After a successful run as a commercial model, actress Bruna Abdullah is exploring her acting skills big time. In the currently under production comic capper “Udanchhoo” Bruna plays the character of a “Sevika” to a Guruji which is played by veteran actor Prem Chopra. The Brazilian beauty has been quite excited about this challenging role that offers her to play a character she has never done before. Recently while shooting for the film an elevated Bruna decided to team up with the costume designer of and gave inputs for her look in the film. So much so that the actress ended up designing almost all her costumes for “Udanchhoo”.
The costume is a Sari that has some really attractive mix of colors which is teamed up with an interesting locket and a French braid to finish the look. And to top it all it has the beautiful Sari clad Bruna to add the oomph to the overall look.
Udanchhoo also stars Rajneesh Duggal, Prem Chopra, Ashutosh Rana actress newbie Saisha Sehgal in pivotal roles and is directed by Vipin Parashar. Ravindra Singh, MD of R Vision India Pvt. Ltd. is producing the film. The shooting for the film is currently on.
Asish Varghese directed a short movie ‘Aram Ghar’(Old Age Home) by Pocket Film’s which has a Mother – Son theme. Son’s role is being played by Vijay Badllani, who is a TV actor. The film is planned to be sent to short film festivals. “In the movie, the mother is being kept in old age home for 12 years by his son.
One day the mother requests son for some mattresses, fans and fridge as they are already torn or broken. Son offers to shift her somewhere else. The mother reasons that she is used to these things and when her son’s kids will send him in the same place, he will also require it. She won’t be there to take care of him. People send their parents to old age home and don’t realise that they too will end up there one day,” says Vijay Badllani.
Sandeep Malani, who has acted in several Tulu, Kannada and Konkani films in the past has now taken up a few Hindi films in which he will be seen playing various characters. Malani, has been a director having done 7 films till date of which 4 in Kannada of which Miss California & SMS 6260 lead hero Diganth is now being introduced to Hindi films with ‘Wedding Pulav’ and 2 in Hindi (Woh 5 Din and Janleva 555). His film Jo Jo Laali with Kalpana Pandit has won him 16 awards so far in the International Film Festivals.
A true die hard Sridevi fan, and an promoter of films through his Entertainment production Malani Talkies, Sandeep will now be seen playing the character of writer Sandeep Bhagat in the comedy film Hum Sab Ullu Hain, that releases on 11thSeptember. His role is certainly modelled upon the 2 States, Half Girlfriend, Revolution 2020 famous writer Chetan Bhagat.
Hum Sab Ullu Hain has several stand-up comedians with veteran comedians from Indian Cinema and newcomers playing important roles. Gavie Chahal, Amrita Chabria, Vandana Lalwani, Upasana Singh, Guddi Maruti, Dinesh Hingoo, VIP, Sanjay Wadekar, Rajeev Nigam, Sunil Pal, Vishnu Sharma, Mukesh Ahuja, Surinder Singh form the cast. The film is directed by T Manwani Anand, who plans to also have a Sindhi version ready for release soon.
After creating a rage of entertainment in the Gangs of Wassepur series, the talented director Anurag Kashyab and Zeishan Quadri are planning to team up yet again in the next chapter of Gangs of Wassepur. According to our sources, Anurag Kashyab has offered Zeishan to write the GOW 3. If everything goes well, Anurag has asked Zeishan to write as well as produce the movie along with him. The duo who had created their magic in the last two series are totally charged up to start with this next sequel.

A writer, an actor, a producer and recently turned director from the upcoming movie Meeruthiya Gangsters, Zeishan Quadri is currently being flooded with applauses from the industry and loved ones. But that one compliment which has made a great impact on Zeishan’s career was from his Gangs of Wassepur director Anurag Kashyap.
The duos who have shared their journey together since the inception of Gangs of Wassepur series, from being a writer-director pair to now a director-editor one, have strongly influenced each other.
In a recent interview with the media, the brilliant director Anurag Kashyap stated, “I saw a reflection of myself in Zeishan, the zeal and the passion I had in my early days is now what I see in him. When you make any movie you don’t cross the imaginary line till you don’t know that it exists. I have noticed that Zeishan is someone who likes to learn while making any films; he keeps reinventing and discovering it. In spite of not having any cinematic education, Zeishan comes with lots of courage in him; he has this incredible drive in him which is actually four times more than me that makes him an extremely talented filmmaker”
With such an amazing compliment coming from his mentor, Zeishan expresses his happiness by stating, “I am completely overwhelmed, it feels great when your mentor appreciates your work and chooses to become the presenter of your directorial debut film. What I am today is part of Anurag Sir’s remarkable guidance and encouragement”

Entries will be edited together into a final crowd-sourced video using footage submitted by people all over the world. The video will feature as many different faces and voices as possible, and will be screened at the Global Citizen Festival in New York on 26th September and included in a 1-hour special TV programme to be broadcast globally in over 20 countries.
We the People is launching with a tutorial video written by players from Get Lit, an education programme that engages urban youth in classic and spoken word poetry in Los Angeles, in a unique collaboration with Richard Curtis.

The prolific director joins as a jury in Asia’s largest filmmaking festival
One of Indian cinema’s most prolific and renowned filmmakers, Ketan Mehta joins the India Film Project 2015 a jury member. Asia’s largest film making festival is scheduled to be held in Ahmadabad city from September 18th -26th this year and is expecting a whopping participation of 15000 filmmakers across 20 countries. In last 4 years, more than 21000 filmmakers have been a part of IFP, and made 1500 films.
With an aim of acknowledging the talent of aspiring filmmakers, India Film Project gives an inimitable platform to all the cinema lovers to showcase their talent globally. It challenges one to script, shoot, edit & submit a short film in just 50 hours once the theme is announced. 50 hours is all you have to interpret the subject, write a brilliant script, discover the most appropriate location for the shoot, select good cast for the movie, compose gripping music and submit your entries online.
