Delhi 2016: Mrs. India, the largest beauty pageant in the country for married women is hosting auditions for the 5th edition of the pageant in Delhi on Saturday the 7th of January. The venue of the auditions is the Radisson Blu hotel, Paschim Vihar and the process will commence at 10am, lasting until 5pm.
The registration for the Delhi audition should be done between December 16th and January 7th.
Instituted by Deepali Phadnis in 2013, this platform is the only gateway in India to premium international pageants worldwide like Mrs. World and Mrs. Asia International. Mrs. India allows married women from all over our country to come together in a celebration of not only their beauty, but their personality, talent and culture too.
Eligibility to participate:
Married women of Indian nationality may register under two categories: Mrs. India – 40 years of age and below and Mrs. India Classic – Above 40 years of age. The candidates are required to present a marriage certificate at the time of registration.
Age limit:
Beauty is timeless and age is only a number. Mrs. India encourages married women of all ages to come forth and embrace their grace in all its glory. This is your time to shine!
Criteria:

Rs.2000 should be paid at the time of registration, either online (http://mrsindia.net/formtomail/onlineform.htm) or while registering on the spot at the venue. Register between December 16th and January 7th.

Causes supported by Mrs. India:
The cause supported through Mrs. India is Diabetes awareness, which is something close to Deepali’s heart as her father suffered from Alzheimer’s as well as paralysis. It was later discovered that these illnesses were severely influenced by the fact that he was a diabetes patient. Having personal experience with the lack of knowledge on diabetes, Deepali has been participating and investing in the cause to ensure that enough knowledge is spread about this disorder.
Objective:
The founder of India’s first national pageant, Deepali has been hosting Mrs. India since 2013 and has successfully elevated Indian married women to international platforms. Her core motive while initiating the platform was to break the stereotype of married women in India and give them a chance to gain recognition to support a greater cause.
Producer Sadanand Pappu Laad of L. G. Productions launched his latest Marathi film titled SSHH… TOH AALAY ( meaning – Quiet… He Is Coming) on December 11th at Laadacha Ganpati Temple . Wellknown producer-director Anita Naik, her son Dr. Ketan Naik ( director of Hindi-Marathi bilingual LUCKY AND HAPPY and LUCKY AANI HAPPY ) were the chief guests. Anita Naik also sounded the clapper board for the mahurat shot for which the coconut was broken by Producer Sadanand Pappu Laad.
The film is being directed by Balasaheb Gore who took the mahurat shot on leading hero Ankur Laad( son of producer Pappu Laad), Ashutosh Balasaheb Gore( son of director Balasaheb Gore), leading heroine Pallavi Patil, Sushma Kole, Prashant Belande, Bhal Singh, Shilpa Sawant and Shilpa Medhekar. The film is being written by Dinkar Pande( writer of Maai Baap and Chal Dakkal). DoP: Rohan Savane.
A non-stop 20 days shooting stint for the film will begin shortly during the mid-week of December in Nasik locales and the film is being readied for release on 24th February 2017 .

Interestingly, Shekhar will be seen, perhaps for the first time in a bearded avatar on this show. When asked for the reason for the change?
