Mumbai | 2025: On the occasion of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, a historic ‘Jai Bhim Padyatra’ is being organized across India by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in collaboration with My Bharat. The Mumbai chapter of this grand padyatra will witness the presence of Union Minister of State Mrs. Raksha Khadse, State Minister Rajkumar Badavle, former MP Sable, Maharashtra Guardian Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, and Director General (Maharashtra & Goa) Prakash Kumar Munnavare.
Leading this initiative with great enthusiasm is Ramkumar Pal, National Executive President of the Prime Minister’s Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan. JAI BHIM PADYATRA To Be Held In Mumbai Under The Leadership Of Ramkumar Pal And Union Ministers
Pune, April 14: On the occasion of the 134th birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment and National President of the Republican Party of India (Athawale), Ramdas Athawale, addressed a special event held in Pune. He stated that the RPI (Athawale) is emerging as a strong national alternative in Indian politics.
“Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s political philosophy remains just as relevant today. The Republican Party is committed to his ideology. Our recent electoral success in states like Nagaland and Manipur is proof of the party’s growing presence. Today, the party has established a strong organizational structure across 28 states and 5 Union Territories,” said Athawale.
During the event, Sanghamitra Tai Gaikwad, the State General Secretary of RPI (Athawale) Maharashtra, praised Union Minister Ramdas Athawale for his leadership. She said, “Under Ramdasji’s visionary and inclusive leadership, the party has expanded rapidly in Maharashtra. His efforts in mobilizing women and youth have significantly strengthened the party at the grassroots level.”
She added that the party has built an active and robust network throughout Maharashtra, including Pune, by energizing the women’s front and involving a large number of youth in the organization.
Minister Athawale also made a significant announcement at the event, revealing that a ‘Republican Global Foundation’ will be launched in Dubai this November to promote Ambedkarite ideals on a global platform. He expressed hope that the RPI (Athawale) would soon gain recognition as a national party.

PRAARAMBHA – The Beginning
A new art gallery has started its art journey in the field of visual arts – propagation and promotion on 9th April 2025 at a venue in South Mumbai. It was ceremoniously inaugurated at 5, Deval Chambers, Ground Floor, Nanabhai Lane, Fort, Mumbai 400001 by Hon. Dilip Ranade(Eminent Artists), Prakash Bal Joshi(Renowned Artist) in presence of several art lovers, promoters, and collectors along with common viewers.
Kirti Gaikwad of Art Vista has envisaged to launch this venture and thereby render her debut exhibition via this art gallery towards propagation and promotion of obscure talent in the various areas of our country from rural and urban environments having diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
Kirti Gaikwad has been in the lime light since 2012 in the present art world as an organizer / curator of group art shows, solo shows and various art activities like camps, workshops, art demo’s ets at several important venues at Mumbai, Thane, New Delhi, etc. She has always been active and keen in her intentions to promote such talented but obscure artists with diverse background by encouraging and motivating them to showcase their artworks in different mediums and techniques in art exhibition along with senior and master artists in the art world in order to reach the prospective art collectors and buyers on a global level. She has envisaged to own this new art gallery with this has envisaged to own this new art gallery with this motivation only and as a result, planned to limit the size of artworks to be displayed in this debut show to 12 x 12 inches in any medium and style. In all 55 talented and contemporary renowned artists in rural and urban areas of our country having diverse backgrounds as well as social and cultural strata of society shall present their artworks in this unique art show and thereby reach genuine buyers and art collectors in the present art world. Mumbai: Addressing the media on the Waqf Amendment Bill, SM Khan, Maharashtra Vice President of BJP Minority Morcha, stated that the common Muslim of the country stands firmly with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to him, the new amendment bill will benefit the poor and backward sections of the Muslim community who have long remained on the margins.
He criticized attempts by certain groups to mislead the Muslim community by spreading misinformation about the bill, suggesting it would harm them. “The Modi government truly wants to uplift Indian Muslims, helping them rise from poverty and walk on the path of progress,” Khan said.
He emphasized that the Prime Minister is working with the spirit of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” (Together with all, Development for all, Trust of all) and wants Muslims to excel in every field.
Khan strongly criticized the Congress party, claiming it has historically used Muslims merely as a vote bank. “For 50 years, Congress has misled Muslims in the name of the Waqf Board and is now making noise because their ‘shop of loot’ is being shut down,” he added.
He further mentioned that the new amendments would benefit not just the poor and backward Muslims, but also women. He accused Congress of deliberately not implementing the Sachar Committee report to prevent the upliftment of Muslims. “Today, Indian Muslims are aware and have full faith in Prime Minister Modi,” Khan concluded.
