Sony BBC Earth is set to premiere the second season of their marquee property ‘Frozen Planet’ in India. Produced by BBC Studios’ world-renowned Natural History Unit, co-produced by BBC America, the Open University, Migu Video, ZDF and France Televisions, Frozen Planet II is narrated by Sir David Attenborough. Premiering on October 17, 2022, ‘Frozen Planet II’ will take people on an expedition to the world’s coldest areas – the high mountains, frozen desserts, snowbound forests, and ice-cold oceans, to explore the wildlife in these regions.
Bringing the second season of Frozen Planet II, Sony BBC Earth hosts a special screening in Mumbai and the Green Carpet was graced by well known Appnapan Badlte Rishton Ka Bandhan actor Rajshree Thakur, she shares “Frozen planet was a wonderful experience for me watching wildlife made by David Attenborough. रियलिटी शो बिग बॉस से चर्चा में आए रोमिल चौधरी ने बताया कि अजय वर्धन फ़िल्म में अजय का टाइटल रोल प्ले करना काफी चैलेंजिंग था। एक डॉक्टर की भूमिका निभाने के लिए काफी रिसर्च करना पड़ा। मेरे लिए यह फ़िल्म बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है।
फ़िल्म की डायरेक्टर डॉ प्रगति अग्रवाल ने बताया कि फिल्म अजय वर्धन की कहानी चंडीगढ़ के मशहूर डेंटल सर्जन डॉक्टर अजय आर्यन की ज़िंदगी पर आधारित है। इस फ़िल्म के निर्देशन में मेरा साथ अमित असीम ने दिया है। बॉलीवुड के मशहूर डायरेक्टर दुष्यंत प्रताप सिंह के हम शुक्रगुजार हैं कि उनके सुपरविज़न में फ़िल्म ने बेहतर रूप लिया है। उन्होंने 3 गानों को डायरेक्ट भी किया है।
डॉ प्रगति अग्रवाल ने मीडिया से बात करते हुए आगे कहा कि फिल्म अजय वर्धन को निर्देशित करना सबसे चुनौतीपूर्ण काम था। फिल्म की कहानी से लेकर टेक्निकल डिटेल्स तक हमारे साथ पूरी टीम ने काफी मेहनत की। फिल्म की प्रेरक कहानी तो है ही, इसके साथ-साथ इसमे गीत संगीत, रोमांस और मनोरंजन का भी पूरा साधन मौजूद है। मुझे उम्मीद है कि दर्शकों को यह फिल्म बेहद पसंद आएगी।
डॉ अजय आर्यन ने बताया कि उनका जीवन काफी मुश्किल हालात में गुजरा है। डॉ प्रगति अग्रवाल ने मेरी बॉयोपिक बनाने की कल्पना की और उसे बड़ी कुशलता से पर्दे पे प्रस्तुत किया है। सभी कलाकारों ने अपनी जान लगा दी है। हम दुष्यंत प्रताप सिंह के भी आभारी हैं कि उन्होंने पूरी फिल्म को सुपरवाइज़ किया और अब इसको डिस्ट्रीब्यूट भी कर रहे हैं।
जी हाँ, फ़िल्म अजय वर्धन का डिस्ट्रीब्यूशन और मार्केटिंग दुष्यंत कॉर्पोरेशन द्वारा किया जा रहा है। दुष्यंत प्रताप सिंह ने यहां बताया कि यह फिल्म सिनेमाघरों में 16 दिसंबर को दस्तक देगी। श्रीलंका की अभिनेत्री राशिप्रभा संदीपनी इस फिल्म के जरिए बॉलीवुड में अपनी शुरुआत करने जा रही हैं। फ़िल्म के एक गीत “भूलना ही था” में श्रीलंका की यह टैलेंटेड ऎक्ट्रेस और अहम शर्मा नजर आने वाले हैं। जबकि फ़िल्म के एक और सॉन्ग अक्कड बक्कड़ में अर्जुमन मुगल हैं। फ़िल्म के एक खूबसूरत गीत “चंडीगढ़ की चमकती रानी” में ऐश्वर्या राज भकुनी बहुत प्यारी नजर आ रही हैं।

Every year on October 2, it is celebrated as ‘Gandhi Jayanti’ as its the birthday of the Father of Nation, Mohandas Karamchandra Gandhi also known as Mahatma Gandhi or Bapu. On this day, several programs are held in the memory of Bapu by many social organizations including various political parties. Dr. Krishna Chauhan, under one such organization named KCF Foundation organized the award show ‘Mahatma Gandhi Ratna Samman 2022’ for the second time. It took place at the Mayor Hall, Andheri West in Mumbai.
Actor Ranjit, director Mehul Kumar, BN Tiwari, music composer Dilip Sen, Anil Nagrath, Pankaj Berry, Lok Sabha MP Dr Sunil Baliram Gaikwad, Union leader Abhijit Rane, actress Sujata Mehta, social worker Sundari Thakur, Madhumangal Das, Social worker and litterateur Deendayal Murarka attended the event as the chief guest and also, were honored with this prestigious award.
Just like the previous year, this year too, Dr. Krishna Chouhan honored those who served people with their remarkable work in Bollywood and other Social fields with the prestigious ‘Mahatma Gandhi Ratna Samman 2022’.
During the program, Ranjit said ” Every individual should follow the priest of truth and non-violence and that would eventually lead you to a loving life. I am a villain in films but I am blessed with tons of love from people”, to which Mehul Kumar added, “People are forgetting to follow Gandhi ji, we need to follow his ideologies.” At the same time, Anil Nagrath said, Today people have become selfish and are just focusing on the rat race. Everyone needs someone or something. So, take some time out for your people, for your loved ones.” Story reader Madhumangal Das said, “There are very few times when Mahatmas come into the world. Like Gandhiji, we should also start our daily routine with bhajans.” Dr Sunil Baliram Gaikwad said that one should get inspire from Gandhiji’s thoughts and do his work.

What happens when you search solitude within the construct of an artistic practice?
Subhash Awchat’s present series of watercolours is a reflection of time, its structure, not measured by a watch but one that is witnessed when we fall humble into a magnificent landscape. In French we would say “aquarelles au fils du temps” or watercolours over the passage of time.
We now face an artist with age. Loneliness is a facet of time. The pandemic allowed us to face our interiority with great intimacy. Awchat was left alone without access to his acrylics or his canvases. A pad of watercolour paper was all that he had access to. A pad gifted to his grandson and for colours he had basic watercolours that were fabricated here in India. The command on colour and form-forming is urgent when the brush touches the paper you need to draw with water or the images turn to smudges. Awchat displayed much ability in handling colour and form. He changed his palette.
Illness in old age is always a transformation. Subhash has spent time near a lake in Bhor on the Western Ghats of Maharashtra. This plateau-esque terrain with valleys and a reservoir is stationary in time. Watercolours from here capture Awchat’s view of the Sky as blue. He sees homes dwarfed under the horizon of the Sun. His monk-like figures run under colourful buntings that have affinities of form with geometrical abstraction. We realise how he uses space in his canvases; a particular work divided the paper into a palette of pastels. He is not using ochre. Brown is not to be seen, instead, bright Yellows, Pinks and Light Blues fill spaces where he doesn’t find forms. A social person finally finds in the landscape a form to draw solitude.

इस वर्ष IAWA इंडिया ने प्लेटिनम श्रेणी को शामिल किया जिसमें डॉ सानिपिना जयलक्ष्मी राव विजेता रहीं। वह 65 वर्ष की आयु में कठिन प्रतिस्पर्धा के सभी दौरों को पार कर लोगों के लिए प्रेरणा बनीं ।
पूरी तरह से कैंसर रोगियों को समर्पित इस प्रतियोगिता के जजमेंट पैनल में निर्माता निर्देशिका शोमू मित्रा, पॉपुलर क्वीन यूनिवर्स उमा मोदी, वॉयस ऑफ इंडिया की गायिका पॉलामी घोष, प्रसिद्ध मॉडल और अभिनेता हामिद सैयद और एडवोकेट राजेश पांडे शामिल थे।
कार्यक्रम को सफल बनाने में जोवीश हर्बल और Dreamland Resort ने भी सहयोग दिया।
मुंबई की इनोवेटिव आर्टिस्ट वैल्फेयर ऐसोसिएशन (IAWA) व अमर सिने प्रोडक्शन द्वारा कैंसर जागरूकता को समर्पित मिस एंड मिसेज इंडिया 2022 प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन 24 सितंबर को मुंबई में करवाया गया।
