Menstruation in India comes with a baggage of myths and superstitions. Many menstruating women are still subjected to some of the worst forms of discrimination because they are regarded as impure.They are forced to stay away from their children during their periods.They are not allowed to enter the kitchen or worship in a temple.In reality these superstitions have no basis.Its not written in any religious text.
We need to educate women about menstrual and genital health.Women need to get rid of the stigma attached to menstruation and other issues related to genital hygiene.Bleeding is as much part of life of women as breathing,yet for all too many, the monthly period is still a taboo.
A survey report suggests that India accounts for a third of the deaths due to cervical cancer globally,with 2 women dying every 2 minutes.A new case is diagnosed in the country every 4 minutes.The cancer which affects the opening of the uterus can be prevented if women use hygienic sanitary pads instead of cloth.
Just 1 woman in every ten in India use commercially available sanitary pads.We are really thankful to #Akshaykumar sir for taking such an initiative which needs a lot of courage in a country like ours,for a man to discuss a very sensitive issue and the real man behind the story who inspired everyone of us mr Arunachalam muruganantham .today we need to address this issue publicly so that perspective of women towards their ownself would change and they would start using these sanitary pads for their own sake. So now lets talk about periods .

Lalsingh Raj Purohit Shakha Pramukh of Shiv Sena Kandivali (W), Shakha 31 with Kalyanji Jana celebrated the jayanti of Shiv Sena Surpemo Shri Bala Saheb Thakrey at Shiv Sena ground recently.
It was a well attended function where dance, music, plays, mimicry and variety of items were performed to regale people and make the function a grand success. The entertainers who steal the show were comedy king B. Aashish, dancer Pooja Yadav and Nizam Tadka comedy team.
Amongst the dignitaries who attended the function included Shri Santosh Rane, chief guest and Shiv Sena’s senior leader of Kandivali, Shakha Pramukh- Shri Lal Singh Raj Purohit, Leo Media Chairman and king of social media- Shri Keval Kumar, Girish Yadav-social worker, film artist Nazre Inayat Khan, Dancer Meddy, model Arshi Barma, dance master Milan Jana .

राहुल कपूर ने अपने ऑफिस में सेलिब्रेट किया निर्देशक इश्तियाख शेख बंटी का बर्थडे
साल 2017 में 12वें भोजपुरी अवार्ड में कुल चार अवार्ड जीतने वाली फिल्म ‘होगी प्यार की जीत’ के डायरेक्टर इश्तियाख शेख बंटी के जन्मदिन का ग्रैंड सेलिब्रेशन चर्चित फिल्म निर्माता राहुल कपूर के ऑफिस में हुआ। इस दौरान इश्तियाख शेख बंटी ने केक काट कर सेलिब्रेशन की शुरूआत की और राहुल कपूर को इस आयोजन के लिए धन्यवाद कहा। राहुल कपूर ने उन्हें जन्मदिन की शुभकामनाएं दी और कहा कि इश्तियाख शेख बंटी बेहद संजीदा इंसान हैं और बहुत अच्छे डायरेक्टर हैं। उनके साथ काम करने मुझे काफी मजा आता है।

‘ससुराल’ फेम भोजपुरी की इमर्जिंग अदाकारा काजल यादव का आज जन्मदिन है, जिसे उन्होंने कृष्णा दीप एंटरटेंमेंट और एस. आर. के. कंपनी के बैनर तले बनने वाली अपनी फ़िल्म ‘सीता और गीता’ और ‘चोरनी’ के मुहूर्त के साथ व्यंजन पार्टी हॉल, लिंक रोड अंधेरी मुंबई में सेलिब्रेट किया। इस दौरान भोजपुरी सिनेमा के कई बड़े चेहरे इस ग्रेंड बर्थडे कम मुहूर्त सेलिब्रेशन में शामिल हुए और उन्होंने काजल के लंबी उम्र की कामना की। साथ ही महिला प्रधान उनकी दोनों फिल्में सीता और गीता’ और ‘चोरनी’ की सफलता की कामना की। वहीं, काजल यादव ने अपनी मां माया यादव से भी आशीर्वाद लिया और कहा कि वे अपनी मां से प्रेरणा लेती हैं। वहीं, काजल ने अपने फैंस और दोस्तों द्वारा जन्मदिन पद दी गई बधाई के लिए आभार जताया।

Shop Qatar a month-long fiesta happening in Doha organized by Qatar Tourism saw a magnificent show by Bollywood designers such as Vikram Phadnis, Archana Kochhar and Mandira Wirk. The show direction of the Bollywood Fashion Show was done by Indian Fashion Choreographer Lokesh Sharma.
Lokesh who hails from Delhi and has his roots from the artistic pink city not only directed the show but took a step and was the only Indian representative for promoting Indian Culture at Shop Qatar Festival. at Shop Qatar he is promoted Indian handicrafts, hand embroidery, hand block printing, handmade lakh bangles and jewelry and leather shoes via installations and activations.

The Government of India (GoI) headed by Narendra Modi is taking more positive approach towards the industrialization and try to implement more number of Behavioral Safety Codes recommended by the International Labour Organization (ILO) , announced by Dr Avneesh Singh, Director General, Factory Advice Service and Labour Institutes, Ministry of Labour, GoI (FASLI).
Inaugurating the 2nd National Conference of the Forum of Behavioural Safety (BESAFE) organized at NITIE, Powai, Dr Avneesh Singh today said as of now only 43 Codes has been recognized out of total 188 codes stipulated by ILO.
The Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) is in very initial stage and will require more time to implement in various sectors of Indian economy, Dr Singh added.
Earlier in his welcome speech Dr H L Kaila, Director, BESAFE,said “As per figures given by the ILO around 23 lakh people die every year in the world due to such industrial accidents due to behavioural causes and the global economy is not only losing the valuable manpower but also big chunk of revenues.
With in last few years the implementation of BBS have gone up considerably and as of now around 10,000 units belong to various sectors of industries in India have adopted the BBS. These units belong to both Public Sector as well as private sector and they have linked BBS to production levels but we need to go a long way, Dr Kaila added .
The GoI should include the BBS into skill development program, Dr Kaila suggested.
The corporate India have to redefine the Behaviour Based Safety (BBS) as Big Brother Safety and should change the work force behavior from risk to better through reward program.
Dr S K Singh, Director, BESAFE, said “ The Government of India should teach BBS regulations through various educational institutes including Colleges and other training institutes. It will provide basic information about behavioural safety to everybody. The Indian corporates should adopt BBS and aim for Zero unsafe behavior.
The BESAFE has also given 12 BBS corporate recognition awards and 29 certificates to its BBS ambassadors. The awardees from the Indian corporates include GAIL, Adani Ports, Afcons Infrastructure Ltd, Bajaj Auto, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL), Jindal Steel Ltd, L& T, Tata Projects, Sterlite Power, Volkswagen India, Vedanta Ltd, and HPCL.
The chief Guest, Dr Avneesh Singh also released the first Souvenir of BESAFE and BBS documentary film on BBS prepared by Pansworld Televisions Ltd. Around a dozen of well known Indian companies have presented their BBS success case studies.
In fact, BESAFE have trained around 45,000 BBS mentors and observers over a period of last 17 years guided by Dr Kaila .
BESAFE offers comprehensive training services with customized process designed through its proven BBS concepts to meet unique goals. It has initiated a mission of Zero Harm and planning to implement it nationwide with the tag line Bharat Bane Surakshit.

हमारे देश की राजनीति अब धर्म जाती के नाम पर आसान हो गयी है. जरूरत है ऐसे युवाओ की जो देश की मनोस्थ्ती को समझे और देश को एकजुट करे, ताकि हमारा देश गलत दिशा में जाने से रुक सके.
