Mumbai, May 30: Renowned Vastu expert Dr. Dhiren Shah, who has earned accolades across India and abroad, has now made his mark in Mumbai. In a grand press conference held yesterday, he introduced his unique concept of Direction Vastu and made it clear that his focus is now set on Bollywood and its associated professionals.
Speaking to the media, Dr. Shah remarked:
“If the Vastu isn’t right, then no matter how much your income grows, your expenses grow just as fast. You remain stuck — no progress, no balance.”

The musical muhurat of Dr. Krishna Chouhan’s first home production film Aatma.com took place today on 25 May 2025 at AB Studio in Mumbai. Chief Guest Pankaj Parashar did the muhurat by giving a clap and breaking a coconut. Two songs were recorded here.
The first song is a romantic song recorded in the voice of Bollywood singer Shahid Mallya and Tarannum Malik, whose music director is Dilip Sen and lyricists are Ghazi Moin and Imran Z Salmani. While the second song has been recorded in the voice of Shabab Sabri and Ritu Pathak. The music director is Dilip Sen and lyricist is M Prakash. On this occasion, many celebrities including Deepak Parashar, Ramesh Goyal, Vishwajit Soni (Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain), Rekha Rao were present. Lyricist Vicky Nagar was also present who is also the lyricist of this film.
The co-producer of the film CD Shete, DOP Pappu K Shetty, screenplay dialogue writer PK Gupta, story writer and publicity designer R Rajpal were also present.

Shani Shanti Yagna started at 8 am by anointing with various oils. Yagyacharya Pt. Mahendra Krishna Shastri told that the yagna started by first worshipping Ganpati Ambika, Kalash Puja, Shodasamtrika Puja, Navgrah Mandal Puja, Lakshminarayan Puja, Dattatreya Puja and Shanidev, in which more than 400 devotees offered more than 10 lakh oblations with various mantras for all the gods and goddesses.
At 12 noon, Lord Shanidev’s birth anniversary was celebrated with drums and aarti was performed.

The temple was decorated with flowers along with attractive electricity and Shani Dev was adorned with 500 kg Basmati rice, 600 kg sugar, 500 kg flour, 25 oil cans, the material will be used for the prasadi of the devotee group.
At 8 pm, the Palki Yatra started from the temple, visited the Usha Nagar area and reached the temple premises again, after which Maha Aarti was performed. During the Yatra, the devotees kept walking chanting Jai Shanidev.
Along with this, food prasadi was also distributed among all the devotees.

About This Exhibition
Characterised by “gentle” characteristics and western education the rise of Bhadralok in the 19th century reflected changes in the nature of Bengali identity and subjectively. The colonial experience led to concern of Bengal elite to define for themselves a social class that would delineate their nobility and shape a new code of acceptance The “Babu” were associated with this new class of Bengalis eager to adopt Western manners and learn that they formed the bulk the workforce needed the cosmopolitan enclave of Calcutta Babumoshai enjoyed a style of life in common and was conscious of Its existence as a class organised to further its ends. The prototype Babu was one whose attire was a variety of English and Indian, claiming to be taught English and flaunting his status in society. The title “Babumoshai was added as a prefix or suffix to a person’s name to recognize (wealthy) Indians who had provided service and assistance to the British in establishing their commercial and political base in India. Raja Nabakrishna Deb of Sobhabazar Rajbari was first known ‘Babu’ from Calcutta. The rise of Bengali Babu(or Babumoshai) as a social class was mainly due to trade and Enterprise in British colonial Bengal.
Post 1857, we witnessed a change in the way these Babus were represented in popular domains. The young Bengali babu was presented as a cartoon character, a ridiculous fusion of East and West, wearing a Dhoti, coat and hat, wearing a monocle, carrying an umbrella and smoking a cigar. I tried to depict their lifestyle in this exhibition.
About My Art
After meditative perseverance of more than two decade I the Kolkata based artist Pintu Paul has been able to arrive at a goal. I was striving for to devise an indigenous identity of my painting. My figurative forms now display dominance of linearity with a sobriety of folk tranquillity where the wisdom of neo- Indian style is transcended into post-1940-s modernistic approach of our art. In the mean time since the beginning we of twenty-first century I traversed through various forms like naturalism, realism, expressionism and different kinds of folk. All these tracks have lead me to this original expression I was striving for, very much akin to my own personality.
In my present forms I amalgamates various nuances of Indigenous folk tradition, the meditative inwardness of Indian classical sensibility.
The fantasy-oriented technique of transformation of human figures from naturalism towards an expressionist sobriety based on western modernistic formal orientation. Through synthesis of all this elements, local and global I posits a benign, lyrical, witty, pleasant and colourful exposition of life, where indigenous traditional identity plays a dominant role.
The subject of my paintings and drawings are mostly figurative. In the present series I works with Indian social life.

Pune: Following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Indian Army’s strong and strategic response through ‘Operation Sindoor’ is being widely appreciated across the nation. In support of the Army’s valiant action and to salute their courage, the Republican Party of India (Athawale) organized a grand ‘Bharat Zindabad Rally’ in Pune on Saturday.
The rally began with a floral tribute to Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s statue in front of the District Collector’s office. On this occasion, Sanghamitra Gaikwad, Sunita Wadekar, Mangal Rasge, along with several women members of the party, paid their respects to Bharat Mata.
Throughout the rally, the air resonated with patriotic slogans like “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” “Pakistan Murdabad,” and “Victory to the Indian Army.” One notable feature of the rally was that participants carried only the Indian tricolor—no political flags were seen—symbolizing national unity and patriotism.
Sanghamitra Gaikwad’s participation stood out as particularly impactful. Her confident presence, powerful voice, and patriotic speech filled the rally with renewed energy and enthusiasm. Maitrry P Shah, an award-winning and internationally recognized contemporary Indian artist, has captivated audiences with her expressive and imaginative paintings. With a deeply contemporary style, she has carved a niche for herself in the art world. Born on April 11, 1987, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat,
Maitrry discovered her passion for painting at a young age, immersing herself in the beauty of nature. As she delved into the world of art and artists through books, her parents provided unwavering support and encouragement, fueling her determination to create her own world with colors and brushes.
Maitrry’s artistic journey began during her studies, as she started creating paintings and participating in various art competitions. At the tender age of 12, she received her first international accolade, the “Silver Medal,” in the 10th Kanagawa Biennial World Art Competition held in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan in 1999. She presented her work in art galleries at Gandhinagar, Bangalore, Jaipur, Bhilwara-Rajasthan, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Noida, Gurgaon, Manipal, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Mauritius, Warsaw-Poland etc, her works are in collection of many reputed art collectors and art institutions of national and international reputation on a global level.
Her paintings found their place in numerous national and international art exhibitions, earning her three international awards, including ten gold medals, two silver medals, and one silver crown in national competitions, as well as six state-level awards and certifications. Maitrry got an honorable doctorate Degree in Fine arts from IEMS University.
Maitrry is renowned for her expressive paintings, which she creates using various mediums such as oil, acrylic, oil pastels, and mixed media.
