Hyderabad (04.12.2017): The grand Indian launch ceremony of the first ever T10 Cricket league was held at the third edition of Indywood Film Carnival 2017 at Princess Hall, Ramoji Film City. Multinational conglomerate Heera Group hosted the Indian version of T10 Cricket League as part of the global branding of cricket’s new format.
Indywood Founder Director Sohan Roy emphasized that it is Indywood’s vision to screen games like cricket on movie screens and T-10 format is the ideal one to begin with. THE STORY
An ageing widower businessman Abhiraj Malhotra ( Narendra Jha ) is seeking to fulfil his departed wife’s last wish of building a multi-speciality hospital in Dehradun. Abhiraj’s chance encounter with a young, seemingly destitute runaway woman Mahtun (Urmila Mahanta) from Purulia, Orissa, who Abhiraj promptly hires as his servant. Mahtun also makes delicious food for Abhiraj and finally loves him too and reaches his bedroom. They make love but Abhiraj feels guilty about it . Mahtun now wants their relationship to be out in the open. What happens later forms the crux of the story.
CRITICAL & TRADE ANALYSIS
The film’s script(Abdullah Khn) has been written in the style of the eighties and the dialogue also appears to have heard in umpteen family dramas of the past as they are being re-served in a modern-day context and it feels distinctly unpleasant. The climax is a letdown once Abhiraj is shown dead and also the film shows Mahtun in a bad shade which may not be digested by many. Performancesie, Narendra Jha is very good. Urmila Mahanta acts brilliantly and she needs bigger makers to prove her talent. Annapurna Bhairi is good as Laxmi , the caretaker of Abhiraj. Zaid Shaikh,Satish Sharma,Sanjay Verma and Tripurari Yadav lend good support. Musically, singer Tripty Sinha has lent two very good numbers, one being a devotional while the other a romantic one and also they are equally well written by Azeem Shirazi. Camerawork( Jojny Laal) is heavenly and Dehradun locales never looked so beautiful till date. Also the glimpses of Mussourie and Hrishikesh are enchanting. Editing( Ashish Gaikar) is crisp. Production and technical values are good. The publiicty was good.
At the box-office, the film has merits for the ladies specially and it may be patronised in select cinemas of U.P. mainly where the film has been shot while business in other territories will make the investors happy..!

Ever since the music launch of the film GST – Galti Sirf Tumhari, it has been mired in controversies leaving the producers to defer its release from its scheduled date of 24 November. The producers have attributed it to the lackadaisical attitude of the CBFC that delayed its release, which will now release on 8 December. GST is not the only victim of this high-handedness of the board as we are seeing it happening with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ and comedy king Kapil Sharma’s ‘Firangi’, though industry sources reveal there are several other films entangled with the Board. Sarika S Sanjot, the bewildered producer of ‘GST’ – ‘Galti Sirf Tumhari which saw its release date pushed back thrice earlier mentions, “These last moment delays have resulted in huge losses to me. My film’s title ‘GST’ has nothing to do with any political ideology or any financial policy issues. It is purely a family entertainer-thriller.
We hope that the Board would eliminate its interference and obstruction to our film which has already cost us huge losses.”The debutante woman producer is keeping her fingers crossed and hopes to release iton 8 December itself unlike the other delayed films which are being held up due to other reasons. “I repeat that GST – the film does not have anything to do with policy issues, instead it is a revenge drama-entertainer carrying an important message for the youth,” Sarika emphasized. After acting in my first film CHINAR-DASTAAN-E-ISHQ , I took a break for nearly two years and waited for the right script to come to me. Several film offers did come to me but I was not so eager to act in these films until I got a call from Vicky Ranawat. When I went to meet him, he immediately asked me whether I will do this role of HASEENA. I asked him about the subject and he just told me:” “Teen Ladke aapar marte hain aur aap unko bewaqoof banate ho. ” I did get the script for a reading and I agreed to act in this film. I was treated very well by everyone in the unit. I got lots of options for my costumes and Vicky told me that I should look glamorous like Mumtaz and Zeenat Aman and I just followed his advice. Right from the styling of my hair, to the costumes, to the work shop, etc. I took Vicky Sir’s guidance and he went out of his way to help me achieve the character of Haseena. Mark my words, this kind of a break can be got by only few heroines who are indeed very lucky and I feel blessed. I will never be able to forget this film and also director Vicky Ranawat who has changed me completely from a sober heroine in my first film to the most glamorous heroine in my second film itself.
How was the experience while shooting the scenes with the three heroes of HASEENA ?
The mood of the film is exactly like that of MASTI,FUKREY,CHASHME BUDDOOR and PYAR KA PANCHNAMA. So you can understand how these three boys Mohit Arora,Ankur Verma and Arpit Soni are fooled by me on the bed when they come to make love with me. The scenes have been shot very aesthetically and without any trace of vulgarity. I must add here that all the three heroes Mohit Arora,Arpit Soni and Ankur Verma have acted brilliantly and I still remember the first day’s shoot of HASEENA when I took part in those intimate scenes with all the three heroes. The entire shooting was done with utmost dedication whether it be Future Studios, Goa or Udaipur, all the 30 days we were focussed in giving our very best. Seeing our work, Vicky Sir has already given all the four actors his next film too and this time, the script is again written , keeping the youth in mind. Vicky Sir told me that I can easily give hangover to all the male audiences once HASEENA gets released and this hangover will never go from the minds of the males.
How much confident are you now after working in HASEENA ?
I hope every director who will now direct me shower the same kind of affection shown by Vicky Ranawat ji and also guide me like he has done . After the pack up every day, Vicky jee used to discuss everything in detail for the next day’s preparation and he would do everything for the betterment of the film . I wish that in all my future films I will continue to act in all kinds of films wherever I can get good scope to prove my talent. After all, an actor can only be focussed in his or her role and everything depends on how the director is shaping the character.
How much credit will you give hard work, luck and destiny ?
It is sheer destiny that I bagged the role of HASEENA and a God sent director like Vicky jee who is an extremely fine human being too. He treated me like a good friend and never like a heroine. I also think I am lucky to get such a good unit and our prayers have been answered and we all hope HASEENA will be appreciated by the audiences as the film is full of entertainment and also a very good musical score. I have three songs picturised on me which I feel is another bonus points for me. I am a God-fearing person and only God can shape our destiny. But hard work has to be done first and as an actor, I can only work very hard to prove my talent but it is upto the paying audiences who enter the cinema hall and pass their verdict on the film as a whole and that will be the real test for the film HASEENA.But the youth audiences will surely lap up this film and they may even repeat it to watch all those mastiful scenes in HASEENA.

How did you get inspired to enter the film industry ?
I was knowing music director Kalyan Barhan since the past ten years. One day, I told him that I want to produce a feature film and he took me to director Netar Singh (Mintoo) who I liked instantly due to his endearing personality. He convinced me to make a musical love story. As Kalyan Bardhan is an excellent music composer, I thought of making this film which is now complete. It is titled KYUN LAGTE APNE HAI.
Will you continue making more films ?
I have come to know the film industry now very well and I am very happy that I met the right people. I will continue to make more films as I am of this knowledge that if I am within the budget and also know the business aspects, then there will be no problems at all.
How was the experience while you were shooting the film KYUN LAGTE APNE HAI ?
We took the local talents like Neeraj Rana and Nitesh from Himachal and heroine Sheetal came from Mumbai. Then we also took Mr.Himachal Harish, known as Harry who plays a major role in the film too. Vaishali, the Miss Himachal runner up was also cast in a major role. For the elderly characters, we had Amar Dogra and Ravneet Kaur,then Sunil Thakur and Survir Singh,Shadab Khan,Jyoti were also added to the cast. We had scouted the best locales for the film. I liked the Tibetian Temple location as the monastery is very huge and has a magical effect. We filmed one song inside the temple and even outside on the lead pair Neeraj Rana and Sheetal. One song which introduces heroine Sheetal in the film has been partly filmed in the sangam of the three rivers. We got tremendous local support from the MLA, the SDM and many wellknown people from Himachal. The shooting went very smooth throughout till the very last day. We have also shot the film partly in Mumbai at Madh Island and Uttan locales, a far off place from Bhayender, Thane .
Who else has contributed heavily to the film KYUN LAGTE APNE HAI ?
Our writers Vinod Mahant,Sanjay Kore, our DoP Tapas Munsi, dance master Sunil Thakur and singers Udit Narayan, Binti Sharma, Shahid Ali, Ishita Ghosh,Priyanka, lyricists Shivam,Tarun Bisht etc. all have done a brilliant job.One more music composer C.D.Thakur who has composed two songs for this film has given catchy songs for the film. On the whole, the cooperation which we got was much beyond our expectations and now only the dubbing and mixing of final sound=tracks are remaining to be done. We are planning to release this film in February 2018.

Tell us about your experiences with director Sohail Khan.
I joined Sohail Khan in 1994 during the making of AUZAAR and continued to be his assistant director in the films like PYAR KIYA TOH DARNA KYA, HELLO BROTHER,MAINE DIL TUJHKO DIYA etc.I worked with himfor15 long years. He has been very cordial tome all the time. I have learnt a lot from him and I will continue to show my kindness to all just like him.
Why are so much fascinated with the Himachal region ?
I have been staying in Himachal region in the Mandi district and Tehsil Jogendra Nagar since my childhood and this place is still the best suited for making films, specially love stories.Luckily for me,I got into touch with the music composer Kalyan Bardhan who was knowing producer Bachhu Singha since the past ten years. Bachhu Singha wanted to make a film with fresh faces and I was also keen to make one in Himachal. Within ten minutes of my story narration about the film KYUN LAGTE APNE HAI, Bachhu Singha gave me the green signal to make it. I was feeling very happy about his decision and we recorded six songs for the film. Kalyan Bardhan was humming some romantic songs and he also had many singers who are excellent in their jobs. Very soon,we all left for hunting the locations which was always in my mind and we started the shooting with sixty strong unit people,mostly they all came from Mumbai. The heroes Neeraj Rana and Nitesh are from Himachal region and heroine Sheetal came from Mumbai.But Neeraj Rana and Nitesh are also staying in Mumbai nowadays and both have cooperated very well.In fact, each and everybody from the starcast till the unit hands have supported me and Bachhu Singha till the very last day of the shooting. The film is a musical love triangle. I am sure, the audiences will be loving all the lovely locales of Himachal region and after the first digital print will come out in January 2018, we will be releasing the film in February 2018. I also got the total cooperation from Producer Bachhu Singha to make this film. .

कहते हैं कि सपना देखना जितना आसान है, उतना आसान नहीं होता हकीकत में बदलना। किन्तु कड़ी मेहनत, निष्ठा लगन के धनी के लिए कुछ भी कर गुजरना ज्यादा कठिन नहीं होता है। जी हाँ, यह कर दिखाया है महज 21वर्ष की आयु में एक्टर व फिल्म एडिटर अभिषेक श्रीवास्तव ने। उत्तर प्रदेश गोरखपुर के मूल निवासी अभिषेक जहां पर सपने साकार होते ही हैं, मुंबई, मायानगरी में आज एक अलग कामयाबी भरा पहचान बनाने में कामयाब हो चुके हैं।
