November 27th, 2018, Mumbai: Mumbai’s biggest street festival, Malad Masti is back with its third edition, power-packed with lots of fun and excitement. It’s the time of the year again when the Mindspace back road (1.5km stretch running parallel to the creek) of Malad will be all decked up for unadulterated fun.
This vibrant festival of suburbs is a celebration of art, dance forms, music, games and healthy events attracting a number of art enthusiasts from all across the spectrum. Malad Masti will kick-off on 2nd December 2018 and will go on for all four Sundays of December 9th, 16th and 23rd. The festival will be housed at one venue, back road of Malad. Visitors can look out for two performance stages, one for performing arts and the other for talent hunt. There is a separate silent zone dedicated for fitness lovers as well.
The festival celebrates art and culture through kid’s art installations, health friendly events like zumba, yoga and health programmes. There is also a special community zone celebrating the talent of special kids from the benefit square NGO. Younger festival visitors can revel at Kid’s Masti corner.
Last year, the festival attracted over one lakh visitors. This year is extra special since it promises double the enjoyment, lot of performances by celebrities and singers, unleashing local talents and unprecedented fun for free. One can expect a plethora of amazing experiences all designed to provide entertainment to people across barriers.
Also,the event will be graced by celebrities like actor Suniel Shetty, Global leading Holistic Health Guru Dr. Mickey Mehta, actor Sonu Sood and singer Guru Randhawa.
An initiative by Mr. Aslam Shaikh and by ALM (Advanced Locality Management), the festival was curated to offer fun and also an avenue for families to let down their hair and enjoy.

Last night, Kids Fashion Festival Week, one of the happening pageants exclusively for kids and Teens concluded in Bangalore, in its biggest township Bharatiya City. The kids were dressed up in pretty and elegant outfits of brands such as Allen Solly, UCB, Gini and Jony, Scullers Kids, Doodle, pepermint,tinygirl, Bare Kids to name a few from its Fashion partner, Bangalore Central Mall. Kids from the age 5 to 18 were part of the event in Kids and Teen Category. Post coaching by Fitness and Grooming Expert and founder of JV Fitness and Grooming, Jyothsna Venkatesh, kids performed with extraordinary confidence and zeal.
“Transforming and training these little superstars has been an enriching experience for me. It is a true privilege to help them in becoming better versions of themselves. It’s beautiful to see these kids learning & improvising over a period of time and when they finally hit the ramp it’s a different feeling all together” said Jyothsna.
Kids in Teen category wore ensembles by a designer Lakshmi Krishna of Lakshmi Krishna Label, where they looked no less than professional models straight out of a fashion magazine. They walked the ramp to an innovative format of Singer Sania Naidu rocking the stage with live western songs. Om and Reshal were the brand ambassador for the kids category where in Diya Bihani and Praneeth won the title of Mr and Ms Teen. They were followed by First runner up Aria and Prakyath and second runner up Kavya and Yash.
This signature event is an effort by Jyothsna Venkatesh who is a multifaceted woman with many achievements to her credit. She is the CEO and founder of JV fitness and grooming which has two leading events Mr & Ms Profashional, an exclusive fashion pageant for working professionals and KFFW (kids fashion festival week) along with Mr & Ms Teens exclusively for kids between 5 years to 18 years to it’s credit. She has groomed various celebrities for international and national pageants who have gone on to win several titles. She has won the Mrs. South India and Mrs. Talented title in the well-known Mrs. India beauty queen in 2014.
Bhubaneswar based designer Nikita Nayak Showcases her collection at India Fashion Week London. Her label is 2 year old and has garnered a lot of appreciation at shows as Delhi Times Fashion Week, Bhubaneswar Style Week and many more. Nikita has vast background of manufacturing and fashion management. Her designs are brief presentation of India’s diversified collection and tales of weavers. The show was directed by Indian Fashion Show director Mr. Lokesh Sharma. Designer coordination and backstage was managed by Mr. Swagat Ranjan. The colour Palette used for the creation were bright red carpet ready colours such as red, black, silver, shades of wine and dark green.
Our artist, handloom, paintings are known all around globe, through my designs I am giving my bit to the global audience. And presenting them in international platform like India Fashion Week London was an overwhelming experience for me, said Nikita while exhibiting her thoughts on participation.
27 नवंबर को लांच होगा रानी चटर्जी की फिल्म ‘रानी वेडस राजा’ का म्यूजिक
भोजपुरी फिल्मों की सबसे सफल अभिनेत्री रानी चटर्जी की मोस्ट अवेटेड फिल्म ‘रानी वेडस राजा’ का म्यूजिक 27 नवंबर को व्यंजन स्वीट्स, दशवारा लिंक रोड, अंधेरी वेस्ट, मुंबई में लांच होगा। इसके लिए अनोखे अंदाज में तैयारियों चल रही है। भोजपुरी सिनेमा में यह पहली बार होगा, जब किसी फिल्म के म्यूजिक लांच का इनविटेशन डिजिटली तैयार किया गया है। यह इनविटेशन काफी खूबसूरत और अट्रैक्टिव है। बता दें कि फिल्म ‘रानी वेडस राजा’ का म्यूजिक मशूहर म्यूजिक कंपनी वेब लांच करेगी। फिल्म में रानी चटर्जी के अपोजिट रीतेश पांडेय नजर आएंगे ।
प्रशांत कुमार गिरी प्रस्तुत सुभा क्रियेएशन बैनर की भोजपुरी फिल्म ‘रानी वेडस राजा’ की निर्मात्री वंदना गिरी हैं और प्रशांत कुमार गिरी ने इसे निर्देशित किया है। प्रशांत कुमार गिरी ने बताया कि फिल्म ‘रानी वेडस राजा’ जिस तरह से फिल्म का फर्स्ट लुक लोगों को खूब पसंद आया था, उसी तरह फिल्म का म्यूजिक भी उनके दिलों में अपनी जगह एक बार में बना लेगी। ये हमारे भोजपुरी के दर्शकों पर भरोसा है। फिल्म की कहानी सामाजिक – पारिवारिक पृष्ठभूमि पर आधारित है, इसलिए फिल्म के गाने भी उसी फ्लेवर के हैं।
उन्होंने कहा कि 27 नवंबर यानी मंगलवार को हम इसका म्यूजिक रिलीज कर देंगे। उसके बाद जल्द ही फिल्म के रिलीज डेट की भी घोषणा करेंगे। उधर, रानी चटर्जी ने भी फिल्म ‘रानी वेडस राजा’ के कथानाक को अपने मूड के हिसाब से बताया था। उन्होंने कहा था कि इसमें भोजपुरिया संस्कृति और संस्कार की झलक मिलेगी। इस फिल्म से खास कर महिलायें ज्यादा जुड़ पायेंगी। गौरतलब है कि फिल्म ‘रानी वेडस राजा’ की कथा – पटकथा संवाद सभा वर्मा ने लिखा है , संगीत मधुकर आनंद, गीत सभा वर्मा, प्यारे लाल यादव, संतोष पुरी, सच्चिदानंद पांडेय कवच का है। प्रचारक संजय भूषण पटियाला हैं। डीओपी गिफ्टी मेहरा, एक्शन प्रदीप खड़गा, संकलन शंकर रेगर और कोरियोग्राफी आकाश शेट्टी का है।
निर्देशक ब्रज भूषण की भोजपुरी फिल्म ‘काजल’ की शूटिंग शुरू मुंबई मे
ए आर डिजिटल इंटरटेंमेंट के बैनर तले बन रही काजल यादव स्टारर भोजपुरी फिल्म ‘काजल’ की शूटिंग मुंबई में शुरू हो चुकी है। फिल्म प्रोड्यूसर अदिल अहमद और निर्देशक ब्रज भूषण हैं। फिल्म को लेकर सभी सेट पर काफी उत्साहित नजर आ रहे हैं। इस दौरान मीडिया से बात करते हुए निर्देशक ब्रज भूषण ने कहा कि ‘काजल’ वीमेन ओरिएंटेड और पारिवारिक फिल्म है, जिसमें काजल यादव का दमदार भूमिका दर्शकों को देखने को मिलेगी। फिल्म का नाम ‘काजल’ बेहद संजीदगी के साथ रखा गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि फिल्म की पूरी कास्ट अपना हंड्रेड परसेंट दे रही है और उम्मीद है हम जल्दी ही शूटिंग खत्म कर इसे रिलीज करेंगे।
वहीं, फिल्म के सेट पर काजल यादव ने कहा कि फिल्म ‘काजल’ की कहानी काफी अच्छी है। इसको लेकर मैं एक्साइटेड हूं। मुझे लगता है कि यह मेरी लाइफ की सबसे बेहतरीन फिल्म होने वाली है। मुझे फिल्म के डायरेक्टर ब्रज भूषण के साथ काम करने में मजा आ रहा है। यह फिल्म महिलाओं को खूब पसंद आयेगी। साथ ही भोजपुरिया दर्शकों के महिलाओं का सम्मान और आदर करने का मैसेज भी देगी। ‘काजल’ भोजपुरी समाज के बीच की कहानी है। भले ही यह महिला प्रधान फिल्म है, मगर यह सभी दर्शकों को अपनी ओर आकर्षित करेगी। शूटिंग शुरू हो चुकी है फिल्म की और मैं सेट पर अपने काम को एंजॉय कर रही हूं। फिल्म के डायलॉग और गाने भी दर्शकों के दिल में उतर जाने वाले होंगे।

नीतिन नस, समीक्षा भटनागर की फिल्म ‘ओ माय लव’ की शूटिंग रांची में

“Since I have done films in Assam, my director Monjori Borkotoky approached me for the role and I loved the script. Veteran Bishnu Kharghoria will also play a pivotal role along with me. I am shooting the entire film in Guwahati for next 20-25 days. The film schedule is expected to wrap up by December 16th and the makers are aiming to send it to several film festivals prior to the theatrical release,” she adds.
Recently Urmila won the best actress award at the 7th State Film Award for most talked about film of Assam Bokul. She received the award from eminent directors Prakash Jha and Amol Palekar. For the same film, Urmila also bagged the best actress award at Patna International Film Festival.
