Another feather in India’s cap, one more women has achieved an International award. After winning Mrs India globe second runner up Diljeet Kaur from Mumbai represented India in Mrs Universe 2016 in China, and received Mrs Universe Popular Women. It was an event for 8 days where she participated in the forum against domestic violence.. In the universe, she gave her views on domestic violence in the world, she herself a victim of domestic violence spoke in the forum on international level how she fought domestic violence and raised her son by herself, working for senior citizens, underprivileged children and uplifting women under her NGO IAWA (Innovative Artist Welfare Association). The event was from 29 the to 5 the Sep 2016. Finale was on 4 the Sep at “Nansya Stadium Guanzaou” China.
Producer Khalid Kidwai’;s upcoming film “Rambhajjan Zindabaad” is a fun riot. A glimpse of the fun was witnessed recently as the talented team of the film came together for a grand Iftar party. As the ongoing pious month of Ramadan reaches its last phase the makers of “Rambhajjan Zindabaad” decided to through a lavish iftar party. The party held on 10th of July saw many renowned personalities of the tinsel town. Zakir Husain, Abhay Joshi, Ram Sethi, Tanisha Singh among others were spotted at this iftar party and some renowned artists moved earlier.
The film starring veteran actors Om puri, Kulbhushan kharbanda, Jagdeep along side other character actors Abhay Joshi, Zakir hussain, Ram Sethi, Khushboo Kkamal is currently under post production and is all set to release in end of September this year.
Producer Khalid kidwai also took this occasion as a platform to announce the next film venture from his production house Atlantic Adventure Limited “Mr. Buddhoo” which is currently in the pipeline. “Mr. Buddhoo” Stars national award winning actor Rajkumar Rao, Rituparna Sengupta.
The film also has yesteryear actor Jagdeep, Zakir hussain and actress Tanisha singh in pivotal roles. It will be directed by Dinesh Chandra Mishra.
Mumbai.Shri.Nutan Vidya Mandir High School located at Malad (East), Kurar village has completed 23 years after construction and is government recognised. Shri .Saraswati Sikshan Prasarak Sanstha runs the school. Founded by late Raju Karan Singh, the school teaches poor kids from the village and nearby places. The classes are run till 10th standard and nearly 1800 children learn in Hindi and Marathi medium.
Malad (West) based Gandhi Vichar Manch has redeveloped the school building and has built additional 3 new classrooms. In addition, a playground, stage and new toilets have been built. Four fans per room have been installed.The ground is rented out for occasions and it earns a fee for the school.
“This will better the conditions of the 1800 children studying in the school. India suffers poverty and poor should be uplifted.
These children will grow up to make a strong India,” says Manmohan Gupta who is the Chairman of the Gandhi Vichar Manch.

The event set the tone of a causal, and a very lively atmosphere. Sonia Mackwani took the privilege to speak about her book: “Every human being feels the need to HEAL at some point in life and to find forgiveness, strength and understanding to live each day with positivity and grace. Nikky Batra, dance director and choreographer in 45 Bhojpuri movies and hindi movies like Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja, Raja Hindustani, Humraaz etc, has directed a movie on eunuchs (kinnar). The movie Khan Gali made under the banner of Sunayana Films Pvt Ltd also shows him playing the role of a Kinnar.
Only seventy percent of the movie is complete, but still it will be shown in Bilasa Film Festival which is scheduled to begin from 24th February 2015 in Bilaspur (Raipur). It will be shown on all the three days, ie.24- 25-26 February 2015.
Director Nikky Batra says, “People of the festival liked the movie and the story. On their request, we made a 40 minute version of the movie. It shows the birth and death of Kinnars, the way they earn money and the sufferings in their life. Should they be getting any rights? It shows the entire gamut of their lives.”
The cast includes Nikky Batra, Rameshwari, Sultan Khan, Amrin Khan, Ajay Bhaskar, Kamal Seth, Kunal Sonawane etc. The cameraman is Indrajit Singh and Anand Raj Anand is the Music- Director. Mr Krishan Hooda who recently represented India at Hanoi International Film Festival, Vietnam. Also, his short movie The Last Audition was selected in the short film festival Shuruaat Ka Interval and released by PVR cinemas.
Beneath the wings of talent, one needs to behold an ultimate passion & desire to take a leap, a courageous leap in the horizon of ingenius’. Krishan Hooda is one such talent who recently up surged with his short film – The Last Audition .
Agile, profound and like a one – man band, he transforms every word into action. Believing in the power of hard work & determination, Hooda started his career working in a call centre.
An athlete in his academic years who was focused; the aim was on his marks to the finish line. He accomplished every race with I’m going to win attitude. He won as if never lost & if ever he lost, he was ready to run another.
People like him are born gifted; they only have to choose between destiny or talent, to be precise – the inner voice which compels them to accomplish their sole purpose of being born. But both work surely in their favor, though!
Hooda chose to be a filmmaker. A responsible filmmaker! With, The Last Audition; he proved his capability of being one. With tight budget, nuisances around & circumstantial attitudes’, finally The Last Audition was made.
The story depicts the life of a struggling actor, who auditions to bag even a small role but only failure falls into his kitty. How he face the hard- hitting reality and what he ends with, is really very well presented by Hooda.
The making of the film he regards as an exploration. He explored a lyricist in him. When everyone puts you down that is when you potentially arise. And during those crucial hours of meeting deadlines – filmy duniya was thought of.
The song – Filmy duniya is actually a real life story of any struggling actor. The relation of a struggler, his dreams, his efforts, his emotions with reality is prominently described.
The film made an entry in Shuruat Ka Intervaal competition, mentored by few prominent personalities of the film industry. Also was selected in the short film category at HANIFF – Hanoi International Film Festival, 2014.
His irrefutable sense to make quality films, propelled him to do The Last Audition, and he represented India at HANIFF for the same. The young filmmaker is surely making his way in limitless azure of competence & opportunities.
Moving ahead he says, “As a filmmaker, I wish to create a benchmark with every film I do. I want to rise above my capabilities. Like I always say I want to be better than I was last time”.

Rahul flagged off the 4.5 kms marathon, where more than 1000 kids participated along with their parents, to create awareness about energy conservation, on Sunday, 22nd February 2015.
