The first digital print of Dhillon Records Entertainment’s maiden venture THE SLUM STARS is out and the film will be shown to censors shortly. Veteran filmmaker K.R. Reddy who is presenting Saraswati Films’ ANGEL has started the dubbing of all the major actors on 15th June at Audio Lab, Andheri. Showbiz personalities or celebrities often fall prey to cyber hacking. Recently Hrishikesh Pandey, the social filmmaker’s Facebook account got hacked and he came to know about this misdemeanor on 4th June 2017.
Hrishikesh directed a rom-com short film named ‘Girlfriend Khali Hai Kya’ and some clips of the film that were on his phone got misused. Through Hrishikesh’s Facebook Messenger, the hacker had sent those shots of the film to one of Hrishikesh’s peers whose name was misused. The hacker also did chatting with an account named after a popular Pakistani model whose account was shown active on 23rd May 2017 but it got deactivated on June 1st, 2017. Also to Hrishikesh’s surprise, his friends count on Facebook increased from 1600 to 4300.

It troubled him very much because the hacker misused the names with whom the filmmaker was closely associated with. He is more concerned about them than himself. Now, he wants his fans to know about the incident he has gone through.

मेहुल कुमार को मिला दादा साहेब फालके अकादमी अवार्ड मिला
उन निर्माता-निर्देशकों को भूल पाना इतना आसान नहीं है जिन्होंने फिल्म इंडस्ट्री को कई यादगार फिल्में दी हों। ऐसे फिल्ममेकर्स शोमैन की कैटेगिरी में आते हैं, जिन्हें सेल्यूट करने का दिल करता है क्योंकि इंडस्ट्री में उन्होंने अविस्मरणीय योगदान दिया है। ऐसे फिल्ममेकर्स सम्मान के हकदार हैं। मरते दम तक, क्रांतिवीर, तिरंगा जैसी ब्लॉकबस्टर फिल्में बनाने वाले निर्माता-निर्देशक मेहुल कुमार को भी पिछले दिनों सिनेमा में दिए उनके अप्रतिम योगदान के लिए दादा साहेब फालके अकादमी अवार्ड देकर सम्मानित किया गया है। यह अवार्ड उन्हें गुजराती सिनेमा में सर्वश्रेष्ठ फिल्म निर्माण व निर्देशन के लिए दिया गया है। बता दें कि मेहुल कुमार ने गुजराती में अब तक 18 फिल्मों का निर्माण किया है जिनमें 14 फिल्में हिट रही हैं। गुजराती सिनेमा को दी गई पहली हिट फिल्म चंदू जमादार भी उन्होंने ही बनाई थी। इसी तरह गुजराती सिनेमा में एक्शन फिल्मों का ट्रेंड भी उन्होंने ही स्थापित किया।
गुजराती हो या हिंदी, मेहुल ने दोनों ही भाषाओं में श्रेष्ठ काम किया है इसलिए आज भी दर्शक उनसे उम्मीद करते हैं कि मेहुल उस दौर को फिर से याद करवाएं, जब हीरो को एक खास अंदाज़ में परदे पर पेश किया जाता था और ऐसी फिल्मों को दर्शक बार-बार देखते थे जिससे फिल्में सिल्वर या गोल्डन जुबली मनाया करती थीं जबकि आज का सिनेमा सिर्फ पहले सप्ताह तक सिमटकर रह गया है। मेहुल कहते हैं कि अब सिनेमा बड़े स्टार्स और कारपोरेट के हाथों में आ गया है, जो लचर कहानियों पर स्तरहीन फिल्में देकर दर्शकों के साथ विश्वासघात कर रहे हैं। अगर आपके पास बड़े स्टार्स नहीं हैं, तो अच्छी कहानी के बावजूद फिल्म रिलीज़ कर प्रोफिट ले पाना असंभव है। वैसे तो अब कहानी को कोई महत्व नहीं दिया जा रहा। महत्व मिल रहा है तो बिग स्टार्स को, जिनके नाम पर फिल्म बिकती है। पहले स्टार्स लाओ, फिर कहानी दिखाओ। कोई नियम-कायदा नहीं रह गया है।
मेेहुल कहते हैं कि गुजराती हो या हिंदी, सब्सिडी के नाम का खेल रहा है। गुजराती सिनेमा की तो स्थिति ज्यादा खराब है। सब्सिडी हासिल करने के लिए भेड़चाल चल रही है। ऐसी फिल्में बनाई जा रही हैं जो सब्सिडी के लायक ही नहीं हैं। ऐसे मेकर्स सरकार से सब्सिडी हासिल करने के नियम ही नहीं जानते, फिर भी घटिया फिल्में बनाए जा रहे हैं। ऐसा भी नहीं है कि मेहुल ने वर्तमान हालात को देखते हुए फिल्मों के निर्माण से तौबा कर ली हो। वह आज भी फिल्म बनाने की ख्वाहिश रखते हैं, लेकिन ऐसे कलाकारों के साथ ही काम करना चाहते हैं, जो निर्देशक की भावनाओं और महत्व को समझे। उनके काम का सम्मान करे। अक्षय कुमार ऐसे ही कलाकारों में से एक हैं, जो अनुशासित और निर्माता-निर्देशक की कद्र करते हुए फिल्म को तय समय पर खत्म करते हैं। टीम के साथ उनका पूरा सहयोग रहता है। मेहुल कहते हैं कि उन्होंने अक्षय, अमिताभ और नाना पाटेकर जैसे अभिनेताओं के साथ फिल्में इसलिए की हैं क्योंकि उन्होंने निर्देशक के काम में कभी हस्तक्षेप नहीं किया बल्कि सहयोग ही करते रहे। अक्षय कुमार के लिए मेरे पास आज भी एक अच्छा सब्जेक्ट है और उम्मीद करता हूं कि अक्षय जल्द ही इस सब्जेक्ट पर काम करने के लिए समय निकालेंगे। हालांकि इस संदर्भ में मेरी उनसे बातचीत हो चुकी है।——————-सिने छायाकार रमाकांत मुंडे, मुंबई
