Medical student from Haryana, Manushi Chhillar, is the new Miss World 2017. Elbowing aside beauties from over 108 nations, Manushi was crowned the new queen in the Sanya City Arena in China PR. Miss World 2016 winner Puerto Rico’s Stephanie Del Valle passed on the coveted crown to the new titleholder, Manushi Chhillar from India.
No Asian woman had won the Miss World title until 1966, when a final year medical student Reita Faria, changed India’s fate forever draped in six yards of elegance. Close to three decades later, light-eyed beauty Aishwarya Rai had re-written history after she beat everyone in the competition to bag the honour for the country. Rai’s win at the prestigious pageant paved way for many other Indian beauties to follow including the likes of Priyanka Chopra, Diana Hayden to name a few. Call it a co-incidence or not, another medical student Manushi Chhillar has repeated history today and became the 67th titleholder of Miss World 2017.
The gorgeous 20-year old has also won the Head to Head Challenge and the Beauty with a Purpose titles, earlier this evening.

भोजपुरी अंतरराष्ट्रीय फिल्म अवार्ड समारोह(आईबीफा) ने जहां एक ओर भोजपुरी की आवाज को गांव जवार से निकाल कर सात समन्दर पार परदेस में लाकर चर्चित कर दिया, वहीं दूसरी ओर भोजपुरी की दुनिया को विस्तार देते हुए अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्लेटफॉर्म दिया। हालांकि विदेशी धरती पर यह तीसरा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय भोजपुरी फिल्म अवार्ड (आईबीफा) समारोह है। इससे पहले मॉरिशस और दुबई में भी यह आयोजित किया जा चुका है, लेकिन इंग्लैंड की राजधानी लंदन में रविवार को हुए इस समारोह की चर्चा भोजपुरी के दिग्गज कलाकारों की उपस्थिति से और भी चर्चित हो गयी है।

भोजपुरी फ़िल्म जगत की बहुचर्चित फ़िल्म काशी अमरनाथ का फर्स्ट लुक हिंदी व भोजपुरी फ़िल्म जगत के दिग्गजो की मौजूदगी में लंदन में आयोजित भोजपुरी फ़िल्म अवार्ड समारोह में किया गया । इस मौके पर 30 मिनट के टीजर को लांच किया गया जिसकी समारोह में मौजूद लोगों ने काफी सराहना की । निर्माता सिद्धार्थ चोपड़ा के साथ फिल्म में मुख्य भूमिका निभा रहे मेगा स्टार रवि किशन , जुबली स्टार दिनेश लाल यादव निरहुआ और लकी अदाकारा आम्रपाली दुबे भी इस मौके पर मौजूद थे ।

The singing sensation, Swati Sharma, had over the weekend performed at the Paris Appreciation Awards 2017 and also bagged the ‘Best Bollywood Singing Talent Award’ at a glittering awards ceremony here in Paris and which was an initiative of the World News Network.
The last weekend saw this awards event which is as unique as it gets on global terms, with the first level of the iconic Eiffel Tower being the setting for the first time in history, where the Who’s-Who of the world assembled to witness an array of spectacular display of the best of fashion and high-street chic that defines the Paris fashion circuit.
Swati, the classical singer from India, who has got under her belt various projects, sang her popular numbers to rounds of applause from the gathered audience which comprised of an eclectic mix of audience from around the world.

Robby Wells, the U.S. Democratic Party’s Presidential candidate for the 2020 elections who was the Guest of Honour and put-up an inspiring speech at the Paris Appreciation Awards 2017 which was held atop the iconic Wonder of the World, the Eiffel Tower. The event was organised and executed by La Marque advertising and marketing agency, Paris.
Wells appreciated the fact that this event will be recorded in history as the first ever awards programme to have been held on any Wonder of the World and chose the wonderful and iconic Eiffel Tower to formally announce and introduce himself to the world community of his 2020 US Presidential campaign, christened as RiseUp.
The august audience present at this unique awards event were spellbound by the speech which was as inspiring as it was forthright in its appeal as Wells touched upon burning issues of international concern like the Paris Agreement and global terror. He further stated that not only will America ensure and secure peace and happiness for its people. He would also look to ensure that the terror groups would be annihilated and contained in order to ensure world peace.

In a major leap for Indian Film Industry, an Indo-Korean bilateral agreement to foster international movie projects has been signed. Indywood Film Carnival, promoted by UAE-based billionaire Sohan Roy, has inked Memorandum of Understanding with Korea-based Seoul Guro Kids International Film Festival (GUKIFF) to exchange knowledge, technology and cooperation in producing movies and events. The agreement was signed by Indywood Founder Director Mr. Sohan Roy and the City Mayor of Guro Mr. Lee Sung on Monday.
“We are proud to associate with India and Indywood Film Carnival. We believe that the association will be a game-changer in international movie arena. The bilateral collaboration would definitely help to elevate Indian Film Industry to new heights in the coming years,” said the Chief Director and Executive Chairperson of Seoul Guro International Kids Film Festival Mr. Han Ki Kim.
GUKIFF selected Indywood Film Carnival as the Indian partner for future cooperation on movie selection, knowledge exchange, festival representation, programme exchange etc. As per the agreement, Korean delegates will attend Indywood Film Carnival 2017 to be held at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, from December 1 to 4. During the visit, they will explore the possibilities of movie co-production, investment opportunities, talents, content distribution and software support for transforming Indian Film Industry as part of 10 billion US dollar Project Indywood.
Indywood is eyeing tie ups with 100 countries and 200 festival associations across the globe as part of Project Indywood in the next five years. “Almost 25 per cent of the target has been achieved in the first year itself. With the support of technology giants like Korea will accelerate the growth of Indian Film Industry to next level by 2020,” said top officials of Indywood.
