V for Victor’- A different film on boxing and terrorism
The popular action star of Bhojpuri film is now all set to make his debut as an actor in Bollywood with the Hindi Feature film ‘V for Victor’, which is based on boxing with the back drop of terrorism. At a press conference held at Pragati Studio, Malad(W), Mumbai, where he was shooting on a boxing ring as a boxer with Aatish Bhattacharya as the Pakistan opponent, actor Sudip Pandey addressing the media said that the film stars him in the lead in the role of a common man called Victor Roy, who becomes a boxer, along with the top Bengali actress Pamela as well as Sangh Mitra, Usha Bachchani, Naseer Abdullah and others.Sanjeev- Darshan is Music director of film.
The film directed by Sanjay Amar is now almost 90% complete and is being shot briskly and slated for release by the end of the year. It is not only an entertaining film but also drives homes a powerful, message against terrorism which is becoming rampant today even with educated people. Actresses Pamela and Sangh Mitra play romantic interests of Sudip and though the film is not woman oriented, both the actresses have prominent roles with which they will be able to register themselves.
At the outset, Sudip conceded that it was his second innings as a producer-actor nine years after he had made his debut as an actor-producer in Bhojpuri film industry with the film Bhojpuriya Bhaiya starring him in the lead. “I was waiting for the right time and the right break as an actor in Hindi films and hence I decided to launch myself with the film V for Victor under my own banner with Sanjay Amar as the director. Sanjay has already directed quite a few films in Hindi like Future Toh Bright Hai Ji and 19th January etc.
Says Sudip Pandey, “I like the style of Sanjay who blends hard hitting messages in his films in a light way. V for Victory will be my second innings as an actor. Today when my film is on the threshold of release, I feel as nervous as well as fresh as I felt when I was making my debut with Bhojpuri films nine years ago with Bhojpuri Bhaiyya which was a super duper hit.”
Sudip who confessed that his film made on a budget of around two crores has been shot on various locales in Malaysia like Penang, Malaika etc, asserts that he had locked his subject on a boxer and also completed 90% of his film even before films like Sultan and Dangal even went on the floors and says that his subject does not bear even an iota of resemblance to those films. “I cannot even compare myself with either Salman Khan or Aamir Khan”.
Sudip wishes to change the way Bhojpuri films are being made in our country. “There is a wrong notion that Bhojpuri films are vulgar and need to have sexy item numbers and larger than life heroes to click at the box office. I want to prove that you can make even Bhojpuri films with aesthetics keeping in mind the average layman and his family so that families can come in large numbers and watch Bhojpuri films, which seem to be in a groove right from the earlier days whereas Hindi films have had a sea change from the Ganga Jamuna days to the days of Dhoom 3 now.
Sudip Pandey says that he has taken it up as a challenge to make the film as he is confident that the 25 crore population of his fans will make his film a big success, because it is content based film which is being made on an international scale with a positive message of humanity. Sudip concluded that though right now he has no time to concentrate on Bhojpuri films; he will never give up acting in Bhojpuri films as thanks to his Bhojpuri films that he has been encouraged to launch himself in Hindi with V for Victor. Watch out for him in three to four more films in Hindi after V for Victor is released.

College campus based adult Romantic Comedy film,‘Love Ke Funday’ to release in 600 theatres on 29th July
Love Ke Funday made under the banner of FRV Big Entertainment Private Limited by producers Faaiz Anwar and Prem Prakash Gupta with Indervesh Yogee as the writer-director is a romcom which has Prakash Prabhakar and Farzan Faaiz as the music directors.The film is slated for release on 29th July, 2016. The film has been certified for Adults only by the Central Board of Film Certification and will be released in around 600 theatres. The shooting of the film was held in Goa, Mumbai and Kashmir. The promotion of the film also has been done on a gigantic scale. The film stars young and talented new faces like Shaleen Banot,Rishank Tiwari, Ritika Gulati, Sufi Gulati, Harshvardhan Joshi, Samiksha Bhatnagar, Rahul Suri, Pooja Bannerjee.
There are four heroes and heroines in the film Love Ke Funday in the lead roles and the film revolves around all the four couples. Manan (Rishank Tiwari) and Jassi ( Samiksha Bhatnagar) are a married couple, Nikhil (Harshvardhan Joshi ) and Riya (Sufi Gulati) are in a live in relationship, and two are a pair of bachelor friends. They are Aryan (Shaleen Banot) and Sona (Pooja Bannerjee) and Sandy (Rahul Puri) and Annu (Ritika Gulati), who keep on changing their partners. The entire film is based on youth-oriented content.
Today most of the youth stumble upon love through Whatsapp, Face Book and chatting and what they ’feel’ is love is nothing but lust through physical attraction. The college going guys keep on changing their girl friends and what’s more they also have break up parties unabashedly. It is what constitutes love for most of them though there are some who actually fall in love. Love Ke Funday shows all these and more. College students will identify themselves with each character in the film. It’s all about how everyone’s life gets messed up because all their ways are connected somewhere, and then how they realized difference between affection, attraction and real love. Finally it’s all about who finds true love and whose relationship takes up a new turn.
Manjunath N. and Manohar Iyer are the co-producers of the film Love ke Funday. The associate producers are Aashni Krishna, Sundeep K Goyal and Jasbir Singh while Shree Shankar is the cinematographer of the film. Meraj Ali is the Editor and Rahul Vichare is the art director. Aslam Keyi has done the background music while Sujit Kumar is the choreographer.Buniyad Ahmed is the Executive Producer while Atit Jaidev is the Creative Director who has also handled post production. Naushad Shaikh and Abhishek Sharma are the production managers of the film.
निशांत कुमार फिल्म यह है जजमेंट हैंग्ड टिल डेथ के जरिए बॉलीवुड में इंट्री ले रहे हैं। याकूब मेनन की जिंदगी पर आधारित इस फिल्म में अपने कैरेक्टर को वह बेहद चुनौतीपूर्ण बता रहे हैं। वह हिन्दी सिनेमा में अपनी अलग छाप छोड़ना चाहते हैं। पटना के रहने वाले और फिल्म डिस्ट्रीब्यूटर के बेटे निशांत ने मास मीडिया की पढ़ाई की थी ताकि पत्रकार बन सकें , लेकिन बीच में ही एक्टिंग में आने का फैसला कर लिया। हिन्दी सिनेमा में लोग अपना करियर किसी बड़ी और रोमांटिक फिल्म से शुरू करने आते हैं, ऑफ बीट फिल्म से नहीं। हालांकि ऐसी फिल्मों में काम करना जोखिम भरा होता है, लेकिन इसमें अपने एक्टिंग टैलेंट को दिखाने का भरपूर मौका मिल जाता है। कुछ ऐसी ही सोच के साथ कदम रखा है निशांत ने। हीरो के बजाय एक्टर के रूप में अपनी छाप छोड़ने की ख्वाहिश लेकर इन्होंने ‘‘यह है जजमेंट हैंग्ड टिल डेथ’ साइन किया। याकूब मेमन की लाइफ से इंस्पायर इस फिल्म में निशांत लीड रोल में हैं। निशांत बिहार की राजधानी पटना से हैं। बचपन से ही फिल्में देखने का शौक रहा है। इनके पिता प्रमोद शर्मा पिछले 25 वर्षो से पटना में ही हिंदी फिल्मों के डिस्ट्रिब्यूटर हैं। निशांत ने पटना से ही पढ़ाई की। बाद में नोएडा से मास कम्युनिकेशन में ग्रेजुएशन किया। फिर एक साल का डिप्लोमा कोर्स सिनेमा में किया। उसी दौरान इनके भीतर एक्टिंग का जुनून सवार हो गया। लेकिन उसके पहले कुछ वर्ष दिल्ली में थिएटर से जुड़े ताकि खुद को ट्रेंड कर सकें। उसके बाद 2011 में मुंबई का रुख किया। यहां उन्होंने अनुपम खेर के एक्टिंग इंस्टिट्यूट से एक्टिंग की बारीकियां सीखीं। उसके बाद ऑडिशन देने का सिलसिला शुरू किया। प्रोड्यूसर्स और डायरेक्टर्स से मिलने लगे। कई लोगों से मुलाकात हुई, लेकिन काम नहीं मिल रहा था। कई बार निराशा भी घेर लेती थी, लेकिन हौसला नहीं छोड़ा। फिर एक ऑडिशन के दौरान ही डायरेक्टर मन कुमार से मुलाकात हुई और उन्होंने यह फिल्म ऑफर कर दी। यह है जजमेंट हैंग्ड टिल डेथ के बारे में निशांत का कहना है कि ‘‘यह पूरी तरह से एक फिक्शनल स्टोरी है, लेकिन डायरेक्टर-राइटर मन कुमार ने याकूब मेमन की लाइफ से इंस्पायर होकर इसकी स्क्रिप्ट लिखी है। मैं यह नहीं कह सकता कि यह फिल्म याकूब मेमन की बायोपिक है, जिसे 1993 के मुंबई ब्लास्ट केस में फांसी दे दी गई थी। फिल्म में मेरे कैरेक्टर का नाम आरिफ है।’ निशांत ने याकूब मेमन पर काफी रिसर्च की।
उसके कुछ वीडियोज देखे। उसकी बॉडी लैंग्वेज और बातचीत करने के तरीके को सही से समझा। फिल्म में आरिफ की पूरी लाइफ की जर्नी दिखाई गई है। उसकी कॉलेज लाइफ से लेकर जेल जाने तक और फिर फांसी होने तक के सफर को कैप्चर किया है। निशांत बताते हैं, ‘‘पहले मैं कॉलेज ब्वॉय बना हूं, इसके बाद बिजनेसमैन के रूप में नजर आऊंगा, फिर कैदी के रूप में दिखाई दूंगा। कुल मिलाकर मेरे लिए डेब्यू फिल्म है और मेरा कैरेक्टर काफी रफ टफ और बेहद चैलेंजिंग है।‘‘ फिल्म में नीतू वाधवा इनकी पत्नी रुखसार की भूमिका में हैं। इसके अलावा फिल्म में अमित सिंह, अमरजीत शाह, दीपक आनंद, करण आहुजा, गुलशन तुशीर, प्राजक्ता शिंदे और प्रकाश कुकड़े भी हैं। निशांत बॉलीवुड में अपनी एक अलग पहचान कायम करना चाहते हैं। इनका मानना है कि हीरो तो कोई भी बन सकता है, लेकिन एक्टर बनना सबके बस की बात नहीं है। ‘‘मैं बतौर एक्टर बेहतरीन छाप छोड़ना चाहता हूं ताकि दर्शक लंबे अरसे तक याद रख सकें।

भोजपुरी सिनेमा के राईजिंग स्टार गौरव झा ने भोजपुरी फिल्म ‘ओ साथी रे’ की डबिंग पूरी कर ली है। एसबीआर फिल्म्स एवं ओमान फिल्म्स के बैनर तले निर्माणाधीन इस फिल्म के निर्माता – निर्देशक गोपाल पाण्डेय हैं। लेखक अंजनी तिवारी हैं। फिल्म का छायांकन तम्बी दादा ने किया है और नृत्य निर्देशन चन्दन मास्टर का है।
