निर्माण काल से ही चर्चा में रही निर्माता शिवनारायण सिंह व निर्देशक प्रेमांशु सिंह की सिपाही के आखिरी चरण की शूटिंग इन दिनों गुजरात में प्रगति पर है । उत्तर प्रदेश के खूबसूरत लोकेशन पर फ़िल्म के अधिकतर भाग की शूटिंग पूर्व में कर ली गई थी । निर्देशक प्रेमांशु सिंह ने बताया कि पोस्ट प्रोडक्शन का अधिकतर काम पूरा हो चुका है और इस चरण की शूटिंग की समाप्ति के बाद डबिंग भी पूरी कर ली जाएगी । उल्लेखनीय है जुबली स्टार दिनेश लाल यादव निरहुआ , सुपर हिट अदाकारा आम्रपाली दुबे , मनोज सिंह टाईगर , सुशील सिंह , अनूप अरोरा , संजय पांडे आदि अभिनीत सिपाही के लेखक मनोज टाईगर , कैमरामैन देवेंद्र तिवारी और संगीतकार ओम झा हैं जबकि प्रचारक हैं उदय भगत ।

पटना। जन अधिकार पार्टी (लो) के राष्ट्रीय संरक्षक सह सांसद श्री पप्पू यादव ने आज हिप –हॉप इंडियन चैंपियनशिप में बिहार को पहली बार ब्रॉन्ज मेडल दिलाने वाले हिप-हॉप डांस के कलाकारों अमेरिका जाने के लिए एक लाख रूपए की आर्थिक मदद की। आयुष, रोहन, अश्विन, अंकित, सूरज और सर्वोत्तम की हिप – हॉप टीम अमेरिका के एरिजोना फिनोइस में आयोजित होने वाले हिप – हॉप चैंपियनशिप में भाग लेने आगामी पांच अगस्त को रवाना होगी। इससे पहले उन्हें वीजा व अन्य चीजों के लिए सांसद ने आर्थिक मदद दी।
इस दौरान सांसद श्री यादव ने राज्य सरकार पर बिहार की प्रतिभा को अनदेखा करने का आरोप लगाते हुए कि बिहार के बच्चों में प्रतिभा की कमी नहीं है, मगर राज्य सरकार को इससे कोई मतलब नहीं है। बिहार के बच्चे आज खेल से लेकर नृत्य तक में अपनी प्रतिभा से राज्य का नाम रौशन कर रहे हैं। अमेरिका से आए बुलावे पर हिप – हॉप चैंपियनशिप में जा रहे बिहार के बच्चों को हम बधाई और शुभकामना देते हैं कि वे अपनी प्रतिभा को खुद की मेहनत से वैश्विक पटल पर पेश करने का जुनून और जज्बा रखते हैं।

10.06.2017, Kochi: Indywood, a 10 billion US dollar project which aims at elevating Indian film industry to a global platform, has honoured prominent Kerala-based journalists from print, visual, online and radio media by conferring prestigious Indywood Media Excellence Awards for their valuable contributions and constant efforts to uplift film and media industry. The awards were distributed at an event held at IMC Hall, Kakkanad, on Friday.
The prestigious Lifetime Achievement Awards were awarded to P Premchand (Special Correspondent- Mathrubhumi Kottayam) and Rajendran Pillai (Senior Programme Producer-Doordarshan).
Special recognition was awarded to Diana Silvester (Asianet), K. Pradeep (The Hindu), Shevlin Sebastian (The New Indian Express), Chandu Jagannathan (Radio Mango 91.9), Bright Sam Robins (Jeevan TV), MS Das (Cinema Mangalam), Joshy Kurian (Asianet News), Renji Kuriakose (Malayala Manorama) and Sajeev Velayudhan (Manorama News).
While delivering the inaugural address, Indywood Film Carnival Founder Director Shri Sohan Roy announced that 3rd edition of Indywood Film Carnival 2017, one of the largest film-based events in the country, will be held at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, from December 1 – 4, 2017.
“The third edition of the film carnival will be a mammoth one in terms of participation of national and international delegates. The event offers interactive sessions with the eminent filmmakers from across the world, networking opportunities and entertainment programs,” he said.

मुम्बई के आदर्श नगर स्थित शाकुंतलम थियेटर में नाट्य संस्था पंचम रंग की दो नाटकों का मंचन किया गया । पहला नाटक था नेता जी । राजनीतिक व्यंग्य और हास्य का मिश्रण लिये यह नाटक एक पहलवान की मुखिया चुनाव लड़ने की कहानी को बयां करता है । गांव के मुखिया के ठाठ बाट से प्रभावित पहलवान की पत्नी किस तरह से अपने पति को चुनाव लड़वाने की कोशिस में अपना सारा जमीन बेच देती है उसी कहानी को संगीत और खूबसूरत संवाद के माध्यम से पिरोया गया है । पहलवान की भूमिका में जहां भोजपुरी फिल्मो के चर्चित अभिनेता मनोज टाईगर ने अपने अभिनय को सजीव कर दिया है । उनकी पत्नी की भूमिका में रोजा उस्मानी काफी जंची है ।
