Vyoma Parikh’s paintings unfold as immersive, sensorial environments where landscape is not described but felt. Working with a refined interplay of oil and acrylic, she constructs surfaces that shimmer with layered detail, delicate constellations of colour, cascading vertical rhythms, and tonal shifts that evoke forests, water, and flowering terrains without ever settling into fixed geography. Her canvases hold a quiet dynamism, where density and translucency coexist, allowing light, texture, and form to move fluidly across the surface.
What distinguishes her work is this ability to balance intricacy with atmosphere. The repeated vertical elements suggestive of trees, rain, or veils, create a hypnotic structure, while the richly worked grounds, composed of countless minute marks, build a sense of depth that draws the viewer inward. On the occasion of Dr. Krishna Chouhan’s birthday, a grand celebration of the 7th Legend Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2026 was held at the Classic Raheja Club in Andheri West, a renowned suburb of Mumbai. Presented by KCF, this awards ceremony honored personalities who have established their distinctive identity in the film industry. Organized by Dr. Krishna Chouhan, the awards ceremony was attended by numerous personalities, including Padma Shri Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota, Dilip Sen, Sunil Pal, Tarannum Malik Jain, and others.
On this occasion, Chief Guest Bhajan Samrat Anup Jalota congratulated Dr. Krishna Chouhan on his birthday. Dr. Krishna Chouhan’s birthday was also celebrated by cutting a magnificent cake on stage.

Chief Guest Padmashree Anup Jalota said that Dr. Krishna Chouhan honors artists and technicians from various fields with this award. New Delhi/Mumbai: Ravindra K Dwivedi, National President of Vishva Hindu Seva Sangh, has strongly reacted to the recent statement made by Mohan Bhagwat, who said that Hindus and Muslims are one.
Dwivedi stated that Hindus and Muslims can never be the same as their ideologies are fundamentally different. He alleged that Muslims are “religion-driven” while Hindus are “spiritual,” and claimed that spiritual people do not harm others, whereas those driven by rigid belief systems may go to extreme lengths to enforce their views.
Questioning the stand of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Dwivedi asked that if Hindus and Muslims are indeed one, then why has the issue of Hindu-Muslim differences been raised across the country over the years.
He also criticized the RSS chief’s remark that the organisation would no longer participate in religious movements, stating that this indicates that the organisation’s focus has shifted from ideology to political power. Dwivedi alleged that such statements suggest that Hindus have been misled.
Referring to the current situation in the country, he appealed to the “upper caste community” to increase its population and unite people from all sections with dignity, stating that this is necessary for the protection of Sanatan.
Dwivedi also expressed concern over the present scenario under the leadership of Narendra Modi, alleging that unrest in the name of casteism and linguistic divisions is harmful for the nation.
He emphasized that there is no hierarchy in Sanatan and compared society to a vehicle with four wheels, stating that removing even one wheel would halt its movement. He further alleged that some leaders benefit from such divisions.
Dwivedi concluded by urging people to respect each other, focus on education and employment generation, and avoid blindly following political leaders.

The exhibition showcases a stunning new collection of original oil paintings that capture the eternal soul of Varanasi with its majestic ghats, sacred temples, bustling river life, and the divine presence of Lord Shiva. What makes these works truly unique is Sandilya’s signature technique: every painting is created using holy Ganga Jal (water from the sacred River Ganges) instead of regular water. Opening at the Jehangir Art Gallery, Auditorium Hall, ‘Beneath the Surface’ brings together four artists whose practices are rooted in an engagement with what lies beyond immediate visibility. The exhibition is less concerned with surface resolution and more with the internal negotiations, of memory, material, and lived experience, that precede and shape the final work. It asks the viewer to slow down, to look past the evident, and to encounter the quieter, often unresolved tensions embedded within each piece.
Charanjeet Singh’s works move between past and present, drawing from architectural memory and historical visual languages to construct spaces that feel both intimate and distant. His paintings hold a sense of time layered upon itself, where fragments of history are neither preserved nor erased, but reconfigured.
Manish Sharma approaches the landscape as a psychological terrain. Working within a restrained palette, he builds images that oscillate between recognition and ambiguity. These are not depictions of place, but states of perception, where structure dissolves into texture and memory resists clarity.
Abhishek Mandala’s sculptural language centres on the human figure as a site of pressure and transition. His forms suggest bodies shaped by forces larger than themselves, economic, social, and spatial, where endurance and fragility exist in constant negotiation.
Kaushik Gajjar reflects on the idea of dwelling, not as static architecture but as a living, relational condition. His compositions evoke built environments that seem to lean, connect, and respond to one another, suggesting a collective life embedded within structure.

The Yellow Canvas Platform presents Yellow Canvas: A Children’s Art Exhibition 2026, an initiative led by Sohan Kumar Choudhary, an alumnus of Sir J.J. Institute of Applied Art. Conceived as a space to recognise and nurture emerging talent, the exhibition brings together a diverse body of work by young artists trained under his guidance, with 81 students from Sr. KG to Grade 12 participating in this edition.
At its core, the exhibition celebrates creativity as an essential and deeply human faculty. It reflects a pedagogical commitment that moves beyond technical instruction, encouraging students to develop independent visual languages while grounding them in strong foundational and advanced artistic principles. Over the years, many participants from this ecosystem have progressed into fields such as applied art, product design, graphic design, fashion, and interior design, with several establishing themselves as practicing professionals, educators, and international exhibitors.
This edition expands its scope by including works from students based across the United States, Germany, UAE, Armenia, Canada, Belgium, Thailand, Netherlands, and Singapore. The exhibition thus situates itself within a broader global dialogue, while remaining rooted in Indian artistic traditions, including engagements with folk forms and regional visual cultures.
Yellow Canvas 2026 is not merely a display of youthful expression but an evolving platform that fosters discipline, imagination, and cultural exchange. By creating an environment that is both structured and exploratory, the initiative underscores the importance of sustained engagement with art from an early stage.
The exhibition stands as a testament to the role of mentorship in shaping future creative practices, offering young artists both visibility and encouragement in their formative years.

Renowned sculptor Dr. Venkata presents “IN THE FACE OF IT ALL”, a solo exhibition of his recent sculptures at Jehangir Art Gallery, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai, on view from 14th to 20th April 2026, from 11 am to 7 pm.
Working with bamboo, paper, resin, and draped fabric, Dr. Venkata transforms humble materials into striking sculptural presences. At times enhanced with paint, the works take on a semi-realistic quality, further enriched by the enduring sculptural traditions of the temples of Andhra Pradesh. The result is a compelling visual field where humanity and environment remain inseparably bound in a tense coexistence.
Nature, in this exhibition, is not passive scenery but the structuring principle of existence. Fishermen, women, and hybrid anthropomorphic forms emerge as tidal beings shaped by wind, salt, soil, and the memory of coastal labour. Their bodies inhabit porous, honeycomb-like landscapes suggestive of multiple, entangled worlds.
The exhibition emerges from Venkata Rao’s sustained engagement with the sea as both memory and material condition. His sculptures pulse with the unruly energy of water, responding to the violence of human excess and the ecological aftermath it leaves behind.
Dr. Venkata Rao’s sculptural language moves with the force and unpredictability of water, surging in response to the consequences of human excess. Rooted in the memory of a place once called home and layered with nostalgia, his works unfold through profound spatial and emotional depth. Rather than moralising, he excavates enduring archetypes of time and transformation.
These sculptures resonate with the lived realities of seaside communities for whom the sea remains a lifeline. Here, nature is not a backdrop but the governing force that shapes labour, survival, and everyday life. The works also bear witness to polluted waters, altered coastlines, and bodies marked by ecological imbalance.
As the artist reflects: “My reaction to humanity’s savage flaws has transformed into forms that are partly human and partly animal. Yet my concern for humankind has altered my judgment, turning them into gorgeous gargoyles, metaphorical depictions of metropolitan life and its convoluted existence.”
The sculptures also open a conversation around memory as an ecological archive. In Venkata Rao’s practice, the coastline is not merely a site but a living repository of labour, ritual, erosion, and resilience. Each surface seems to retain traces of weathered histories, allowing the viewer to encounter not only the form itself but the sediment of lives shaped in proximity to the sea.
A compelling tension runs through the exhibition between fragility and monumentality. While the use of bamboo, paper, and fabric suggests delicacy and impermanence, the figures assert an undeniable physical authority. This duality mirrors the condition of the communities they evoke, vulnerable to environmental change, yet enduring through inherited knowledge, collective memory, and adaptation.
What ultimately emerges is a sculptural meditation on coexistence: between the human and the animal, the urban and the elemental, memory and transformation. The works invite viewers to consider how bodies, landscapes, and systems remain deeply entangled, and how the restoration of this relationship may be as much an act of remembrance as it is of responsibility.

The conclave also witnessed the unveiling of the latest edition of CinePort, India’s only dedicated film locations guide and B2B publication for production houses and OTT platforms scouting global destinations. मुंबई : ग्लैमर वर्ल्ड में अपनी मेहनत, लगन और सादगी से पहचान बना रहीं अभिनेत्री प्रिंसी इन दिनों अपनी आगामी हिंदी फीचर फिल्म “जान अभी बाकी है” को लेकर चर्चा में हैं। इस फिल्म में वह पहली बार कॉमेडी अंदाज़ में नजर आएंगी, जो दर्शकों के लिए एक नया अनुभव होगा।
प्रिंसी ने अपने करियर की शुरुआत छोटे लेकिन प्रभावशाली प्रोजेक्ट्स से की और धीरे-धीरे अपनी अभिनय क्षमता के दम पर इंडस्ट्री में अपनी जगह बनाई। इससे पहले वह फिल्म “शुभ रात्रि” में नजर आ चुकी हैं। इसके अलावा ज़ी म्यूजिक से रिलीज़ म्यूजिक वीडियो “माहिया वे” और “तुमसे ही” में भी उनकी अदाकारी को सराहना मिली। वह “थप्पड़” और “मैं रौंडिया” जैसे म्यूजिक वीडियोज़ का भी हिस्सा रह चुकी हैं। टीवी और वेब सीरीज़ में काम कर उन्होंने अपनी पहचान मजबूत की है।

मुम्बई. 3 अप्रैल 2026, ASS प्रोडक्शन प्राइवेट लिमिटेड और ST एंटरटेनमेंट के मुंबई कार्यालय का भव्य उद्घाटन 02 अप्रैल, 2026 को S-60, दूसरी मंज़िल, मूंगीपा आर्केड, गणेश चौक के पास, D.N. नगर, अंधेरी पश्चिम, मुंबई मे किया गया जहां मुख्य अतिथि श्री हेमंत कुमार राय उपस्थित थे.
अपने प्रॉडक्शन हाऊस की ऑफ़िस के उद्घाटन के अवसर पर मीडिया से बातचीत करते हुए हेमंत कुमार राय ने कहा कि ASS प्रोडक्शन प्राइवेट लिमिटेड को हमने लॉन्च कर दिया है. कुछ ही महिनों मे फिल्म निर्माण, म्युज़िक वीडियो के कार्य शुरू कर देंगे. डबिंग से लेकर क्रोमा शूट तक सब कुछ यहां होगा. म्युज़िक अल्बम और ओटीटी से सम्बन्धित सारे काम किए जाएंगे. कुछ अनुभवी लोग हमसे जुड़े हैं. पिछले वर्षों मे मुझे खट्टे मीठे अनुभव हुए उन को देखते हुए फुंक कर कदम रख रहा हूँ. अपना ओटीटी भी शुरू करेंगे. मैंने Shabbir Shaikh से कहा था कि पुराने अनुभवी लोगों को लेकर ही कार्यालय आइएगा उनसे सीखने को मिलेगा. मैं यहां आए सभी अतिथियों का आभार व्यक्त करता हूँ. श्रेया म्युज़िक के अंतर्गत हालांकि हम पहले से म्युज़िक वीडियो का निर्माण कर रहे हैं मगर हम लखनऊ से संचालित करते थे अब हमने मुम्बई में ऑफ़िस खोल ली है इसलिए मेरी देखरेख में यहां प्रॉडक्शन के सारे काम होंगे.”
बॉलीवुड के दिग्गज संगीतकार दिलीप सेन ने हेमंत राय को बधाईयाँ दी और कहा कि एक प्रॉडक्शन हाऊस खुलने से सैकड़ों घरों मे चूल्हे जलते हैं. हेमंत राय जी बड़े दिलवाले इंसान हैं और वह इस इंडस्ट्री में लंबे समय तक काम करने के लिए आए हैं. आज म्युज़िक अल्बम का दायरा बहुत फैल गया है.”
