एमएसएमइ रत्न और आभूषण निर्यातकों के लिए सिपझ मुंबई में जीजेइपीसी के मेगा कॉमन फैसिलिटी सेंटर का उद्घाटन सितंबर २०२३ में होगा – पीयूष गोयल. जेम एंड ज्वैलरी एक्सपोर्ट प्रमोशन काउंसिल (जीजेईपीसी) ने मुंबई में इंडिया जेम एंड ज्वैलरी अवार्ड्स (आईजीजेए) के ४९वें संस्करण का आयोजन किया। माननीय मुख्य अतिथि श्री पीयूष गोयल वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्री, उपभोक्ता मामले, खाद्य और सार्वजनिक वितरण और कपड़ा, भारत सरकार ने पुरस्कार समारोह के दौरान २७ टॉप रत्न और आभूषण निर्यातकों को सम्मानित किया। आयजीजेए का ४९वां संस्करण जीआयए द्वारा संचालित और इसीजीसी द्वारा सह-भागीदार था। मुंबई में बेल्जियम के महावाणिज्यदूत श्री फ्रैंक गीर्केंस सम्मान के विशिष्ट अतिथि थे। इस अवसर पर श्री विपुल शाह, अध्यक्ष, जीजेपीईसी; जीजेईपीसी के उपाध्यक्ष श्री किरीट भंसाली; श्री नीलेश कोठारी, सह-संयोजक, पीएमबीडी, जीजेईपीसी; श्री सब्यसाची राय, कार्यकारी निदेशक, जीजेपीईसी तथा अन्य लोगों ने भी इस समारोह में अपनी उपस्थिति दर्ज की।

पीयूष गोयल ने आगे कहा, “हमारे निर्यातकों ने सबसे चुनौतीपूर्ण समय के दौरान निर्यात में ७७० बिलियन अमरीकी डालर का उत्पादन करके एक उल्लेखनीय उपलब्धि हासिल की है। यह उपलब्धि शामिल सभी स्टेकहोल्डरों की कड़ी मेहनत और दृढ़ इच्छा शक्ति को दर्शाता है। जैसे-जैसे हम आगे बढ़ते हैं, हमें विश्वास है कि हमारा क्षेत्र विकास और विस्तार करना जारी रखेगा, और हम अगले कुछ वर्षों में निर्यात में २ ट्रिलियन अमरीकी डालर तक पहुंचने के महत्वाकांक्षी लक्ष्य पर अपना लक्ष्य निर्धारित कर सकते हैं।
उन्होंने आगे कहा कि “रत्न और आभूषण उद्योग को वैश्विक बाजार में खुद को नई ऊंचाइयों तक ले जाने के लिए डिजाइन और शिल्प कौशल की अपनी समृद्ध विरासत का लाभ उठाना चाहिए।”
सभी गणमान्य व्यक्तियों का स्वागत करते हुए, जीजेईपीसी के अध्यक्ष श्री विपुल शाह ने केंद्रीय मंत्री श्री पीयूष गोयल जी को वित्तीय वर्ष २०२२-२३ के लिए भारत से मर्चेंडाइजिंग और सर्विस दोनों को मिलाकर कुल निर्यात में $७७० बिलियन के विशाल लक्ष्य की उपलब्धि के लिए बधाई दी।
वित्त वर्ष २०२२-२३ के लिए निर्यातक के प्रदर्शन के बारे में बात करते हुए जीजेईपीसी के अध्यक्ष विपुल शाह ने कहा, “हम सरकार के बहुत आभारी हैं। भारत यूएई सीइपीए समझौते के परिणामस्वरूप मध्य पूर्व में गोल्ड ज्वेलरी के निर्यात में कई गुना वृद्धि हुई है। भारत यूएइ सीइपीए हस्ताक्षर करने के एक साल पूरा होने के मौके पर जीजेईपीसी ५ मई २०२३ से ३६५ दिनों की एक्जीबिशन इंडिया ज्वेलरी एक्सपोजिशन या आईजेईएक्स दुबई का उद्घाटन करेगी।

* Tell Us about your Tremendous Journey?
My journey has been a little weird and challenging. As an engineer (electronics & communication) with an MBA, I got an on-campus placement in an MNC named CBRE, but the entertainment industry was calling me and I always wanted to be into music. So when I came to Mumbai, I first started getting projects as an actor and Tv host and later I could establish myself as a singer.
So initially I used to come on and off to Mumbai and then later settled here.
Though my first break was in the Telugu film industry as a playback singer.
* What are the Challenges of Game-Changing battles?
I was always passionate about the glamour and entertainment industry but my parents had a different opinion about it. Moreover belonging to a medical and army background of a highly educated family, they wanted to keep music as just a hobby. Somewhere deep down within, I was not satisfied and continued my musical training while I was doing my engineering and MBA. It was when I started working I realised that it was high time I will have to choose my career otherwise I won’t be able to do justice to anything. The corporate world is very demanding and I ended up getting no time for my practice and performances.
* Being versatile you are Gifted multilingual and Blessed hows the experience?
I have sung in various languages out of which songs like Payal, Rajaji, Meera, Bitiya Hove Chiraiya, Pub G ki Game, Dil Hoom Hoom, Talash Khud Ki, Gallan Mahi Diya are loved all around.
The experience has been wonderful as all the songs are of different genres which made me do varied experiments with my songs giving me a chance to show my versatility.
* Your journey is Inspiring and A Miracle whats the X . Factor? What are Upcoming Projects?
My immense passion for this industry and my art keeps me going. Another important factor here is my family’s love and support always in thick and thin which keeps my morale high always.
Plus it was a decision made by me when I was so now anyways there is no looking back than to just keep going ahead with the flow successfully.
My upcoming projects include a few pop music videos and also some web series. The scripting has started but the names cannot be revealed now
* Since you are an inspiration what’s your message to budding Songers and Sparkling Sound Family?
Secondly, there is no shortcut to any dream, so don’t get misguided and carried away by the limelight of our industry and indulge yourself in any unsuitable activity.
I guess this piece of advice would be enough for now.

ડૉ. તાન્યા સ્કિનકેરમાં, અમે માનીએ છીએ કે ત્વચાના તમામ પ્રકારો અનોખા છે અને તેના માટે જ ઉજવણી કરવી જોઈએ. ત્યાં કોઈ બે પ્રકારની ત્વચાની સ્થિતિ નથી, જેનો અર્થ છે કે લાંબા સમય સુધી ચાલતા પરિણામો મેળવવા માટે ઉતાવળ કરવાની જરૂર નથી.

Ahmedabad, 03 March 2022: HDB Financial Services (HDBFS), in collaboration with CHETNA, has initiated Project SNEHA, to address and prevent the cases of malnutrition in eleven slum areas of Vasna ward, in Ahmedabad.
Project SNEHA facilitates pregnant women, lactating mothers and children under five years of age to adopt a healthy diet that is affordable, locally-available and easy to prepare. Project SNEHA has so far positively impacted lives of nearly 6500 women and children.
Through a series of group-based awareness sessions and one-on-one counselling, mothers of undernourished children are encouraged to prepare dietary charts. To ensure that desirable health and nutrition indicators are achieved, mothers and ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) workers track a child’s consumption pattern, height, weight and haemoglobin-level on a monthly basis.
Project SNEHA also focuses extensively on improving maternal healthcare. Sessions on breast feeding, complementary feeding, immunization and post-natal care are conducted regularly. Additionally, family planning / birth spacing methods are promoted among adolescents, newly-weds, and those in the reproductive age group.
Commenting on the initiative Ms. Shirley Thomas, National Head – Human Resources, HDBFS said,“Healthy nutritional programming is critical to holistic development of new-born babies. Poor intake of nutrition by mother and her child in the first 1000 days can cause irreversible damage to a child’s early development. Project SNEHA has touched the lives of over 6500 families through its continuum of care approach that focuses on reproductive health, maternal care and early child development.”
Ms Pallavi Patel, Director CHETNA, said, – “Rapid urbanisation demands urgent action to address the health and nutrition needs of the vulnerable communities. Project SNEHA, with the financial support from HDBFS, has provided us an opportunity to be one of the pioneers to address these needs. The project systematically involves the community as a whole by creating mass awareness about maternal, child and adolescent health and nutrition, and has brought a significant change in the health and nutrition indicators. We are thankful to the HDBFS to make our vision and dream to improve the urban health scenario come true.”
Project SNEHA has resulted in substantial increase in intake of iron-folic acid (IFA) supplements by pregnant women, preference of institutional deliveries over child-birth at home, and adopting breastfeeding practices. With consistent efforts and monitoring of dietary intake, nutritional level of acutely and moderately malnourished children in the slums has shown a positive improvement.

Have you ever thought of turning old, used tiny stubs of pencils into a plant? You might not have heard about this, but one would definitely start loving this concept once used to recycled pencils.
Every year we cut down about 8 million trees to make around 2 billion pencils. In such times, sustainable pencils are saviours to the environment.
A viable solution
Sustainable pencils are pencils that are not made of wood but are rolled from recyclable paper. Eco-friendly in nature, these pencils are plantable. They have water soluble capsules which have seeds of herbs and vegetables, making the pencils plantable and balancing the carbon imprint. With no trace of wood, old paper that goes to waste is recycled and rolled into pencils.
On an average, one kid uses 3-4 pencils a month. Multiply the number by the number of children, sketchers we have in the country and we have tons of wooden stubs of pencils dumped at landfills. And to create more, millions of trees are felled and the circle continues. While we all are grappling with the climate crisis, felling more trees and poorly managing wastes is not at all an option, all for the sake of a pencil. Therefore, recycled pencils become the best solution and the perfect alternative for wooden pencils. A child opting for eco-friendly pencils by buying recycled, plantable ones is giving back to nature and contributing to saving the environment. Not just this, but it is also a tiny way to reduce one’s carbon imprint and avoid unnecessary damage to nature.
But why recycled pencils?
Recycled pencils are the need of the hour and it is heartening to see several young brands coming forward to address the issue and offer a variety for children to choose from the green alternatives. What is even more exciting is that these pencils turn out to be much better in quality and long-lasting than their wooden counterparts. The nib does not break easily and the paper-rolling process makes it very sturdy for a good grip in comparison to wooden ones. Mostly, such pencils are all extra dark graphite nibs, enabling children to unleash their power of creativity. As we all know, children love to use varieties of pencils. And pencils with a surprise of seeds is a delight among kids of all ages. Pencils are also widely used for drawing and sketching purposes.
Pencils enlighten early learning as well as creative skills among infants. But when you use the widely available, conventional wooden pencils available across the country, you are not being a responsible citizen and acting to save the environment around you. It is a known fact that wooden pencil manufacturing leads to deforestation on a massive scale, adding up to the environmental crisis.
However, when we introduce children to such alternative options, we are not only inspiring them to use their imaginations and creativity to play with the innovative products, but also instill the right values of caring for the environment and make them the green citizens of tomorrow who would be mindful about using resources as they grow up.
The curiosity of a child’s mind will be eager to try out these new kinds of alternative pencils that will eventually reunite and take them closer to nature. Once that happens, there is no looking back for the child; they will gradually start understanding the needing for living life in a sustainable way. Just like charity, sustainability too begins at home.
Using eco-friendly products while we battle several environmental issues, making children adapt green practices will be an inspiration for children and adults alike to appreciate, admire and value nature, and further contribute towards making our planet a better place to live.
