Mohinderpal Singh Bedi chairman of IAWA and father of Mrs Universe Popular Women Daljeet Kaur left for heavenly aboard on 26 Nov 2016 in Guwahati, Assam. A very kind person who worked for the artist and senior citizen in Mumbai and was the pillar of NGO IAWA, he had a silent attack. May his soul rest in peace.
Versha Sethi showcased “Queen of Banaras” collection in Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Doha. The show was beautifully choreographed by Lokesh Sharma of Jaipur.
Older than history, older than traditions and even older than any other legend princesses introducing “Queen of Banaras” collection. Jaipur based fashion designer Versha Sethi, who was also the sole designer who presented her collection “Queen of Banaras” at the “Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Doha”. She was the only Indian fashion designer to showcase her talent at this prestigious international Fashion Week. Her collection consist design inspiration from the Mughal period around 14th century when weaving of brocades with intricate designs, using gold and silver threads became the specialty of Benaras (India)were used. The fashion show was beautifully directed and choreographed by Lokesh Sharma from the Pink city.
“I am delighted to showcased my collection on such an international stage and represent our culture and traditions through my designs. My collection depicts work done by weavers of India and aim to raise awareness and support weavers from Benaras, who craft beautifully decorated Benarasi Silk garments. The designs are the beautiful cultural variation from 14 century to 20 century, where traditional Benarasi fabrics are done with lot of hard work and skillful work using the silk. The outfits are fully filled by the beauty of Indian princess from Mughal emperor brides to independent brides of today maintaining the rich traditional culture of India. Fabrics used to design the collection are Jamdani, Tanchhui, Karwa, Katan Silk and Kimkhwab. This collection is dedicated to all the weavers who brighten the fashion world with their endless efforts, in a pursuit to keep the tradition of our artwork alive.”, says Versha.
The show director Lokesh Sharma added “It was a great moment when I directed and choreographed this show second time. More then 20 models walked on the ramp in my direction. In Versha Sethi’s show models walked on the ramp on the Indian Classical Music, which attracted the audience.
Writer-producer-director and editor Dilip Gulati and Studio DG Production House’s 9’s MAFIA BIGG BOSS will be releasing on 26th January 2017 all over.
The film will be releasing from Dilip Gulati’s own distribution wing in Bombay Territory. The film is a drama of the underworld from 1960 till date and introduces Dilip Gulati himself in the fiery role of the most wanted Don Abdullah.
Also in the cast of the film are Raj Chauhan,Sagar Pandey,Salim Gaud,Ashfaque Khopikar,Hans Kishan,Aayush Jadeja and item girl dancers Archana,Moon Mon Guha,Tania Talwani,Sana Khan and Poonam Chopra.Lyrics: Dilip Gulati andSunil Jha. Dilip Gulati’s Mafia Bigg Boss will be clashing directly opposite the star-studded films RAEES (Shahrukh Khan starrer) and KAABIL ( Hrithik Roshan starrer) on 26th January 2017. Dilip Gulati himself has played the fiery role of the most wanted Don- Abdullah. Bappi Lahiri has provided the musical score for the film and has also rendered one song Bhai Mumbai Ka Bhai which will become a craze soon. The film will be also released in Tamil Telugu and Malayalam.

Producers Mahesh Sharma and Vishnu Sharma alongwith writer-director Raama Mehra have completed a 5-day shooting stint on 30th Nov. at the historic Karni Mata Mandir and Abeda Bungalow in Kota, Rajasthan wherein a romantic number and scenes were filmed on the leading pair Jai Yadav and Sagarika for Rama Dhanraj Film Productions’ KEEP SAFE DISTANCE.
Another 2-day shooting stint of the film begins at Film City,Goregaon from Dec.2ndonwards. Action scenes on Jai Yadav, Mushtaq Khan and others will be picturised.
Also an item number for the film will be picturised on 5th November at a bungalow in Madh Island. The item dancer is yet to be finalised.
Kiran Kumar, Shahbaaz Khan, Adi Irani, Pradeep Kabra, Kratika Mathur, Sanjana Singh, Atishri Sarkar, Vishnu Sharma, Laxman Singh Rajput, Shilpa Gandhi are also playing major roles in the film which is an action, romantic,musical drama for the family audiences. Producer-director Rakesh Sawant is all set for releasing his tri-lingual film Jaya Films and Musics’ AMAVASYA (in Hindi and Telugu) and AMAVASEY (in Tamil) on December 25th all over. The Tamil version has already been passed by the censors with an A certificate. while the certificates for Telugu and Hindi versions are awaited.
