Actress Shradha Sharma of Big Boss fame to end year with a jig in Jaipur
In between the departure of the old year and the advent of New Year lies something in the midnight for which everyone waits with bated breath, to welcome the New Year with open arms. This year Jaipur is in for some latkas and jhatkas of Bollywood’s dancing doll Shradha Sharma who will be performing live in the city on New Year’s Eve.
For a while now, Shradha Sharma has been the top draw for stage shows and this New Year’s Eve is no different. With New Year’s Eve around the corner, actress Shradha Sharma is busy rehearsing her dance performance for the party across the city. Actress Shradha Sharma who triumphed upon the hearts of people with her successful Bollywood career will be performing in Jaipur.
Every year as the clock nears midnight on December 31, the eyes of audience turns once more to the dazzling diva performing to some chartbusters. The crowd holds its breath, and cheers as she spins her magic on the stage to galvanize the audience with her thumkas.
Looking forward to her performance, Shradha Sharma says “I am so excited to perform in Jaipur on New Year’s Eve. Ending the year with my fans is the most satisfying end for me. I have a line of some of the most upbeat songs of 2015. Looking forward to the new years eve” further adding “2015 was a productive year for me. I did some great work which gave me a lot of recognition and love from my fans, now is the time to return love to all my fans”
His dancing skills were talked about as was his histrionics in Gautam Bafna and Praveen Chudasama’s Four Pillars of Basement. Now, actor Dillzan Wadia is on cloud nine. Not only has he been repeated by his producers in their next romcom, but Dillzan Wadia has won the Best Actor With Grey Shades Award and the Critics’ Choice Awards at IFEFA, Australia as well.
Says an elated Dillzan Wadia, “it was not easy portraying the role of a mentally unstable man in love. And I am glad my maiden film is recognised. There is nothing more an actor loves than being acknowledged for his work. And I am glad Four Pillars of Basement happened to me. And I am so happy that now my work is getting acknowledged the world over.”
Interestingly, Four Pillars of Basement was also lauded for its music and its action-thriller content by the IFEFA jury. This at a time when A-Lister banners are approaching the actor. Way to go, Dillzan!

Strenuous workout regimes and a strict, disciplined diet are the secrets behind the Greek god looks of Vikas Verma “My character is all about muscles. The character is inclined towards flaunting his bare body. Infact i used to feel really shy flaunting my body which is actually through out the film. So yes I was on a diet to achieve that body required for the role and I loved doing that. Robin Fundwani (the character) was an interesting character to play- a gym maniac who loves his brother Sanjay Kapur and his muscles and his protein and his gym. I loved exploring different shades of that character”. Talking about the difficulties he faced Vikas says “The only difficulty I faced was the freezing cold climate in UK. I mean most of my scenes demanded me to go shirtless, which gets difficult keeping the climate in mind. Otherwise there was no such difficulty I faced. Personally I am a gym person who works out regularly”
Dulha of Shaandaar was on low carb diet for whole movie schedule says the Dulha himself “I couldn’t enjoy much of food in UK as my character needed to be full ripped and always with 8 packs so I was mostly avoiding taste in the beautiful country but it’s all worth in the end”
The stunning Lisa Ray will be seen next in the upcoming film- Ishq Forever. Produced by Shabbir Boxwala, Ajay Shah and Harry Gandhi, the film has been shot in Cape Town as well as India.
The 43 year old diva who is playing the role of a secret agent in the movie will be seen performing stunts for the first ever time on screen. Along with Lisa, the movie also stars Javed Jaffrey, Ruhi Singh and debutant Krishna Chaturvedi. Kathan Gandhi from Jamnabai Narsee School, was at his best performance when he beat his fellow School mate Shanai Mehta in the finals of Boys Singles Pickleball Tournament held on 5th Dec ’15 at Mumbai during 1st Mayor’s Cup Championship.
Shanai Mehta was hot favorite since he has already won a Medal at the International Tournament held at Madrid –Spain , however Kathan outplayed experienced Shanai in the finals by defeating 2 straight sets 11-4 , 11-2 , Thus Kathan was Boy’s Champion in the first Mayor’s Cup Pickleball Tournament held at Andheri Sports Complex, Mumbai.
Around 80 Boys and Girls from 36 Schools in Mumbai took part in this one day tournament which was played at 3 outdoor courts at the Sports complex. One Tennis Court was also converted in to 2 Pickleball Courts where imported portable nets were used for the first time in India.
The final match of Girls Singles was breath taking as Girl from Ryan International, Tanvita Thakur had to fight tooth and nail to bag Gold medal from from MLDC collage’s Swapnali Angre… This match lasted for 3 sets where after losing first set 13-11 , latter on Tanvita came back and scored 11-6 , 11-8 to defeat Swapnali Angre.
In the Boys Doubles category, pair from Paranjape High School, Andheri – Sahil Suryavanshi and Sahil Khandagle beat Dixt Road School (Vile Parle) pair, in 2 straight sets 11-8 and 11-9
In the category of Girls Doubles, pair from Sanmitra High School Goregaon beat team from Ryan International 11-2 and 11-5.
Team Sanmitra was Isha Sakpal and Bhakti Adiverkar whereas Team Ryan International was Ishita Singh and Palak Bhandari.
Based on the overall medals won, Team from Ryan International, Goregaon was declared as Champions as they lifted the 1st Mayor’s Cup Pickleball Championship. Mr. Subodh Pethe of Waman Hari Pethe (well-known Jewellers), distributed the Prizes.
