Musical launching of Salim Khan’s Film “CALENDAR SHOOT”
After Madhur Bhandarkar’s “CALENDAR GIRL”, Golden Gate Films and Producer turned Director Salim Khan’s film “CALENDAR SHOOT” was launched with great funfare with a song recording by Singer Javed Ali, lyrics by Pradeep Kumar Lootare and Music by Shyam Purbiya, film is being produced by Irfan Khan and directed by Salim Khan. Launching was performed at Trinity Studio, Andheri west on 8th April 2015.
Film’s muhurat was blessed by veteran singer Anoop Jalota and well-known writer director Anees Bazmi, other distinguished guest present on occasion were actor Harish, Mukesh Rishi, Anil Nagrath, Kumar Mohan, director Rakesh Kumar, comedian Narendra Bedi, Mehmood Ali, Shabbir Bhai of Fortune Media, music director Natraj, director Jiten Purohit, Ramesh Goyel and lots of media person.
Film is introducing famous singer Arvinder Singh (Pani Sharab fame) in lead role along with 12 top models like Monica Nato, Nikhat Ansari, Kaifeena Khan, Kristina Bamang, Bidisha Basu, Chandni Chaudhary and others. Film is a crime thriller based on backdrop of a photographer and his twelve models. “CALENDAR SHOOT” will role from first week of May, will be shot in exotic locations of Mumbai and Goa.
Government plans free internet, when quality lacks for those who pay for it
Mumbai.A lot of government’s have grandiose plans of cities being connected with free internet. However quality internet is not even available to paying customers as infrastructure and bandwidth are just not there. Private companies and Govt owned companies offer tall promises and make you buy their overpriced equipment and then when internet is accessed it is always below par. There are regular speed problems and loss of signals.
The charges are same notwithstanding the constant outages. Internet users have grown, so speed is down, is the common excuse if you ask the robots in the call centres. In case of breakdown, private companies are as bad as the government companies in terms of restoring it. 48 hours is the normal number you can hear from the robots from centre voices. His entire belief system is shaken when documents from his departed mother’s locker reveal to him that instead of being what he believed himself to be – an average upper middle class Hindu – he was actually born to a Muslim family! Speaking about his role, Paresh Rawal said, “The film goes into a series of hilarious events that follows once I figure my true identity,” quips Rawal further adding, “Dharam Sankat Mein is an important film wherein a good message is being delivered through a rib tickling story.”
Talking about his illustrious film journey, Rawal added, “I’m fortunate to have got the opportunity to play interesting characters. I hope to continue entertaining the audience and my fans.”

Punjab’s rock star Gippy Grewal turns Manchala for the upcoming rib tickling comedy Dharam Sankat Mein, essaying the role of a pop star in the film. This situational comedy is helmed by the comedy king Paresh Rawal aka Dharampal who is a huge fan of Manjeet Manchala.
Dharampal, who is struggling to balance his life between two religions and the many interesting dilemmas the situation throws at him finds respite by listening to Manchala’s music. What is ironic though is that Dharampal is a Hindu ,who was biologically born into a Muslim family but is a fan of the Sikh pop star, Manjeet Manjala. And he’s left asking ‘What is the Solution to this Confusion.’
Other than this pivotal cameo in the film, Gippy also returns with two sizzling dance numbers – Do You Know Baby and Tu Takke after the success of Angreji Beat.
