This exhibition was inaugurated on 20th March, 2023 by Chief Guests – Gazal Nawaz Shri. Bhimrao Panchale & Eminent Artist – Mr. Vijay Achrekar in presence of many art lovers, patrons etc.
Vaibhav Naik had his art education from Sir J.J. School of Applied Arts, Mumbai with specialisation in illustrations. Then he showcased his work in many solo and group art exhibitions at Mumbai Pune Elephanta Caves, Mumbai etc. A proud recipient of many awards from prestigious institutions like Maharashtra State Govt., Bombay Art Society, Art Society of India, Mumbai, LokmanyaTilak Art institute, Pune, M.T.D.C., Mumbai, Indian Oil Corporation, Mumbai, etc. he has received recognition from many promotional art collectors of national and international reputation. He has received grants and prestigious art promotional incentives from reputed institutes like Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation, Mumbai, M.T.D.C. at elephant caves, Mumbai, Indian Oil Corporation, Mumbai etc. His works are in proud collection of several art collectors of national and international reputation. He is currently working as a principal instructor at Samsara Academy of Art, Hyderabad.
Artist statement
I am a classically trained artist, working to explore an emotion of what exists in front of me at a given moment, using the technical and aesthetic experience I have gathered/garnered.
Over the years, I trained under the guidance of various mentors using different approaches. This has had a great impact on my artistic view and life experience.
With my work, I am trying to decipher the subject in an abstract way even though the final result is representational. In terms of my process, I like to rework areas and improvise till I am satisfied with the expression I am looking for. This allows me to constantly search for a design which is timeless and the artwork appeals to a wider audience whether they are an art connoisseur or not.
My roots are important to me and I believe that one can find answers in their roots. So, at present, I have chosen to experiment and express through drawing as a medium. With each project, I like to challenge myself so that I can keep growing as an artist. One such way is how can I harmonize various materials such as charcoal, graphite, white chalk, acrylics and pastels in my drawings. This is why I have also chosen this medium for my current show ‘Khayaal’
I don’t feel the need to follow trends in society, because I am looking to be honest to my practice and what I enjoy. And in the process if the viewer can connect with it, I think that’s when art happens.

Mumbai: A journey started in 2012 with ambition and eyes full of dreams. With persistent efforts, Ketto today is Asia’s largest online crowdfunding platform. उन्होंने आगे बताया कि ऐसी घटनाओं को अंजाम देने वाला जालसाज गैंग पूरे देश में सक्रिय है। बहुत सारे लड़के और लड़कियां ब्लैकमेलिंग के धंधे में लगी हुई हैं। यह धोखेबाज देर रात तक ऑनलाइन रहने वाले नंबरों पर अपनी नजर रखते हैं। व्हाट्सएप या मैसेंजर पर वीडियो कॉल करके लड़की अश्लील हरकत करती है और उसका वीडियो रिकॉर्ड कर लिया जाता है, फिर वे लोग लाखों रुपए मांगते हैं।
दीपक कुमार मिश्रा ने बताया कि चूंकि यह मामला पर्सनल होता है तो बहुत से लोग सामने वाले को पैसे भेज देते हैं। इसलिए मैं कहना चाहूंगा कि अगर आप किसी अंजान से दोस्ती नहीं करेंगे तो साइबर अपराध के शिकार होने से आप बच सकते है।
व्हाट्सएप पर अपरिचित नंबर से आए वीडियो कॉल को उठाते ही साइबर अपराधी अपने जालम फंसाने का काम शुरू कर देते हैं। व्हाट्सएप पर सामने वाले का अश्लील वीडियो बनाकर ठग ऑनलाइन द्वारा पैसों की डिमांड करते हैं। पैसे नहीं देने पर वह उस आपत्तिजनक वीडियो को वायरल करने की धमकी देते हैं। कई लोग इस झांसे में फंस जाते हैं।
दीपक कुमार मिश्रा का कहना है कि ऐसे अपराध को लेकर जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए हमने यह वेब सीरीज बनाई है। मैं जनता से कहना चाहता हूं कि यदि कोई ऐसे जालसाजों का शिकार हुआ है तो डरे नहीं बल्कि पुलिस के साइबर सेल में शिकायत दर्ज कराए। पुलिस उस ठग को पकड़ने का प्रयास करेगी।

Frozen in Time Exhibition of Photography by Kabeer Ramesh is being held at Jehangir Art Gallery, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai from 15th to 28th March 2023. The exhibition has drawn commendable response since its beginning. The photography art lovers from different backgrounds – young art enthusiasts to well accomplished photographers, have responded and engaged with the works presented.
This exhibition was inaugurated on 15th March 2023 by Adv. Jayant Gaikwad, IAS(Retired), in the presence of Ms. Alexandra Mockel (Leipzig University, Germany) and many others.
It could be said that, Kabeer Ramesh presents himself as a photographer – artist who is exploring varied forms, textures, structures and themes. He focuses on different aspects of the human world: achievements and contradiction (His photos of massive structures and the holocaust memorial at once); his various compositions, especially photos of the cluster of Onions, the historical monuments and his landscapes present artistic compositions and human sensibilities. The photo of the dark branches – ‘reaching out’, the sunrays exuding the blue sky has drawn serious interest. Noteworthy is also his depiction of ‘fleeting sand’, the lamps as art objects. His exhibition presents portraits with different perspective: the portraits of people in everyday walks of life, the ordinary people in their daily grind, instead of the wealthy and powerful; or his photographs of the Bull, the Camel with unique character and personalities presents as worthy objects of portraiture; his photos of a ‘Lone stone’ in waterbed in Meghalaya too looks at what is apparently inanimate, as basically or some point of time being lively. His work presents nature with different dimensions – from the moments uprooting caused by the human designs to the ‘regeneration’ occurring in nature. His work thus captures various genres: textures/ structures, portraits of people in everyday life, and objects with character. His nature portrayal too sees it through the artistic perspective.
We must make a special mention to his imposing composition of sculpture ‘The Hunter’ in adorning the Museum Island in Germany (as the story of human resolve and triumph).
Lastly, his work offers various forms and modes of seeing and an act of looking as a cultural practice. The enthusiastic response to his exhibition in Jehangir Art Gallery shows the serious and welcoming reception to his work.
