दूसरे अंतरराष्ट्रीय भोजपुरी फ़िल्म अवार्ड समारोह में फ़िल्म निर्माता मधुवेंद्र राय बेस्ट पर्सनाल्टी के अवार्ड से सम्मानित किये गये हैं। यह अवार्ड समारोह दुबई में बहुत बड़े पैमाने पर फ़िल्म निर्माता अभय सिन्हा द्वारा आयोजित किया गया था। यह अवार्ड फ़िल्म निर्माता मधुवेंद्र राय को एक उम्दा भोजपुरी फ़िल्म राउडी रानी का निर्माण करने के लिए मिला है। देश विदेश के गणमान्य जनों के बीच ये अवार्ड मिलना भोजपुरी भाषा एवं भोजपुरी सिनेमा के लिए बहुत ही ख़ुशी की बात है।
गौरतलब है कि मधुवेंद्र राय ने पिछले साल भोजपुरी फ़िल्म राउडी रानी का निर्माण किया था। यह फ़िल्म बॉक्स ऑफिस पर सफल रही और सिनेप्रेमियों ने खूब पसंद किया था। फ़िल्म का निर्देशन किया था इक़बाल ने। मुख्य भूमिका में रानी चटर्जी, अमरीश सिंह, मनोज टाईगर तथा दीपक भाटिया आदि कलाकार ने दर्शकों पर अमिट छाप छोड़ी थी। अब शीघ्र ही मधुवेंद्र राय एक बड़ी भोजपुरी फ़िल्म का निर्माण जल्द ही शुरू करने जा रहे हैं, जिसका प्रीप्रोडक्शन कार्य जारी है। इस फ़िल्म की उदघोषणा अतिशीघ्र ही की जायेगी।
मधुवेंद्र राय ने कहा कि “अपने देश की धरती से दूर दुबई में बड़े पैमाने पर दूसरे अंतरराष्ट्रीय भोजपुरी फ़िल्म अवार्ड में मुझे इतना बड़ा सम्मान और ख़िताब मिला, ये मेरे लिए गर्व की बात है। इसके लिए मैं आयोजक व फ़िल्म निर्माता अभय सिन्हा का तहेदिल से धन्यवाद देता हूँ। मैं आगे भी अच्छी अच्छी फिल्मों का निर्माण करता रहूँगा ताकि अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर भोजपुरी सिनेमा का परचम और भी ऊँचाई पर लहराता रहे।”

सोफिया ने आगे बताया ‘ जब मै थोड़ी ठीक हुई तो मुझे लगा कि मेरी जिंदगी भगवान का गिफ्ट है। मेकअप नकलीपन होता है और इसके जरिए वैसा दिखने की कोशिश करते हैं, जैसे हम नहीं होते हैं। इसी तरह एक्टिंग भी है। मैं जीवन में ज्यादा वक्त तक एक्टिंग नहीं कर सकती थी क्योंकि यह फाल्स रियलिटी की तरह है। राम, कृष्ण और गणेश मेरे पास आए और कहा कि धरती स्वर्ग है और वहां नर्क के लिए कोई जगह नहीं है। इसीलिए मैं धरती को स्वर्ग जैसा बनाना चाहती हूं।’
सोफिया ने कहा ‘ मैं सेक्स कभी नहीं करूंगी, ना ही शादी करूंगी और न बच्चे पैदा करूंगी। मैं होली मदर हूं इसलिए सभी मेरे बच्चे हैं।’
