Medical student from Haryana, Manushi Chhillar, is the new Miss World 2017. Elbowing aside beauties from over 108 nations, Manushi was crowned the new queen in the Sanya City Arena in China PR. Miss World 2016 winner Puerto Rico’s Stephanie Del Valle passed on the coveted crown to the new titleholder, Manushi Chhillar from India.
No Asian woman had won the Miss World title until 1966, when a final year medical student Reita Faria, changed India’s fate forever draped in six yards of elegance. Close to three decades later, light-eyed beauty Aishwarya Rai had re-written history after she beat everyone in the competition to bag the honour for the country. Rai’s win at the prestigious pageant paved way for many other Indian beauties to follow including the likes of Priyanka Chopra, Diana Hayden to name a few. Call it a co-incidence or not, another medical student Manushi Chhillar has repeated history today and became the 67th titleholder of Miss World 2017.
The gorgeous 20-year old has also won the Head to Head Challenge and the Beauty with a Purpose titles, earlier this evening.

Yusuf Qasmi founder of smita Patil street theatre is conducting theatre workshop with tribal kids
The motive of the workshop is to make the kids aware of the problems of their particular area where they live and to solve their problem by creating awareness through street plays.
In two days Mr Qasmi and his team members Pankaj Purohit ,suchint singh, Shweta mishra , Hafsa Qasmi and altamash shaikh will be traning them for writting script ,giving them breif introduction to street play acting and at the end of the day on the kids will be performing street play prepared by them under the guidence of team of Smita Patil Street Theatre .

Barkha, who was last seen in shows like Naamkaran & Tenalirama, recently attended an event looking splendid. Barkha wore a black Andre dress by the brand Atelier Shivam with flares on the hemline and floral 3D studded all over. She pulled her hair black with a middle party and added her signature nath for jewellery. She added a pop of colour with a hot pink sling and wore nude shaded shoes.
She was spotted supporting designer Kshitij Choudhary who showcased his designs to mark the anniversary celebration of a Bandra based bar in an event titled Crescent Runaway. The designer had showcased a line of military green outfits with interesting cuts and structure.

As the season of fest marches closer and closer with time, we at NAEMD are glad to announce the celebration of the 12th successful year of JOSH, an inter-collegiate fest conceptualized and managed by the students of NAEMD. The students have blossomed the excitement to host the show once again.
JOSH is an inter-collegiate youth festival that offers students an exciting diversion from the rigours of their campus life and by acting as a catalyst in sparking up their monotonous life. It’s an energizing experience that beholds great levels of enthusiasm and excitement by the youth. Every year JOSH dawns with a new theme to give people an enriching visual treat. As India is a cradle of human race, mother of speech and tradition, this year NAEMD celebrates patriotism and the essence of being Indian with it’s HUM HINDUSTANI theme. College students from all across the city gave their highly energetic shots at the mumbai auditions which was held on 15th October’17 at St. John’s Universal, Goregaon. JOSH 2017 Ahemdabad concluded on — with a lot of granduer and stunning response. Mumbai finale will be held on 5th November’17 at st.john’s universal, goregaon while India finale held on 15th November’17 at St Andrews Auditorium, Bandra [W]. Mumbai auditions gave a tough time to the judges to select the best of talents and performaces which later resulted in conducting a second round.
Josh involves teams from various colleges participating in fashion show, western and bollywood dance competition, body tattoing and face painting. It is segmented into multifarious categories that are FASHION TASHAN, DIL DESI STYLE VIDESI, RANG DE BASANTI, COLOURS OF INDIA and MERA INDIA.
Fashion tashan involves participants wearing their finest costumes and attitude and walking their way to glory on the ramp.
Dil desi style videsi is a mixture of western and Indian where in the participants shake legs on western number choreographed in a fusion style.
Then we have rang de basanti in which the participants bring out the feeling of being hindustani through their dance moves.
Colours of India and Mera India are face painting and body tattooing competitions respectively where their tattoos and designs will speak about their affection for our nation.
Mr and Ms Academia is a good looks pageant with a difference which embodies the spirit of youth. Here we inted to catch the future models and stars when they are blossoming because the educated youth is the most adored person. It is here that the raw and good looking youngster gather grace, poise, class, character, knowledge and determination the achieve.

Josh in it’s previous years has witnessed the presence of many celebrities from bollywood, television and glamour industry at India finale to name a few- international choreographer Shiamak Davar and Marzi Pestonji, PKP 2 team, Actor & Model Freddy Daruwala, Surbhi Prabhu and Viraf Patel. TV actors Pooja Gor and Raj Singh Arora, Sonel Singh, Pratik Dixit, DID fame- Prince, RJ Aditi Raval and many more. दर्शको को भा रहा है कल्लू का पागलपन
इसी शुक्रवार रिलीज हुई निर्देशक प्रमोद शास्त्री की फ़िल्म रब्बा इश्क़ ना होवे में अपने प्यार को पाने के जद्दोजहद में सामाजिक दबाब के कारण पागल हुए अरविंद अकेला कल्लू का पागलपन दर्शको को काफी पसंद आ रहा है । उल्लेखनीय है कि रब्बा इश्क़ ना होवे बिहार और झारखंड में शुक्रवार को अच्छी शुरुआत के साथ रिलीज हुई थी , शनिवार को भी फ़िल्म ने अपनी रफ्तार कायम रखी है । फ़िल्म के हर दृश्य पर दर्शको की तालिया बज रही है ।
उल्लेखनीय है कि रियल एंटरटेनमेंट व शगुन एसोसिएट के बैनर तले बन रही इस फ़िल्म के निर्देशक प्रमोद शास्त्री हैं जबकि प्रस्तुतकर्ता हैं गौतम सिंह , निर्मात्री हैं कनक यादव और सह निर्माता हैं आनंद श्रीवास्तव । रब्बा इश्क़ ना होवे के लेखक प्रमोद शास्त्री व एस के चौहान है जबकि गीतकार है मनोज मतलबी, एस के चौहान , श्याम देहाती, सुमित चंद्रवंशी और संगीतकार अविनाश झा घुंघरू हैं ।

रंगीला व रब्बा इश्क़ न होवे को मिली अच्छी शुरुआत
भोजपुरी सिनेमा के दो बड़े सुपर स्टार स्टार प्रदीप पांडे उर्फ चिंटू पांडेय और अरविंद अकेला कल्लू 17 नवंबर को बॉक्स ऑफिस पर दो – दो हाथ करते नजर आये , जब उनकी फिल्में क्रमश: ‘रंगीला’ और ‘रब्बा इश्क़ ना होवे’ इस दिन सिनेमाघरों में रिलीज हुई और दोनों ही फिल्मो को अच्छी शुरुआत मिली । रंगीला जहां बिहार झारखंड के साथ साथ मुम्बई और गुजरात मे रिलीज हुई वही रब्बा इश्क़ ना होवे बिहार झारखंड में रिलीज हुई है । जानकारों का मानना है कि दोनों ही फिल्में पारिवारिक और भोजपुरिया जवार को कनेक्ट करती है, इसलिए दोनों की फिल्मों को अच्छी शुरुआत मिली है । हालांकि दोनों की कहानी एक दूसरे से काफी अलग है।
बात अगर भोजपुरिया स्क्रीन के चेहते स्टार प्रदीप पांडे उर्फ चिंटू पांडेय की फिल्म रंगीला की करें तो यह आदि शक्ति एंटरटेंमेंट और सोहम फिल्म्स के बैनर तले बनी है। इसमें चिंटू धरती से लेकर यमलोक तक अपनी अदाकारी से दर्शकों का दिल जीतने को तैयार हैं। फिल्म एक ऐसे लड़के की कहानी पर आधारित है, जिसमें वह अपने सपनों की शहजादी की तलाश में रहता है और जब वह शहजादी मिल जाती है। तब जो फिल्म में होता है, वह काफी रोमांचक और मनोरंजक है। फिल्म में चिंटू के अपोजिट नजर आएंगी अभिनेत्री तनुश्री और पूनम दूबे। कहानी में इनका लव ट्राएंगल फिल्म को और आकर्षक बना देता है। वहीं, चिंटू की यमलोग यात्रा के दौरान भोजपुरी इंडस्ट्री की क्वीन रानी चटर्जी और हॉट केक अंजना सिंह भी स्पेशल एपीयरेंस में दिखेंगी। फिल्म के निर्माता दुर्गा प्रसाद मजूमदार और राजेश वर्मा व निर्देशक रवि सिन्हा हैं।
वहीं, अरविंद अकेला कल्लू की फ़िल्म ‘रब्बा इश्क़ ना होवे’ समाज के आडंबर के पहरेदार और दो प्यार करने वाले के बीच की दास्तां है। खास कर जब ब्रह्मचारी बने कल्लू को रिझाने के लिए रितु सिंह कई तरह का जतन करती है। वहीं, फिल्म का दूसरा भाग और भी मजेदार है, जिसमें इश्क के दुश्मनों से कल्लू की जंग होती है। फिल्म का क्लाइमेक्स और भी खास है, जहां कल्लू का दूसरा अवतार भी नजर आयेगा। फिल्म में सुपर विलेन अवधेश मिश्रा और मनोज टाइगर मुख्य आकर्षण होंगे। वहीं, कल्लू के अपोजिट रितु संह और कनक यादव नजर आ रही हैं। गौतम सिंह प्रस्तुत और प्रमोद शास्त्री निर्देशित फिल्म व रियल एंटरटेनमेंट व शगुन एसोसिएट के बैनर तले बनी फ़िल्म ‘रब्बा इश्क़ ना होवे’ की प्रोड्यूसर कनक यादव और को – प्रोड्यूसर आनंद श्रीवास्तव हैं। दोनों फिल्मों के प्रचारक उदय भगत व रंजन सिन्हा हैं।
