Ahsaan Qureshi – A Comedian Par Excellence

Ahsaan Qureshi is one and only one comedian anchor and actor who in a short span of time has become a household name not only in India but all over the world.

The Editor met this King of Comedy on the sets of Hum Aap Ke Ghar Mein Rahte Hain which is on Air and his performance is highly appreciated by the public and press alike.

Whatever discussed was very interesting as many interesting facts and information were revealed by him. During the chat he revealed today he has become a Mumbaikar and when the Editor asked him what does he mean, he informed that after paying so many kar – Income kar(Income-tax) bijlikar (Electric Bill) and sumpati (wealth) kar.

Hailing from Madhya Pradesh, he performed from all over India and become a most sought after poetic comedian which is his invention. As an Indian slapstick comedian, drifted to Mumbai, the Mecca of Hindi films to pursue his career and accomplish his mission as an actor par excellence and win recognition and fame.

Blessed with profuse talent as a comedian, in Mumbai, he made a hatrick – firstly in the enormous Indian Laughter Show, secondly bagged an assignment in Bombay to Goa which turned out to be a super hit and he became a Star overnight and finally and thirdly as a member at the house of the Big Boss season 2, which was a best prospect for him to emerge into the limelight.

Later he bagged an assignment in a Bhojpuri film Hanuman Bhakt Havaldar. It is rare for a newcomer in Bollywood to emerge in the limelight without having to lobby much as a comedian par excellence.

In Mumbai since last 20 years most of his jokes centers in poetic style, on political satire and on social issues. Due to this, his demand increased in overseas and he entertained the audience  in Germany, New York, New Jersey,Dar-es-salaam, Nairobi, Bahrain, Dubai, Sharjah, Kuwait, Malayasia, Bangkok, New Zealand, Oakland etc and in all the places he won enormous applauds and which meant a lot for him.

In Hum Apke Ghar Mein Rahte Hai,  he is essaying the central role  and anchoring and which won him immense recognition, when asked had he not been  an actor what would have been his career, Qureshi asserted that he would have been a sportsman in hockey or a football.  

Amusingly, he is the one and only person in Bollywood who has 24 duplicates and his duplicates range from the age group of 5 to 40.

He is a real Desh Bhakt and whatever he does, he does it according to law.  He believes in Family Planning and that is precisely, he has One Son and One daughter – Chhota Parivar Sukhi Parivar
