‘Hind Kesari Vishal Kushti Dungal’ was organised in memory of the late Dara Singh (Rustam e Hind). Known wrestlers from around the country participated in the event. Satish Pahalwan won the Alto Car and Haryana’s Sumer Pahalwan won the Motor Bike and Cash Prize of Rs. 51,000/-. Dara Singh’s son and actor Vindu Dara Singh presented the trophies. “Youth should stay away from drugs and should involve themselves in wrestling or any other sports for our country,’ was Vindu’s message during the event.

Nikky Batra, dance director and choreographer in 45 Bhojpuri movies and hindi movies like Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Raja Hindustani, Humraaz etc, has directed a movie on eunuchs (kinnar). The movie Khan Gali made under the banner of Sunayana Films Pvt Ltd also shows him playing the role of a Kinnar.
Only seventy percent of the movie is complete, but still it will be shown in Bilasa Film Festival which is scheduled to begin from 24th February 2015 in Bilaspur (Raipur). It will be shown on all the three days, ie.24- 25-26 February 2015.
Director Nikky Batra says, “People of the festival liked the movie and the story. On their request, we made a 40 minute version of the movie. It shows the birth and death of Kinnars, the way they earn money and the sufferings in their life. Should they be getting any rights? It shows the entire gamut of their lives.”
The cast includes Nikky Batra, Rameshwari, Sultan Khan, Amrin Khan, Ajay Bhaskar, Kamal Seth, Kunal Sonawane etc. The cameraman is Indrajit Singh and Anand Raj Anand is the Music- Director. The Art Director is Chetan Chudasama, Hind Sagar is the media partner, Costumes are Designed by Nita Lulla and singers are Udit Narayan, Pamela Jain, Sadhana Sargam,etc.
When actors struggle for a good role in movies, some lucky people like Kunal Sharma get good roles even without an acting experience in films. Kunal Sharma was the assistant director in movie ‘Rahasya’. Since the Director Manish Gupta did not get a suitable actor for a certain role, he asked Kunal to give his audition. The movie has been produced by UVI Film Productions Pvt. Ltd.- Mrs. Monica Vimal Maluka. Kunal played the role of Riyaz Noorani, a muslim boy, which is well appreciated by the people. The movie is running in theatres for the fourth week. The cast includes Kay Kay Menon, Tisca Chopra, Ashish Vidyarthi, Mita Vashisht, Ashwini Kalsekar, Sakshi Sem, Nimai Bali and other.
Kunal Sharma is a native of Jaipur and he completed software engineering from Delhi. He learnt acting from Vidur School. Now he has bagged a role opposite to Arshad Warsi & Aditi Rao Hydari in movie ‘The Legend of Michael Mishra’. It is being directed by Manish Jha. Kunal is playing the role of a rockstar Mithilesh Mathur. “I want to do challenging roles in movies and television. I would love to work with directors like Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Banerjee,” says Kunal Sharma.
Om Puri the super cop of film ‘Ardhysatya’ becomes mentor of Naxalites for Producers Shivam Kumar & Manoj Jha’s maiden film “RIFLEGUNJ (jahan kheton mein ugati hai goliyan)” already starring Tamil & Telugu’s famous actress Madhulagna Das & Telugu Star Diksha Pant, it is a ‘Khushboo Film Production Pvt. Ltd’ present’s in association with “Mithilana Motion Pictures”. Film is being directed by Manoj Jha (erstwhile assistant of Director Shekhar Kapoor), with story and screen play by Rekha Jha, dialogue by Manoj Jha, Associate Producer Miss Debasmita Paul, creative head Ajay Chourey & SarfrazAlvi, Associate directors are Ashok Sonkar and Atul Gupta, DOP Sanu Sinha, costume Shyam Kumar Bhaskar and editor is Santosh Mandal.
Songs recorded in voice of Goldie Singh & Palak Muchhal, by music directors Arvind Lyton, Siddharth Srivastav & Manoj Jha, lyrics by Arvind Kumar Jha, Manoj Jha & Siddharth Srivastav. In all total five songs have been recorded.
Other cast & credits are being finalized, film will be going on floor in end of this month to be shot in one schedule in northern part of India.
Director Shiraz Henry & Producer Rebecca Changkija recorded a song at ZIP Track Studio on 23 Feb 2015, for their new film “2 AM AT LOKHANDWALA” based on serial killer Beer m as he use to leave a can of beer after committing murder on Mumbai roads few years back.
Music directors were Manoj &Pukesh, whereas song was penned by Pukesh& Manoj , music arranger Asif Iqbal, and song were rendered by winner of Naga Hindi Voice 2014 competitions Nanwang and Malabika Kachari, and another version of same song sung by the famous Rock star Alobo Naga who has also enacted a guest appearance in film which hasChristie Bourcq , Brahms Dirsipo , GulshanPanday , Shashank , Jai Tari, Alobo Naga , Rahim , Tenzing Sherpa in lead roles . Co-Producer is Tenzing Sherpa.
This thriller Movie was shot in Chennai, Goa and Mumbai , in this movie the motive behind the serial murders is different and it has been shot on the real location of Kovagam temple situated at 200 Kms away from Chennai which is very rare , infact they are the only ones who have exposed the temple where every year lakhs of Eunuch gather for this festival at Kovagam.
