The inauguration ceremony of the solo exhibition of renowned painter Rupesh Patil “Pristine Harmony – Nature Unveiled Through Wash and Stroke” was held with great enthusiasm at Jehangir Art Gallery. The exhibition was inaugurated by Maharashtra Culture Minister Ashish Shelar. Uran Assembly Constituency MLA Mahesh Baldi was present on the occasion.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by dignitaries from various fields. These included Nitesh Rane (Minister, Port Development, Government of Maharashtra) as well as Mahesh Baldi, Gaurav Dayal (Chairman, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority), Nilesh Khare (Editor-in-Chief – Sakal Media Group, COO – Saam TV), Ajay Saini (Managing Director, GCC Hotel & Club), Surendra Jagtap (Principal, J. A special attraction of the event was the unveiling of the first painting from the upcoming series ‘Swarajyasurya’ by painter Rupesh Patil and painter Jitendra Gaikwad. This is the first painting in a series of 21 paintings based on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and it vividly depicts the grand procession that took place after Shivaji Maharaj’s coronation.
The exhibition “Pristine Harmony” showcases captivating sunsets, reflections in tranquil ponds, and realistic and sensitive depictions of the emotions of nature. The main features of the exhibition are the use of light and shadow, the variety of colors, and the vivid depiction of rural life.
The exhibition is being held from March 17 to March 23, and is open to all art lovers free of charge from 11 am to 7 pm daily.

Arham Khan is the son of Ustad Ayyub Khan, himself a dedicated Sarangi Player, and the nephew of Sarangi Sultan Ustad Kamal Sabri, an internationally acclaimed maestro known for his innovative approach, global collaborations, and deep commitment to keeping the sarangi relevant in contemporary musical discourse.
Growing up in such an extraordinary musical environment, Arham was naturally immersed in the rich soundscape of raga, tala, and nuanced improvisation from an early age.
Under the guidance of his elders and inspired by the monumental achievements of his grandfather and uncle, Arham has begun shaping his own musical identity while remaining deeply rooted in classical discipline.

Mumbai: The grand launch of the “Har Ghar Ramayana” campaign (National Program), organized with the objective of reviving Indian culture, values, and the story of Rama, took place with great reverence and dignity on February 5, 2026, at the Mayor Hall, Juhu Lane, Andheri (West), Mumbai.
The special presence of Acharya Shri Satyanarayan Das Ji Maharaj (Ramkunj, Ayodhya) elevated the program to spiritual heights.
The program included cultural and intellectual presentations by many distinguished personalities, including Padma Shri Dr. Soma Ghosh, Shri Ashok Sinha, Shri Pankaj Kumar, Ms. Tia Kishori, and Ms. Priyanka Chauhan, whose performances deeply moved the audience.

The programme was accompanied by a musical tribute titled “Santwani & LATA HRYDAY – In Reverence to Lata Didi,” convened by Manisha Nischals Mehak Concerts.
Organised in association with Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital & Research Center, the ceremony paid homage not only to the legendary voice that defined generations of Indian music, but also to the spirit of service that Lata Mangeshkar championed throughout her life.
The medical award recognised distinguished doctors and healthcare professionals whose dedication to patient care reflected those same humanitarian ideals.
This year, the Foundation presented its first Bharat Ratna Lata Dinanath Mangeshkar Vaidyakratna Award to Dr. (Prof.) S. Rajshekaran, Chairman, GANGA Hospital, Coimbatore.

हा कार्यक्रम संत ज्ञानेश्वर माऊली, संत तुकाराम, संत कबीर, संत सूरदास आणि संत मीराबाई यांच्या अजरामर काव्यांवर आधारित होता. लता दीदींनी या संतवाणीला दिलेल्या स्वरांमधून प्रेरणा घेऊन साकारलेली ही संगीतांजली अत्यंत भावस्पर्शी ठरली.
कार्यक्रमाचा मुख्य सांस्कृतिक भाग म्हणजे “संतवाणी आणि लता हृदय” ही भक्तिमय आणि शास्त्रीय संगीतातील आदरांजली होती. या सादरीकरणात पं. हृदयनाथ मंगेशकर आणि विद्यावाचस्पती पं. शंकर अभ्यंकर यांचे निरूपण झाले.
या कार्यक्रमात विभावरी जोशी, मनिषा निश्चल, श्रेयसी पावगी, प्राची देवल आणि ऋतुजा तारे या गायिकांनी सहभाग घेतला.

मुंबई से 12,000 से 15,000 प्रवासी श्रमिकों को सुरक्षित उनके पैतृक गांव प्रतापगढ़ एवं आसपास के जिलों तक पहुंचाना, बेघर लोगों के लिए भोजन और आवास की व्यवस्था करना—ऐसे कार्यों ने उन्हें समाज सेवा का अग्रदूत बना दिया।
अवार्ड समारोह के दौरान कोविड काल में अरुण मिश्रा द्वारा किए गए समाजसेवी कार्यों पर आधारित वीडियो जब विशाल स्क्रीन पर प्रदर्शित किया गया, तो खचाखच भरे सभागार में मौजूद दर्शक भावुक हो उठे। वीडियो समाप्त होते ही तालियों की गड़गड़ाहट ने पूरे हॉल को गूंजायमान कर दिया, जो उनकी लोकप्रियता और सम्मान का प्रतीक था।

Noida, India: The 19th International Festival of Cellphone Cinema was inaugurated with great enthusiasm and global spirit at Marwah Studios, marking another historic milestone in the journey of mobile filmmaking. The prestigious festival was inaugurated by Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Senior Member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and former Union Minister, in the distinguished presence of eminent personalities from the worlds of cinema, media, industry, and literature.
The august gathering included Gopal Jiwarjka, CMD of Salora International; renowned actor Abhinav Chaturvedi; senior journalist and Editor of AfroAsian Business Chronicle, Renu Malhotra; and Dr Diwakar Sukul from London.
Addressing the audience, Dr Sandeep Marwah, Founder of Noida Film City and President of Marwah Studios, spoke passionately about the extraordinary journey of the International Festival of Cellphone Cinema. He shared how the movement of mobile filmmaking grew from a bold experiment into a global phenomenon, earning him the internationally acknowledged title of “Father of Cellphone Cinema.” Dr Marwah emphasized that this festival is recognized as the first-ever international festival of mobile films in the world, setting benchmarks in innovation, accessibility, and creative freedom.
While reflecting on the global evolution of cellphone cinema, Dr Marwah fondly remembered the invaluable contribution of Prof. Karl Bardosh, whose vision and academic support helped bring worldwide recognition to the genre. मुंबई में आयोजित भारत इंटरनेशनल फ़िल्म फेस्टिवल 2025-26 में सिनेमा और सामाजिक सरोकारों को समर्पित फिल्मों को सम्मानित किया गया। इस प्रतिष्ठित समारोह में फिल्म ‘अपना अमिताभ’ को बेस्ट फ़िल्म कैटेगरी में अवार्ड प्रदान किया गया, वहीं सामाजिक मुद्दों पर सशक्त फिल्म निर्माण के लिए फिल्म निर्माता विकास शर्मा को आइकॉनिक भारत गौरव पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया
यह भव्य आयोजन 31 जनवरी को मुंबई स्थित मेयर हॉल, जुहू में संपन्न हुआ, जिसमें फिल्म जगत की कई जानी-मानी हस्तियों, निर्माता-निर्देशकों, कलाकारों और कला प्रेमियों की उपस्थिति रही।

मुम्बई. गणतंत्र दिवस के अवसर पर डॉ कृष्णा चौहान द्वारा राष्ट्रीय रत्न सम्मान 2026 का आयोजन 26 जनवरी को किया. ये इस अवॉर्ड का 5वां साल रहा. यह समारोह 26 जनवरी को मुंबई के मेयर हॉल में हुआ जहाँ कई सिलेब्रिटीज के हाथों अवार्डी को राष्ट्रीय रत्न सम्मान 2026 से नवाजा गया।

मुंबई: बाल कलाकार Mudra Mahesh Jadhav, महज़ 5 वर्ष की उम्र में, अभिनय की दुनिया में एक सशक्त पहचान बना रही हैं। उन्होंने Green World Media Production के बैनर तले बनी वेब सीरीज़ “घर की रौनक” में मुख्य लीड चाइल्ड आर्टिस्ट की भूमिका निभाकर सभी का ध्यान अपनी ओर खींचा है।
कम उम्र के बावजूद Mudra ने अपने किरदार में जो मासूमियत, सच्चाई और भावनात्मक गहराई दिखाई है, वह काबिल-ए-तारीफ है। उनकी परफॉर्मेंस कहानी की आत्मा को मजबूती देती है और दर्शकों से भावनात्मक जुड़ाव बनाती है।

Breath of The Infinite
A Group show of Paintings by five contemporary renowned artists – Chetan Katigar, Dinesh Kumar Parmar, Pradip Kumar Sau, Ranjit Kurmi, Santosh Kumar Sandilya will be displayed at JMD Art Gallery, J-109, Ansa Industrial Estate, Saki Naka, Andheri(West), Mumbai from 16th to 31st January 2026 between 11am to 7pm.
Santosh Kumar Sandilya paints Kashi not as a picturesque city but as a living cosmology, where architecture, river, boats, and human ritual are bound into one breathing organism. Working with Ganga -jal as both medium and meaning, his layered ghats turn Varanasi into a site where faith, time, and everyday life flow through the same visual bloodstream.
Ranjit Kurmi’s abstraction moves like a charged weather system; bands of colour collide, fracture, and recombine, producing a painterly turbulence that feels both lyrical and volatile. His canvases hold the tension between structure and release, where pigment behaves like memory in motion rather than fixed form.
Chetan Katigar builds a lush narrative theatre where myth, music, flora, and human presence fold into a single ornamental rhythm, giving devotional storytelling the pulse of contemporary colour. His figurative worlds feel ceremonial yet intimate, where Krishna, musicians, animals, and forest become a single breathing choreography rather than separate motifs.
Pradip Kumar Sau constructs a metaphysical theatre in blue, where floating heads, ascending triangles amidst celestial bodies, and drifting bodies map the human mind’s restless pull between gravity and transcendence. His paintings stage the psyche as a dream-space in which the finite body strains toward an infinite, luminous elsewhere.
Dinesh Parmar composes memory like a palimpsest; layered fields of colour, fractured faces, and symbolic geometry drifting through one another as if time itself were being slowly repainted. His mixed-media surfaces feel archaeological, where emotion, history, and private myth surface and dissolve in the same breath.

कृतज्ञता आणि सामाजिक जबाबदारीच्या भावनेतून साथी द यूथ फाउंडेशन तर्फे मुंबईतील प्रसिद्ध श्री सिद्धिविनायक मंदिरातील कर्मचाऱ्यांचा सत्कार समारंभ आयोजित करण्यात आला. भक्तांची सेवा, स्वच्छता, शिस्त आणि मंदिराची व्यवस्था सुरळीत ठेवण्यासाठी अहोरात्र मेहनत करणाऱ्या कर्मचाऱ्यांचा या कार्यक्रमात सन्मान करण्यात आला.
श्री सिद्धिविनायक मंदिर हे मुंबईतील एक अत्यंत श्रद्धेचे ठिकाण असून दररोज हजारो भाविक येथे दर्शनासाठी येतात. मंदिरातील सुव्यवस्था आणि शिस्त राखण्यामागे कर्मचाऱ्यांचे मोठे योगदान असते. मात्र त्यांचे काम अनेकदा लक्षात येत नाही. अशा कर्मचाऱ्यांना सन्मान देण्यासाठी साथी द यूथ फाउंडेशनने हा उपक्रम राबवला.

Report Highlights Demand for Predictable, Market-Aligned Crypto Tax Framework
Ahead of the upcoming Union Budget in February, CoinSwitch has released insights from a nationwide survey capturing investor sentiment on the taxation and regulation of crypto (Virtual Digital Assets – VDAs) in India.
The survey indicates a high level of awareness of India’s current crypto taxation framework. Nearly 90% of respondents reported familiarity with key provisions, including the 30% tax on gains, the absence of loss set-off or carry-forward, and the 1% TDS on transactions. Despite this awareness, a majority of respondents expressed concerns regarding the perceived fairness of the current framework. 66% believe the current crypto tax structure is unfair.
Commenting on this Mr Ashish Singhal, Co-founder of CoinSwitch, says, “The survey shows that investors are not seeking tax exemptions, but rationalisation. Respondents favour lower tax rates, loss set-off provisions, reduced TDS, and clearer regulations aligned with established financial markets. The findings indicate that investors are informed, willing to comply, and seeking a fair and predictable framework. As the Union Budget approaches, rationalising crypto taxation and providing regulatory clarity can support compliant onshore participation and contribute to a more transparent and well-regulated digital asset ecosystem.”
Taxation is also influencing market behaviour. A majority of respondents (59%) reported reduced participation in crypto investing or trading due to the prevailing tax regime. This trend suggests that the current tax structure appears to be influencing participation patterns, with potential implications for trading volumes, liquidity, and onshore market activity.
In contrast, 17% indicated increased participation, while 16% said taxation had no impact on their activity. At the same time, these segments of respondents reported stable or increased participation despite the tax regime. This suggests that some investors are adopting longer-term investment approaches, placing greater value on regulatory certainty than short-term tax considerations.
A majority of respondents favour integrating crypto into India’s mainstream financial taxation system. 61% believe crypto should be taxed similarly to equities or mutual funds. 17% prefer a separate tax framework. This reflects a preference for treatment aligned with established financial instruments.
When it comes to information sources, respondents primarily rely on crypto platforms and exchanges (30%), followed by news media (27%) and social media (25%) for updates on crypto and taxation. This highlights the role of platforms in investor education and the importance of consistent, authoritative regulatory communication.
Beyond taxation, the survey highlights the importance of broader regulatory clarity. Over 80% of respondents consider clear regulation to be important, with 60% rating it as extremely important, underscoring the view that tax reform alone is insufficient to build long-term investor confidence.
Overall, policy sentiment captured in the survey leans towards enablement, with 51% of respondents believing that crypto should be encouraged as a new asset class in India.

Kan Singh Sodha’s Zorr, produced by KSS Production and Entertainment and releasing in theatres on February 6, unveiled its much-awaited trailer at a high-energy launch event that also saw the release of the film’s promotional title track ‘Zorr Ka Dhakka.’ The film will be distributed pan India by UFO, marking a strong nationwide theatrical push for the horror-comedy.
Composed by Raju Singh, the song features an eclectic mix of voices including Leslee Lewis, Raju Singh, Mujtaba Aziz Naza, Pinky Maidasani, Kan Singh Sodha and Himanshu Chowdhary, adding musical punch to the film’s quirky horror tone. The lyrics are penned by Dr. (Hon) Anusha Srinivasan Iyer, while music production has been handled by Himanshu Chowdhary and Raju Singh. The track sets the mood for the film with its edgy beats and playful eeriness, perfectly capturing the spirit of chaos that defines Zorr.

5वें बॉलीवुड महा आरोग्य शिविर में हजारों लोगों ने स्वास्थ्य लाभ लिए जैसे जनरल हेल्थ चेकअप, व्हीलचेयर वितरण, आंखों की जांच और चश्मे का वितरण, ब्लड चेकअप, डेंटल, ईएंटी, जनरल सर्जरी, गायनेकोलॉजिस्ट, यूरोलॉजिस्ट, डर्मेटोलॉजी, कैंसर, बच्चों के हेल्थ चेकअप, एक्स-रे, BMD, BMI, मैमोग्राफी, दवाएं, 5 लाख हेल्थ कार्ड. मुंबई के प्रीमियम अस्पतालों के डॉक्टरों और पैरामेडिकल टीम द्वारा इस शिविर को सपोर्ट मिला. इस फ्री मेडिकल कैंप में 56 हजार मरीजों ने लाभ लिया, 1200 व्हील चेयर, 13 हजार आँखों की जांच और चश्मे का वितरण किया गया. 2.5 करोड़ रुपये की दवाएं वितरित की गई. 58 सर्जिकल पेशेंट्स का पता चला. 13 हजार डायबिटीज टेस्ट और 21 हजार ब्लड टेस्ट हुए साथ ही 200 मैमोग्राफी, 525 इसीजी, 900 बीएमडी हुआ. इसमे 800 से ज्यादा डॉक्टर्स और 1100 से ज्यादा पैरामेडिकल स्टाफ के साथ 300 वोलंटियर का सहयोग प्राप्त हुआ.
डॉ धर्मेंद्र कुमार ने बताया कि महामारी के बाद से फिल्म इंडस्ट्री से जुड़े लोगों के लिए ये खास आरोग्य शिविर का आयोजन हम पांच वर्षों से करते आ रहे हैं. इस से मीडिया से जुड़े लोग और उनके परिवार वाले भी लाभ लेते हैं. हम मुख्य अतिथि शिल्पा शेट्टी सहित सभी गेस्ट्स का आभार व्यक्त करते हैं.
अतिथियों ने डॉ धर्मेंद्र कुमार का ये प्रयास सराहनीय बताया. सबसे ज्यादा फ्री मेगा मेडिकल कैंप करने के कारण उनकी संस्था ने वर्ल्ड रिकार्ड मे भी नाम दर्ज करवाया है.
डीआरवीए चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट पिछले 15 वर्षों से कार्यरत है. ट्रस्ट के अध्यक्ष डॉ धर्मेंद्र कुमार का लक्ष्य है कि हम सब मिलकर एक स्वस्थ, सशक्त और प्रगतिशील समाज की दिशा में काम करते रहेंगे।
उल्लेखनीय है कि अब तक डॉ धर्मेंद्र कुमार के मार्गदर्शन में कुल 9781 मेडिकल कैम्प का आयोजन किया गया है जिससे एक करोड़ 96 लाख मरीजों को लाभ मिला, 11 लाख से अधिक सिकल सेल्स की जांच और 22 हजार मरीजों का इलाज हुआ. 12 लाख टीबी पेशेंट्स की जांच और दवाएं, 80 हजार टीबी मरीजों को न्यूट्रीशन किट दिया गया. 3 लाख लोगों की आँखों की जांच जबकि 1.8 लाख चश्मे वितरित किए गए. 92 हजार व्हीलचेयर का वितरण किया गया जबकि अब तक कुल 11 हजार लोगों की सर्जरी करवाई गई है.

मुम्बई. हिन्दी फिल्म “चक्कर चवन्नी का” का ट्रेलर मुम्बई के इम्पा थिएटर में लॉन्च किया गया. निर्माता डॉ अरविंद दीक्षित और मिसेज रामा दीक्षित हैं जबकि निर्देशक डी. पी. सिंह (देव) हैं. डॉ अरविंद दीक्षित इस सिनेमा के लेखक भी है. डीओपी अकरम खान, एडिटर मोहम्मद सोहेल हैं. दीक्षित फिल्म प्रॉडक्शन के बैनर तले बनी फिल्म का नाम जितना यूनिक और कॉमेडी भरा है पिक्चर की कहानी भी उतनी ही रोचक है.
डिजि फिल्मिंग के समर के. मुखर्जी का विशेष आभार प्रकट किया गया जिनका इस पिक्चर को बनाने में बहुत सहयोग रहा. इस अवसर पर साउथ एक्ट्रेस सांची राय भी गेस्ट के रूप में मौजूद रहीं जिन्होंने ट्रेलर की प्रशंसा की.
फिल्म के मुख्य कलाकारों में प्रिओम गुज्जर, जान्हवी चौहान, जाहिद एम शाह, सुनीता चौहान, रमेश गोयल, दीपू श्रीवास्तव, राज मल्होत्रा, अंजुम खान, नवीन स्टीफन, रिंकू रंगीला का नाम उल्लेखनीय है. फिल्म के ट्रेलर लांच पर प्रोड्यूसर सहित कई मेहमान भी मौजूद थे. सभी ने फिल्म के ट्रेलर की सराहना की. फिल्म के निर्माता ने कहा कि फिल्म की कहानी हर मोड़ पर रहस्य से भरी है.
कॉमेडियन दीपू श्रीवास्तव ने स्टेज पर कॉमेडी की उन्होंने फिल्म में अच्छा रोल भी निभाया है. रमेश गोयल ने भी फिल्म में बेहतरीन काम किया है. फिल्म के डिस्ट्रीब्यूटर राकेश भदोरिया भी इस मौके पर मौजूद थे. संगीतकार दिलीप सेन ने भी यहां अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज करवाई.
बता दें कि निर्देशक डी पी सिंह (देव) एक हिंदी फिल्म बेलगाम बना चुके हैं. उन्होंने फिल्म के प्रोड्यूसर डॉ अरविंद दीक्षित के सहयोग का विशेष ज़िक्र किया जिनके सहयोग के बिना यह सम्भव नहीं था।
निर्माता डॉ अरविंद दीक्षित ने कहा कि फिल्म क्षेत्र में ये मेरा पहला कदम है. समर मुखर्जी का संपर्क सोशल मीडिया से मिला. इनके इंस्टीट्यूट से सीखा, काफी कठिन काम लगा. हिन्दी साहित्य का प्रवक्ता हूं कॉलेज का प्रधानाचार्य हूं. समर जी ने मेरी लिखी कहानी पसन्द की. मैं आध्यात्मिक व्यक्ति हूं. मैं गुरु को भगवान का दर्जा देता हूँ. परिस्थितियों के अनुकूल न होने के बावजूद और कम संसाधनों के बावज़ूद फिल्म बनाने का निर्णय लिया. डायरेक्टर देव जी मिले जिनका स्वभाव अच्छा लगा. 11 सितम्बर से राजस्थान में शूटिंग शुरू की. सभी कलाकारों ने उस धूप और गर्मी को बर्दाश्त किया. मै शंकर भगवान को बहुत मानता हूँ. ईश्वर की मर्जी से ही हर काम होता है. सौभाग्य है कि फिल्म अब रिलीज होने तक पहुँच गई है और 6 फरवरी को सिनेमाघरों मे रिलीज होगी.
निर्देशक देव जी ने सभी अतिथियों का स्वागत किया और कहा कि डॉ. साहब ने खुली आजादी दी. डीओपी ने बहुत अच्छा काम किया. सभी कलाकारों ने शानदार एक्ट किया टीम वर्क के कारण फिल्म बन पाई.
फिल्म के डायलॉग बहुत अच्छे हैं “प्रभु भाव के भूखे हैं घि के नहीं”.
धड़कनो की सुन और टाइटल गीत अच्छा है. फिल्म मे निर्माता निर्देशक ने अभिनय भी किया है.
समर के. मुखर्जी ने कहा कि ट्रेलर देखकर फिल्म देखने की इच्छा हो रही है. फिल्म बनाने के लिए पैसे की नहीं जुनून की जरुरत होती है और डॉक्टर दीक्षित जी को ढेर सारी बधाईयाँ. उन्होने बेहतर प्रयास किया है.

भोजपुरी सिनेमा प्रेमियों के लिए एक बड़ी खुशखबरी है। बहुप्रतीक्षित भोजपुरी फ़िल्म ‘उमा (UMA)’ आगामी 6 फ़रवरी 2026 को पूरे भारत के सिनेमाघरों में एक साथ रिलीज़ होने जा रही है। इस फ़िल्म को लेकर दर्शकों में पहले से ही खासा उत्साह देखने को मिल रहा है।
फ़िल्म ‘उमा’ का निर्माण जाने-माने फिल्म निर्माता रत्नाकर कुमार ने किया है, जबकि इसकी कहानी और निर्देशन की ज़िम्मेदारी अनंजय रघुराज ने संभाली है। फ़िल्म की सह-निर्माता निवेदिता कुमार हैं। इसे रत्नाकर कुमार और जितेंद्र गुलाटी द्वारा प्रस्तुत किया गया है और फ़िल्म का बैनर वर्ल्डवाइड रिकॉर्ड्स लिमिटेड है।

गया (बेलागंज)। कोरमा प्रेतशिला मैदान में गुरुवार को बेलागंज विधानसभा क्षेत्र की लोकप्रिय विधायक मनोरमा देवी के नेतृत्व में जनता अभिनंदन समारोह सह कंबल वितरण कार्यक्रम का भव्य आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ प्रातः 11:00 बजे हुआ, जिसमें बेलागंज विधानसभा के विभिन्न इलाकों से 25,000 से अधिक लोग शामिल हुए। कार्यक्रम में बड़ी संख्या में महिलाएं, पुरुष एवं वृद्धजन उपस्थित रहे।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान विधायक मनोरमा देवी एवं उनके पुत्र, युवा समाजसेवी रॉकी यादव द्वारा जरूरतमंदों के बीच कंबल का वितरण किया गया। कंबल प्राप्त करने के उपरांत सभी आगंतुकों के लिए मकर संक्रांति के अवसर पर दही-चूड़ा एवं तिलकुट का सामूहिक भोज भी कराया गया। इस मानवीय पहल से ठंड के मौसम में लोगों के चेहरों पर खुशी और सुकून साफ झलकता रहा। उपस्थित लोगों ने विधायक एवं उनके परिवार के प्रति आभार व्यक्त करते हुए दुआएं दीं।
इस अवसर पर विधायक मनोरमा देवी ने कहा कि बेलागंज विधानसभा की जनता ने जिस विश्वास के साथ उन्हें अपना मत देकर विजयी बनाया है, उसी विश्वास की जिम्मेदारी को निभाते हुए वे जाड़ा, गर्मी, बरसात—हर सुख-दुख में जनता के साथ खड़ी रहेंगी। उन्होंने कहा कि जनसेवा ही उनका संकल्प है और जनता की भलाई के लिए वे निरंतर प्रयासरत रहेंगी।
वहीं युवा समाजसेवी रॉकी यादव ने कहा कि वे हमेशा आम लोगों के बीच रहते हैं और उनकी समस्याओं को करीब से समझते हैं। ठंड के मौसम को देखते हुए मकर संक्रांति के पावन अवसर पर जरूरतमंदों को कंबल वितरण तथा दही-चूड़ा व तिलकुट का भोज कराने का यह छोटा-सा प्रयास किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि बेलागंज विधानसभा के कोने-कोने से आए लोगों का स्नेह और आशीर्वाद उनके लिए सबसे बड़ी प्रेरणा है। वे निस्वार्थ भाव से सेवा करते रहेंगे और अनर्गल बातों से दूर रहकर विकास की राजनीति करेंगे—और विकास करके दिखाएंगे।

In the works of Sajal Kanti Mitra, figuration and abstraction exist in a continuous, deliberate dialogue. His paintings unfold within a threshold space where faces, bodies, and gestures momentarily emerge from layered fields of colour, only to recede again into atmosphere and rhythm. Rather than offering linear narratives, the works propose states of becoming, images held in suspension, as if caught between thought and emotion.
Mitra’s visual language is rooted in an urban consciousness, yet it is tempered by an inward, almost musical lyricism. The recurring female forms across his canvases function less as portraits and more as presences, self-contained, introspective, and quietly resonant. Their elongated physiognomies and gently fractured planes evoke relational memory, suggesting how identities are shaped through closeness, distance, and unspoken exchange rather than fixed definition.
Colour operates here as cadence rather than embellishment. Dense reds and ochres lend gravity and corporeal weight, while blues and greens open into contemplative, meditative intervals. The worked surfaces scraped, layered, and reassembled, retain traces of process, allowing the act of painting itself to register as an attentive, almost listening gesture.
Seen together, the exhibition reads as a sustained meditation on rhythm: of bodies, emotions, and lived urban experience filtered through personal mythology. Mitra does not seek resolution; instead, he holds form at the edge of recognition, inviting the viewer into a quiet, continuous encounter.

A Luminous Journey through Sacred Sites Paramesh Paul pays an earnest and deeply emotive tribute to the scenic and sacred beauty of places like Varanasi and Pandharpur. In glowing, warm colours — amber, gold, and vermilion — these works are created with utmost care and devotion. A sense of awe is evoked through the dense compositions, while a serene, sublime calm pervades the picture space, immersing the viewer in prayer-like feelings, known and ‘unknown’.
In a work, the sky shines with saturated oranges and golds, while floating diyas and lotus blooms transform the river itself into an altar — majestic, fluid, and sanctified. The ghats of Varanasi at dusk, the sculpted Nandi, the pilgrims and devotees performing rituals, lend the paintings a rich narrative fullness, conveying faith as a lived, luminous presence. Scripted with fine, brooding strokes, these paintings are soothing and richly rewarding on both visual and emotional terms. The lines and forms that construct boats and houses have a quiet charm. Details of rituals — aarti, bathing, prayer, procession — and of temples, pavilions, and arches, are sensitively rendered; they carry a fascinating presence and grace, binding all elements into a shared ceremonial glow. In another piece, the palette shifts to greys, ash-whites, muted blues, and smoky browns. Against this subdued ground, ornate bamboo chhatris punctuate the surface, as if reflecting continuity — ritual, belief, and the ceaseless flow of life along the river. India is a vast land with various traditions of celebration, devotion, worship, and holy places. Works such as these, recalling the “purity” of the sacred riverine sites on painterly terms, are a noteworthy aspiration.

At times, she was also involved in dubbing work as a child artist and performed small scenes, which gradually drew her toward acting.
