Mumbai, April 10, 2017: Renowned Actor Manoj Bajpayee graced the 5th Veda session at Whistling Woods International (WWI) and stressed on the importance of staying connected to the roots of the country. He encouraged the students to travel but not as tourists, rather as locals to grasp the nuances of people in each region of the country in order to fine tune their filmmaking and acting skills.
Manoj Bajpayee shared that as actors and filmmakers in India, the students will be telling stories about the Indian society at large akin to the Hindi film industry. He mentioned this makes it even more imperative to understand the mentality of people in different regions of the country and not just the cities.
Sharing insights with the students, actor Manoj Bajpayee said, “You as the students of filmmaking and acting need to have a good hold over the language, culture and people of the country. Go and stay in the villages and small towns for two weeks to become a better actor and understand the rural sensibilities. This will effectively help you enhance your filmmaking skills, required during the course of your career.”
In this 5th Veda session, moderated by Subhash Ghai, Founder & Chairman of WWI, Manoj Bajpayee shared his journey right from his childhood days to becoming a successful actor in the country. He faced rejections but went on to work in theatre with several groups. He even set up his own group. He continued to keep learning and sharpening his craft. Such was his passion and he continued to follow his heart.
Few clips of his best performances from movies including ‘Raajneeti’, ‘Aligarh’, ‘Aks,’ ‘Gangs of Wasseypur,’ ‘Shool’ and ‘Satya’ were screened, where he shared the stories behind each shot or scenes of the respective film.
The informative session ended with Manoj Bajpayee taking a brief workshop on improvisation, wherein two students performed a given scenario and he shared his insights on how to better the characters and the scene. He appreciated the students and even went on to dance with them on his popular number from ‘Satya’, while receiving a standing ovation by over 400 students of the institute.

Everybody is doing a great job ,but as far as my question is concerned, I have come with a notion to create something unique and extra-ordinary Rekha informed’. Compared to other designers, Rekha has plus point of being an image consultant, which is a very important factor for a dress designer. When one is designing a dress for a person, and if he/she is an image consultant, respective possess knowledge to comprehend customers personality and according to he/she’s skin colour and postures, a costume is designed to make one stunning.
Besides business class, Rekha’s is also doing dress designing for Bollywood, Television world and model industry. At present, a serial Meri Durga (Star Plus) which is on air has designed costumes by her company R S Courture. It stars Vicky Ahuja, Ananya Agarwal as Durga supported by Rakhi Tandon, Rajiv Khanna, Amardeep Jha, Sanjay Kaushik and Ramansh Bundela, a role model of R S Courture and nephew of actor-director Raja Bundela.

About the film:
Rishton Ki Saanjh is about a young city dweller, Sanju, who is forced to move in with her grandmother in a rural village following her implication in a social media scandal. There she slowly forms a friendship with her grandmother’s learning-disabled lodger.
Shot in the Kullu Valley, the film beautifully captures Himachal’s culture, language and stunning landscapes. The film’s main theme is the hardship faced by aging parents who are left behind when their children migrate from villages to big cities. It also asks how inter- generational relationships might be rebuilt.
Rishton Ki Saanjh is the first commercial feature film to be produced in Himachal Pradesh. A dream project for director and producer Ajay Saklani, who hails from District Mandi, the film has been screened at several American film festivals, as well as been awarded the Himachal Excellence Award 2016 by Divya Himachal.

The film predominantly has Himachali cast and crew include lead actress Aditi Charka, who belongs to District Chamba, lead actor Vishal Parpagga from Mandi. Rupeshwari Sharma, also from Mandi, plays Sanju’s grandmother.

~A platform for kids to build their confidence ~
International Kids Couture 2017 presented an enchanting evening of children’s fashion. IKC in association with Phoenix Marketcities has launched a series of fashion shows in their malls in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai and Pune. The fashion show was tailored to bring out the eternal beauty of each participant. The showstopper for the evening, fashion blogger Shalini Chopra graced the occasion with her aesthetic style and exuberance. Along with the kids cartoon character Brainy and Smurfette from Smurfs Lost Village walked the ramp.
More than 68 kids walked the ramp. Acclaimed kids brands and designers in kids-wear showcased their latest creations in this category. The kids were seen giggling, cheering and showing off with their talent while sporting their brightest smiles. The International Kids Couture believes that every child is unique and special in their own way and they strive to bring out the best in kids by motivating them and building their confidence. As a part of the event, IKC also conducted workshop on 25th March to teach etiquette, build confidence, how to face the camera, be expressive groom and teach kids how to walk on the runway. The little fashionistas on the ramp left the audience mesmerized with their runway walk and gave a delightful experience to the audience.

Popular filmmaker Anil Sharma launches the first look of Thodi Thodi Si Manmaaniya
6th April 2017, Mumbai: The first look of NH 8 Films and Green Tomato Marketing Private Limited’s much awaited film Thodi Thodi Si Manmaaniya was held today with much fanfare. Popular filmmaker Anil Sharma was present at the event to release the first look of the film. Anil Sharma congratulated the entire team and requested the media to support this venture by saying, “Thodi Thodi Manmaaniya ko zyada zyada pyaar de…”
Debutantes Arsh Sherawat and Shrenu Parikh arrived in full form for their upcoming film which is scheduled to release on 12th May 2017. The occasion was extremely special as the teaser of the film was launched for the gathered media. The teaser launch of Thodi Thodi Si Manmaaniya was held at The View in Andheri, Mumbai.
Actress Shrenu Parikh said, “The movie is made for the youngsters and how they want to do “manmaaniya”. My character Neha in the film is completely different. We are giving a social message through music.”
Also present at the event were producers Satish Kumar& Rohandeep Singh along with director Aditya Sarpotdar of Marathi film Classmate fame. Writer Param Kalra attended the mega launch as well.
The teaser reveals the story of Siddharth, an ambitious boy who with the support of Neha discovers some hidden truth about his life. The first look was much appreciated by one and all.
Screenplay is by Ajinkya Kishore, Param Kalra and Amjad Khan. Ajinkya Kishore is also the dialogue writer. Troy Arif and Ajay Vas are the music composers while Prerna Sehetia & Raghav Dutt are the lyricists.
Synopsis:
Siddharth, a young boy is brought up by his single mother with dreams of settling abroad. Being a part of a rock band “Antriksha”; Siddharth participates in a contest which changes his life completely. Not only that, he meets Neha… a folk singer and a social activist and gets smitten by her ideologies. In the midst of all this, he comes face to face with his father’s death.

2003 में मेरी फिल्म सैया हमार से भोजपुरी फ़िल्म जगत के तीसरे चरण की शुरुआत हुई थी । इस फ़िल्म के निर्देशक थे मोहनजी प्रसाद । उनकी ही दूसरी फिल्म गंगा जइसन माई हमार भोजपुरी की पहली ऐसी फिल्म थी जिसकी शूटिंग गुजरात मे हुई थी । यह 2003 की बात है । इस बात को चौदह साल हो गए । इस दौरान 200 से भी अधिक भोजपुरी फिल्मो की शूटिंग गुजरात के राजपिपला में हो चुकी है । राजपिपला का राजवंत पैलेस में पूरी यूनिट ठहरी थी । आज फिर वहीं बैठकर आपसे अपने दिल की बात बयां कर रहा हूँ । इस चौदह साल में मेरी एक दो नही दर्ज़नो ब्लॉक बस्टर फिल्मो की शूटिंग
यही हुई है । देवरा बड़ा सतावेला , कब होइ गवना हमार , कानून हमरा मुट्ठी में जैसी फिल्में यही शूट हुई थी । 7 साल पहले मैंने इसी लोकेशन पर रहकर सत्यमेव जयते की शूटिंग की थी । अब यहां राधे की शूटिंग कर रहा हूँ । सबसे पहले में राधे की निर्मात्री नेहा श्री को बधाई दूंगा की उन्होंने अभिनय के साथ साथ अब फ़िल्म निर्माण के क्षेत्र में भी कदम रख दिया है । उनकी लगन को सलाम क्योंकि फ़िल्म में अभिनय के साथ साथ वह प्रोडक्शन की हर छोटी छोटी जरूरतों पर भी खास ध्यान देती हैं । ऐसी लगन और फ़िल्म के प्रति समर्पित प्रोड्यूसर कम ही हैं हमारी इंडस्ट्रीज में । तारीफ के काबिल है राधे के निर्देशक रितेश ठाकुर जो इस फ़िल्म के संगीतकार भी हैं । आरा के खून में ही संगीत बहता है । फ़िल्म के हर गाने एक से बढ़कर एक हैं । सब्जेक्ट का चयन भी उन्होंने खुद किया है । राधे का विषय अनूठा है । दरअसल राधे एक हाथी है जो फ़िल्म में मेरा दोस्त हॉता है और हर कदम पर मेरा साथ देता है । मैं जानवर प्रेमी इंसान हूँ । मेरे घर और कार्यालय में कई पालतू जानवर हैं पर किसी हाथी के करीब आने का मेरा पहला मौका है । सच कहिये तो मुझे उसका साथ काफी पसंद है । मैं कई बार उसे नहला चुका हूं , अपने हाथों से फल खिला चुका हूं । मेरे साथ शूट करके तो अब वह मेरी भाषा और इशारा भी समझने लगा है । जानवर प्यार की भाषा समझते है । यूनिट का लाडला राधे को जल्द ही आप हमारे साथ पर्दे पर देखेंगे । राधे कई मायनों में मेरे लिए खास है । फ़िल्म में मेरे साथ अरविंद अकेला कल्लू भी हैं । बहुत ही प्यारा इंसान है । तमीज और तहजीब काफी है उसमें । फुरसत के पल में हम लोग क्रिकेट खेलते हैं । यानि मैं कह सकता हूँ कि फ़िल्म राधे में गजब का टीम वर्क है इसके लिए धन्यवाद के पात्र हैं नेहाश्री और रितेश ठाकुर जो फ़िल्म और फ़िल्म से जुड़े लोगों की बेहतरी के लिए हर संभव प्रयास कर रहे हैं । मैं दुआ करूँगा की बतौर निर्मात्री नेहाश्री बहुत ऊंचाई तक पहुचे । अगले सप्ताह फिर आपसे मुलाकात होगी ।
