उत्तरप्रदेश विधानसभा चुनाव के दौरान बाबा विश्वनाथ की नगरी बनारस राजनीति का केंद्र विंदू बन गया था । सारी राजनितिक गतिविधियों का संचालन यहीं से हो रहा था । अब मॉडल एक्ट्रेस पूनम दुबे भी एक ख़ास मिशन से बनारस में हैं । दरअसल पूनम का मिशन बनारस एक फिल्म है जिसकी शूटिंग बनारस और आस पास के रमणीक स्थल पर किया जा रहा है ।
वर्मा फिल्म प्रोडक्शन के बैनर तले बन रही इस फिल्म के निर्माता हैं कमलेश वर्मा – संजय वर्मा, निर्देशक हैं दिनेश कुमार बंजारा जबकि कार्यकारी निर्माता हैं रानी पांडे । मिशन बनारस में पूनम दुबे की रोमांटिक जोड़ी नमित तिवारी के साथ है जबकि अन्य प्रमुख कलाकारों में संजय पांडे, नीलम पांडे और आयटम क्वीन सीमा सिंह आदि हैं । पूनम ने बताया कि मिशन बनारस आपराधिक पृष्ठभूमि पर बन रही है पर इसमें मनोरंजन के वे सारे रंग हैं जिन्हें दर्शक पसंद करते हैं । उल्लेखनीय है कि पूनम दुबे जहाँ अच्छी अदाकारा है वही नृत्य में भी पारंगत है । हाल ही में पूनम ने लूटेरे की शूटिंग पूरी की है जबकि उनकी फिल्म रंगीला जल्द ही बॉक्स ऑफिस पर दस्तक देगी ।
Meet the charming and soft-spoken Casting Director Kashyap Chandhock who recently made his debut on TV as a Casting Director With Zee TV’s Daily Soap Opera ‘Bin Kuch Kahe’ .
Kashyap Chandhock has been an integral part of the Casting Industry for last 5 years. He’s first started working independently casting for commercials in the year 2014.In the span of these 3 years, he has assisted eminent Casting Directors. His most notable work has been with one of the Casting Directors of Dharma Productions’, Panchami Ghavri where he assisted her on movies like ‘Brothers’ and ‘Kapoor And Sons’.
Remember the super funny bodybuilder character of Boobly who at one point even tries to flirt with the character of Alia? He was casted by Kashyap who happened to be his gym trainer. The casting of Zee TV’s Prime Time show ‘Bin Kuch Kahe’ marks Kashyap’s 1st TV serial which he admits has been his toughest project. Being a show which is being exclusively shot in Jaipur and needed about 100 days of the actors, it could only take a charmer like Kashyap to convince the actors to leave the comfort of their homes & dedicate their time in a completely new city. His immense effort on his precise casting abilities is being proved with the success of the show.

Present on the occasion were film Director Padam Shri and National Award winner film Director Madhur Bhandarkar, maker of sensitive and thought provoking films such as Page 3, Fashion, Chandani Bar, Heroine and many more,Urvashi Rautela, film actress and Ms. Diva 2015, she represented India at Ms. Universe pageant in 2015, featured in Singh Saab The Great, Great Grand Masti and recently in a special appearance in ‘Saara Zamaana’ in Hrithek starrer ‘Kaabil’, Ranvijay, actor and a popular model, Zoya Afroz – Model, Actress and Mr. Sharad Chaudhary – Director Dreamz Production House, Mr. & Miss India 2017.
35 Girls and 40 Boys competed for the title of Mr. & Miss India 2017. All participants competed on the theme of Goan attire – casual, ethnic and western dress.

After the grand auditions spread over in 36 cities, the selected finalists were in Delhi for their Image Counselling, Grooming and Ramp Walk Training by the experts for three days. The Grand Finale to choose the winners was held on 26th Feb 2017 where an eminent panel of judges from film and entertainment fraternity selected title winners, 1st runner up and 2nd runner up in both Mr. India and Miss India categories and finally crowned the very first Mr. & Miss India 2017.

Ms Mehbooba Mufti CM of Jammu and Kashmir launched the trailer & music of Film “Sargoshiyan” on 17th March 2017, at Hotel J W Marriott Mumbai, the film produced by actor Imran Khan. शुक्रवार 17 मार्च , मुम्बई. जम्मू और कश्मीर की मुख्य मँत्री महबूबा मुफ्ती, मुम्बई के जुहू स्थित होटल जे डब्लू मेरियेट मे शुक्रवार को एक्टर से डायरेक्टर -प्रोड्यूसर बने इमरान खान की अपकमिंग फिल्म ‘सरगोशियां’ का ट्रेलर लांच किया गया. इस अवसर पर फिल्म के सभी स्टारकास्ट फरीदा जलाल, इमरान खान, सारा खान, शाहबाज़ खान, इंद्रनील सेनगुप्ता, टॉम आल्टर, अहसान खान, खालिद सिद्दकी और अलोक नाथसहित बॉलीवुड के दिग्गज कलाकार .रणजीत, पूनम सिन्हा, सोहैल खान, रजामुराद, अकबर खान, किरण कुमार, कंचन अदिकारी, इन्दर कुमार, नरेंद्र झा, अंजू महेन्द्रू, गुड्डू धनोआ, परमीत सेठी, दीप शिखा, लेख टंडन, शावर अली, उपस्थित थे.

ट्रेलर लांच के दौरान इमरान ने बताया कि बतौर डायरेक्टर उनकी इस डेब्यू फिल्म की शूटिंग के दौरान जम्मू एंड कश्मीर टूरिज्म, जम्मू एंड कश्मीर सरकार, इंडियन आर्मी और जम्मू और कश्मीर के लोगों ने काफी मदद की. उन्होंने बताया कि उन्हें जम्मू और कश्मीर के सुदूर इलाकों में शूटिंग करने में ज्यादापरेशानी नहीं हुई. इस अवसर पर जम्मू और कश्मीर कि मुख्यमंत्री महबूबा मुफ़्ती काफी खुश नजर आ रही थी. एक पत्रकार द्वारा पूछे जाने पर कि अगर बॉलीवुड से किसी को जम्मू और कश्मीर का ब्रांड अम्बेसेडर बनाने कि बात हो और आलिया भट्ट या दीपिका पादुकोण का नाम प्रस्तावित हो तो आप किसे पसंद करेंगी. इस सवाल के जवाब में हँसते हुए महबूबा मुफ़्ती ने कहा कि कोई हीरो भीहो सकता है. जब उनसे पूछा गया कि शाहरुख़ या सलमान .तो उन्होंने हंसते हुएकहा कि सलमान बेहतर चॉइस होंगे ..
इस अवसर पर उन्होंने कहा कि “पुरे मुल्कमें अगर लड़कियां कही सेफ जगह हैं तो वो जम्मू एंड कश्मीर है”. इस अवसर पर महबूबा मुफ़्ती ने अपने दिवंगत पिता और जम्मू-कश्मीर के पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री मुफ़्ती मोहम्मद सईद को याद करते हुए कहा कि “पौने दो साल पहले वे यहाँ आये थे और फिल्म इंडस्ट्री के लोगों से भी मिले थे. वे चाहते थे कि जम्मूकश्मीर में जो सन्नाटा आ गया है उसे दूर करें.”उनहोंने कहा कि उनके पिता कि इच्छा थी कि जम्मू और कश्मीर में बॉलीवुड के लोग फिर से पहले कि ही तरह फिल्मों कि शूटिंग के लिए आएं..उन्होंने इस अवसर पर कहा कि वे यहाँ अपनेपिता कि उस इच्छा को पूरी करने के उद्देश्य से आयी हैं .
उन्होंने कहा कि वे यहाँ बॉलीवुड के लोगों से कश्मीर के सन्नाटे को दूर करने में मदद मांगने आयी हैं. इसअवसर पर सोहैल खान ने कहा कि कश्मीर भारत का ताज है, उन्हेंने कहा कि वे कश्मीर जा चुके हैं और उन्हें कश्मीर बहुत पसंद है,साथ ही उन्होंने कहा कि इमरान ने वहां जाकर फिल्म बनाई है,इसे देख कर और भी प्रोड्यूसर्स इंस्पायर्ड होंगे ,सोहैल खान ने कहा कि पहले वहां काफी फिल्मो कि शूटिंग होती थी औरआज भी होनी चाहिए.इस अवसर पर सोहैल ने अपनी इच्छा जताते हुए कहा कि वे भी कश्मीर में जाकर अपनी फिल्म कि शूटिंग करना चाहते हैं
