving. And this is exactly what my shirt film says. It has a really simple message of giving and helping others.”
Ask him how he managed to get Vaquar Shaikh & Shweta Gulati on board and he says, “I narrated the script to them and they were very impressed.
They agreed immediately.” The film will be launched at an event in Mumbai soon. Many popular names from the Film and TV industry are expected to grace the event.
Surkhaab is a movie that explores the underlying themes of globalization, cross immigration and women empowerment. Barkha plays the protagonist in the movie, a judo champion who goes to Canada alone to find a job.
The actress has performed her own stunts in the film and to keep her character real she even wore the same outfit throughout the film.
And as you’d know, Barkha Madan has recently become a Buddhist Monk and is a Dalai Lama follower. This is her last project as an actress. She has earlier worked in television shows and movies like Samay and Bhoot.
Not just that, she was also a Miss India finalist in 1984, the year that Sushmita Sen and Aishwarya Rai won big at the beauty pageant.
Synopsis: Surkhaab, begins with the story of Jeet (Barkha Madan), a state level Judo champ living in Punjab. In spite of hailing from a strong army background Jeet is unable to find a stable job and decides to run away to Canada to find a job. What follows is her inspiring journey to make a life for herself, protect herself and her family and deal with several unforeseen circumstances, in her run across her new country.

Cinevista’s TV serial ‘Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls’ is being broadcasted on &TV on Monday to Friday at 9 PM. The role of Binny in the serial is played by Shilpa Raizada from Madhya Pradesh.Shilpa potrays a comedy character who is a housewife with daily complaints. Shilpa has previously acted in serials like Hamari Devrani,Vir Shivaji, Krishnaben Khakhrewala etc.
But her role in serial ‘Jodha Akbar’ as Shahnaz Nigar is what brought her recognition both nationally and internationally. Speaking about her current role Shilpa Raizada says ” I have got a nice role in the serial. I am playing a role which depicts a typical Indian Bahu. In the role, I have complaints with almost everything. For example I tell my husband that he works just 8 hours a day and she works 24 hours without pay and recognition. I am a complaint box with a comedy touch, which viewers are enjoying.”-

Film on eunuchs’3rd Man – Na Raja Na Rani’ to release in May
Eunuchs (kinnar) were always shown in side roles in mainstream cinema. Now, they are going to star in a movie ‘3rd Man – Na Raja Na Rani’, produced and directed by South based H. M. Imran.
Made in Hindi and Telugu, the movie will release in May 2015. A lot of Kinnars from all over India have acted in the movie. H. M.Imran says “I went to all major metro cities to to speak to the Kinnars and write a story. This is an inclusive story of Kinnars, including their lives, food, spending behaviour etc. People will be surprised to see the movie.”.
“Friend- Tere Jaisa Yaar Kahan” based on children neglected by their parents
Navdeep Film creative made Hindi movie, “Friend -Tere Jaisa Yaar Kahan” based on children neglected by their parents is produced by Raju Pachghare. The story and dialogues are by Anoop Shrivastava, who has written stories from 36 movies. He has also done dialogues and screenplays for movies. The director is Jagadish watharkar who has also directed Marathi movies.
“Friend- Tere Jaisa Yaar Kahan” is story of two friends and their friendship.One of them is Sanjay(Chinmay Deshakar), who the only son of high profile rich builder Amit Shah (Sameer Dharmadhikari) and his wife Awani Shah(Vrushali Hatalkar).
Both do not have time for their son who brief ends an orphan salim(Saipraneeth). The orphanage is run by father Francis (Kamal Kamaraju) who loves the children as his own. This changes Sanjay’s life, which is depicted in the movie.
Chinmay Deshakar is the main lead and has been frost seen in Zee TV’s reality show “India’s best dramebaaz.’ He says “I am playing the role of a rich kid who’s parents do not have time for him. I live like an orphan inspire of having parents. I meet a friend from an orphanage and the life changes for better. When there is friendship, religion, castes etc are immaterial.”
Producer Raju Pachghare has a publications company and he has produced a marathi movie “Pudhchi Samrat.’ He says “today’s parents are busy and the childhood of their children is spoiled. They just give money for their upbringing without taking care. I am trying to spread the message via the film.”
Jagadish watharkar has directed Marathi movies like ‘Pudhchi Samrat’ and ‘Saang Saang Gagaram’. “Entire family should watch this movie. Only then they will understand that the children are suffering because of their carelessness. This is a mirror of todays world. We are trying to make this movie tax free.” Jagadish watharkar says.
Recently, the film received the best Childrens movie Award & film’s Child artist Chinmay Deshakar has won Best Child Actor Jury Award in 7th Nashik International film Festival. “Friend- Tere Jaisa Yaar Kahan” is scheduled for release in May 2015.Its Produced by Raju Pachghare and directed by Jagadish watharkar.
